My hands were wrecked from gardening and I really needed a manicure so I walked in without an appointment. I was greeted by Sue and her cute little, friendly & quiet Maltese/Shitzu dog. Sue did a great job with the manicure. She even gave me a mini neck/back massage while my nails were drying. I will be back soon and get a pedicure as well for sandal season when I have more time. read more

My husband and I came here for our pedicures before our trip and it was a very pleasant experience the ladies were great!!!! We'll be back!

My MIL got me a gift card for Soothing Nails. I tried other places closer but it's never the same. Sue is great. She does everything by hand (example- no dremmel) and pedis automatically get paraffin wax to the heals Acquired taste, but a massage to your shoulders and back is included for manicures, of course they ask first. Bonus there is a dog sometimes dogs. Today I had Justina and she's great. With few people working Sue always manages to get it done in a timely manner with quality on top. K Dramas are also relaxing. My friend told me about this place years ago and I've been going since. Highly recommend. read more

Never fails, I've been coming here for 7 years. Consistent and reliable. Good vibe, friendly staff.

I get a no chip French pedicure. The price is $60. I have paid for this service and it has costed me from $75-$82 in the area at other locations. They never use a dremel on my toes and I get hot stones and the whole nine yards. The workers are always kind and I leave 100% satisfied with the paint job and my feet feel awesome. They also give you a shoulder massage at the end of your visit. I will continue to come back. read more

Soothing Nail Spa - Finished French no chip pedicure, four days old. - Nail Salons Near Me - Bartlett, Illinois

Never been to Soothing Nail Spa? Apologize to your feet right now for not letting them experience the most relaxing spa treatment ever. I moved to Bartlett one year ago and when I asked my friend who used to live in the area where she'd recommend a pedicure, I barely finished saying 'pedicure' and she blurted out "Soothing Nails!!" From the warm greeting the second you step in (or call) to the relaxing foot treatment to the amazing back massage to the friendly staff and owner... Soothing Nails really is the perfect place to get your nails done. The price is great, but the friendliness of Sue (the owner) and her staff will have you coming back over and over. I refuse to get my nails done anywhere else. read more

My nail fell off less than a week to getting them done. These have been the worst piss poor excuse of nails I've ever had in my life. Never had a had such a poor experience. Not only was the shape awful but it was $80 for plain square nails. This place is embarrassing and gross. They reused the same utensils on us. Never come here.. read more

I LOVE SOOTHING NAIL SPA!! I made an appointment for my mom and I for a spa mani and Pedi. They preferred appts due to the safety of their clients during this pandemic. They also wore face masks which made me feel more at ease that this business cares for their clients! The nail technicians were very professional, friendly, and caring...Our Mani and Pedi were so very relaxing and soothing! Our nails look absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this place! read more

I enjoyed going here. They are respectful of your time and go to great ends to stay on schedule. Nice decor and professional demeanors!

I love this nail spa. The ladies are professional and super sweet. My no chip lasts more than 2 week and the pedicures are amazing!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Not only was the quality of the service poor, the customer service was even worse. For my cousins wedding, we had the whole bridal party get their nails done. My sisters manicure that was done was literally translucent. Also, Less than 24 hours later, my sisters manicure broke and cracked. We called the nail salon to get a refund and they refused to compromise the service amount after being hung up on after multiple calls. Definitely recommend a nail salon more proffesional then this one. read more

I came in with my mom to get our nails done, and was immediately charmed with how clean this salon was. All of the workers were very inviting and kind. I had just had vocal surgery as my mom explained to them, and they were all very accommodating to me. I got a no chip manicure/pedicure, while my mom just got a regular manicure/pedicure. We were both happy with the final outcome! They had a good selection of no chip colors unlike some other places, and they even had mood colors! Naturally, I went the mood route and was not disappointed! Next time I'm out in the burbs looking to get my nails done, I will definitely return to Soothing Nail Spa. read more

