I've been going to this nail salon on and off for the last three years. This establishment is a little outdated compared to the new trendy nail salons, but I will say they have the same quality of work as somewhere it would be more expensive. I had an appointment for a standard fill with Kevin and it took 1.5 hours. For that amount of time, you would expect that my nails were near perfect. Rather, they were uneven and sloppy. If you go, ask for Bill otherwise you will be there all day with poor results. read more

I had an appointment for two pedi & two manicures. It took them 2.5 hour to complete the work. That alone is aggravating but I also found toenails in the tub they sat me at so they definitely do not clean their work spaces in between clients much less their tools. I had to ask to be reseated and they asked me why, and when I said I what I found their reaction was rude and unapologetic. And when my pedi was done the next customer was seated in my place and given service without rinsing the tub I had my feet in or sanitizing the tools.. which is why I'm sure they couldn't care less. Several times I have made an appointment and have been told to come back. Bill and Kevin will take all these walk-ins and tell appointmeets to come back later. This is bad business. I found a much better and updated business in Bartlett that amazingly honors appointments over walk-ins and a does much better job. read more

I'd give this place a zero if I could. I went in as a walk-in on a Saturday. Note, I had nothing planned for the day, figuring there would be a wait, no biggie for me. Instead, I got in after a short wait. Thought that was a plus. It wasn't. I haven't had my nails done in years so when he asked me what I'd like I said a full set with a French tip. He asked if gel was okay and if I wanted pre-done French nails or paint. I agreed with gel, that's what I've done in the past and since he was obviously busy, I said the pre-done French tips where okay. Thought I'd make it easier on him. During the process, other people arrived, phone calls came in and he told them to come in; despite seeming to be over booked and very short staffed. (There where only two other employees there doing nails and toenails) Then during the middle of it all, they all stopped to eat food in the back room; you could clearly hear the microwave and smell their food. Bizarre! The older man rushed through the process on my hands and with the distractions, forgot where he was and did not buff one hand. He didn't even have me wash my hands before applying the clear polish. They felt so gritty! In the end, my nails looked pretty bad. Later, they hurt. I even had him go short since I haven't had them done in a long while. There was simply no time, to take the time for the care of my nails, no education, (I learned later from another nail place of new new products and techniques) All in all, I was money coming into his shop. Get them in and get them out! Bypass the care. It was all about the Benjamin's. I ended up letting these fake gel nails fall off and took another break due to the major thin nail damage. And they're still not completely repaired; however, with the help of another nail place, who actually gives a damn about me and my nails, I'm on the road to nail recovery. These are my real nails, no acrylic or gel, so im very cautious of what is being done to them. She was very nice, answered a couple questions for me and kept good conversation. read more

I really enjoyed this place the few times I've gone. However, it seems kind of out of date. I like the option of having designs on my nails and I noticed they don's really have a display of nail designs, I thought. I found a bunch of displays hidden behind a pedi chair....For me that wasn't good. Then I noticed that my nails look tore up after a week! I get the coffin design and after a week they looked more oval shaped than anything. It was worth a shot. I went since it was close to my house and I didn't have a car. I will go back in the future if I can't get to my regular place; that I've went back to since having a car. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT GO! Less then 24 hours after getting gels done they all started to bubble and peal off. I called the store and the guy I spoke to was so rude! He said they do not do refunds then he hung up on me saying he was to busy to deal with this. Thats $35 in the garbage. read more

I came here for the first time today. U.S. Nails was very open and clean. I was quite impressed and I didn't even get to how kind they all were. I had to wait a bit, but really you have to wait at almost every nail place. I walked in and I was immediately taken care of the guy that did my acrylic full set was quick and gentle! Please do not go here. I got my nails done by Kevin and he messed them up. Did not fully paint a couple of my nails. I called a couple days later to see if they would be able to fix this over the weekend since I work m-f and go to school as well. The guy was an idiot and told me he could not do anything about it I had to either go that same day or the next day. I had to repeat myself 3 times that I could not go until Saturday. He told me he would not fix it . So I spent $35 on half painted nails might as well have done them myself. Worst customer service ! read more
