This is hands down my favorite sandwich place in Clovis. The title says it itself. They don't only have sandwiches but churros, burgers, salads and loaded fries. The sandwiches are so delicious I haven't tried anything else but I plan to venture out if I end up needing a break from sandwiches haha. The owner and staff are very friendly and always making sure to check in after you've received your food to see if you need anything else. It's a very clean and spacious place to enjoy your food. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious! Bread was soft and beer battered fries were crispy and yummy. Hit the spot. Glad I made the stop and will definitely be back. Tried out this new sandwich shop @ Minnewawa & Shaw. This place is great! I had the Philly Cheese Steak, as is, with provolone on sourdough. Man that thing was delicious and made right! They use thin sliced Ribeye instead of sirloin or tritip like the other shops in town. The flavor was great, however, their bread was a bonus. The bread had the perfect bite and softness. This was my first visit, however, it won't be my last. Knowing that they went the extra lengths to use ribeye in the philly. Well, I now want to try the rest of their menu!! read more

Decided to drop by for lunch because we saw the meat was smoked in house. My tri tik sandwich was amazing and the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Best ones I'd had in a while. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place -- their food is fresh, the customer service is amazing! They're all super friendly and knowledgeable, helpful, and have great recommendations. I've been there twice -- once with just my husband and once with three of my kiddos, and we all enjoyed it immensely. I do wish they had an option to grill the sandwiches instead of just toasting them, but that's personal preference and only noted as a recommendation to them if they see this. And it's super reasonably priced, too! We will be back again and again and again. read more

Four Stars are given to the two gentlemen working on the day I came here with my mother in law. Thank you both for coming to work! I found out that one was in fact the manager/ son of the owner, which was nice to find out that he's keeping his store and product in very good shape! So we had come down here on a Saturday afternoon "around lunch time" so of course you should expect a wait. They're currently doing "take out only" but the problem is, the customers don't know how to distance themselves from others and they started to crowd inside a little bit "either ordering at the counter or waiting for their order." I feel like the workers would've regulated but it was just two of them on what just became "the busiest Saturday of their lives!" Poor guys! They were bombarded with call in orders on top of all of us coming through and ordering multiple sandwiches. The Order: my father in law got the trip tip sandwich, no veg, just meat, cheese and a little mustard. My mother in law and my wife both got a veggie but my mother in law "apparently orders hers a certain way" which they "forgot to make right a second time around" her words not mine lol. We all got combos with fries and drinks, I didn't get the exact price, but they do charge around the same amount that Deli Delicious does. So think around $12-$13 bucks for a combo. The sandwiches truly does remind me of Deli Delicious! Here I was thinking I was getting some brand new hoagie experience! Lol and then when I got my sandwich "Roast Beef and Pastrami" cold on white, the garden thrown in it with the mayo/mustard mix, add some kick with the jalapenos and wax peppers. It was good! Very good actually! But it wasn't anything new! Apparently to my in laws they've never been To D.D. so they don't realize it's about the same thing. The presentation and the sizes. Here's where it differs. These guys know how to pack a sandwich! When I got mine and opened the lid, it was like seeing gold! The meat was perfectly cut, it made the sandwich so nice and thick! The meat was perfectly in place and still came out from the side just a tiny bit to give you a wink! Lol. The flavor was phenomenal! I took one bite to enjoy and soak in the flavor, then inhaled my sandwich before anyone else was finished! Would I go back? Yeah! Do I think it's original? No. But is the service and quality worth it over D.D.? You bet it is! Come here the next time you're craving a sandwich! read more

We wanted a sandwich but didn't want that quick stop sandwich shop. So we've seen Subbies before and my honey said let's go try it and support our local sandwich shop. Glad we did, the sandwiches are so filling. I couldn't even finish the small after sharing the tri tip fries. He got the pastrami, roast beef and turkey on sour dough bread. I chose the turkey, ham and salami. The bread was warm and soft and the beer battered fries were crispy. Chipotle and barbecue sauce over them with the tri tip....YUMMM!!! Sweet potato fries and beer battered fries were fantastic but they lost their crunch because of how they were packaged. Would be nice if they were in a big cup or something. Tried this place out based on the Yelp reviews and we weren't disappointed. Service was excellent and the establishment was very clean. We took a while to decide what we wanted but they were very patient and helpful with us. We ended up ordering a grilled chicken salad, BLT sandwich, cheeseburger and basket of beer battered fries and a French dip sandwich. The basket of fries is comparable to the size you get at Bulldog Grill. They gave us ranch to dip the fries with which was went well with them. Will definitely return again. Tried this place out for lunch today. The dining area was very clean and welcoming. The gentleman that rang me up explained the menu to me and from there I decided on a ham, Turkey, bacon, provolone sandwich on white bread. I was blown away by how good the sandwich was. Decided to try this place on a whim today. I definitely made a good decision. The sandwich is pretty filling. I got a medium hot and spicy chicken and half was already making me full. The beer batter fries are salty and crispy. One serving was plenty for two. My husband got the large philly steak and said it was really good but he could only eat half. This was my third time ordering from here. I get pastrami lettuce wrap. Got my order, took a bite in my car and don't find any avocado. So I pulled up in front and called them. Guys swears there's avocado. So he comes out to show me. He's standing at my passenger window leaning in, masked gloved, and I'm showing him my sandwich. He wants to see the other half I haven't touched. Ok, he proceeds to unravel this sandwich. Lettuce and olives and pickle are falling onto my car seat. He picked them up and placed it back into my sandwich. He found a little spot of smooshed avocado. Handed this mess back to me. I asked to please remake that section. I'm not going back.
