I would honestly give this place a second try (except I don't live nearby), it may have been a bad batch of dip powder or bad top coat, etc.

The cost was well worth it (hot towel and massage after the foot treatment and color application)! Everything was very clean inside the salon. They used brand new items (opened in front of me), changed gloves multiple times and had clean tools. Ling Ling, my manicurist, was very nice and did a great job! It honestly saddens me to have to write this email because I've visited your salon before and had decent experiences. However, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. My husband and I came in and spent a significant amount for two pedicures and, for myself, a manicure with builder gel before our vacation. Unfortunately, the pedicures were not done well--we both left with our feet still feeling rough and not properly cared for. As for my manicure, the result looked nothing like the inspiration photos I provided. I've also called to ask about a polish change for my daughter, and again, the tone and attitude were unnecessarily rude. Being told it would be $30 for a simple polish change right after she had just gotten her nails done was frustrating, especially when it was just a matter of not liking the color. The only reason I've continued coming to this salon is because of the young lady with the black glasses who does my pedicures and manicures. She's always sweet, professional, and does excellent work. The manager was upset I accidentally made two appointments as they don't have a cancel or reschedule option. I put a note in the second appointment saying I needed to reschedule to later, as I called earlier and the salon was closed/no answer. He berated me at the salon saying "no, call, you make two appointments and we can't see notes in our system" so why have a note option online at all? Pricing is not transparent and honestly they are a little shady with it. I booked an appointment for a gel fill in, and knew I'd probably pay more to get an acrylic put on as one of my nails broke. During the service, the technician wasn't very talkative and not helpful when I asked what color (between two colors) would not match too closely to my skin tone as I didn't want that. I really don't like how my nails came out. At the end, he charged me for a full manicure on top of the gel fill-in, acrylic tip, and cat eye. My total was $75 when I only came in for a gel fill in & I understand the cat eye is more. I didn't ask for a manicure and he definitely didn't ask me if I would like one for an additional charge. I'm not going back to this salon, as I rather spend that much money for an owner/manager who values his customer and doesn't seem to have an attitude at every single remark. Also, I don't appreciate shady businesses adding services and charging you at the end because obviously I'll pay for it being done but I didn't ask for it so how is that fair?