Have been a loyal customer for pedicures for a couple years. Went to get a full set of nails so that I stop biting mine. I knew it was going to be an issue when I saw how thin the acrylic nails she was using and that she was using. One nail split within 24 hours, went back and she fixed it. Then 2 days later a nail broke off and now a week later 2 more have split and broken off. I am not rough on my hands. I'm a mom and teacher, nothing that $70 nails shouldn't be able to handle. Very disappointed and won't be going back. read more

Soothing Nail Spa - Dip manicure, $45 - Nail Salons Near Me - Bartlett, Illinois

The place is pretty inside as far as the decor but they don't have as many nail polish options as other places. Additionally, what we were charged didn't match the prices listed; got charged 5 bucks extra. Lastly, my moms nails looked like crap. Every single nail looked like it needed another coat and all nails either we're missing nail polish or had a weird wrinkle. Had to ask the lady for another coat so maybe that's where the 5 buck difference came from. I wish I had a picture but I promise I'm not exaggerating. Usually if one nail is messed up I'll just fix it with a coat of glitter nail polish but this time every nail was poorly painted. The pedicure was very pleasant but the nail polish didn't last long. read more

Thanks to Yelp I found this place when I was not in my usual area. It's been 10 days since getting my manicure so it's time to review... Atmosphere: It's fine. Not as plush as some places - very Ikea - but it's fine. Nice waiting area with tons of magazines. On the TVs when I was there were Korean soaps with subtitles. Loved it! So much more interesting than getting waterboarded with The View or the like. The Technician: I think the woman who helped me was perhaps the owner. She was very nice. Was careful with my hands and feet - nothing hurt. This was important for me as I had a muscular foot injury that I'd mentioned as she began. She was very careful to not bother with the injured area. At one point of my manicure she massaged my shoulders. Nice. The Job: Gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was good. She left my feet feeling smoother than most techs do even with watching out for my injured arch. The polish is perfect. The manicure was good too. Now, after 10 days though I can say it wasn't merely good. It was EXCELLENT. Aside from the usual outgrowth, it looks as perfect as the day it was done. No peeling edges. And here's the part that may actually have me driving to go back....she gets that polish all the way to the edges, even on the sides. You know how some techs just come close? Not her. If there's nail, it's polished! read more

I had no idea why some women do regular mani/pedis. I had been across the road at the neighboring strip mall nail place (VN 2) a couple times and affirmed my feelings the hassle was just not worth the trouble. I can do just as well on my own at home. My sons got me gift cards for this Salon for Christmas so I went in. OK, I get it! Wonderful, relaxing experience- like a mini vacation with friendly, awesome service. They even recalled my sons upon seeing a photo on my phone, and their names! Only experience that rivaled it was the spa at Grand Lido San Souci all-inclusive resort in Jamaica. My previous "professional" no-chips last 4 days at most... I'm just needing a redo now, after 14 days! Soooo impressed, I'm a regular now and will go NOWHERE else! Bravo ladies for a business well done! read more

So relaxing! Came in for a no chip but not only did I get that but I got a little back massage and paraffin treatment, with no extra charge

I was impressed with the service and my gel manicure, which was over and above. Then I got whatever they call their deluxe pedicure! Yowzah! Waaaay over and above the deluxe pedis elsewhere. Skin masks? Hot stones? Paraffin? Hot towels? Massage? Great polish job? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to all. Over an hour of feet bliss. , read more

I recently went for a mani/pedi here and was not happy at all. They were very welcoming and friendly at the start, but the polish job was not professional. Next day, I have polish on my skin around the toes. She layered on the no-chip on my fingers, and didn't know how to do the art design I requested, so the manager had to do it. In the end, she didn't wipe off the top layer very well, and now I have sticky goo on my skin, and the nails are smudged looking and bubbly. So unhappy!!!! read more

I chose this nail salon based on some of the reviews here on Yelp. I was attracted by the extra shoulder massage many of the reviews posted. Upon arriving I was greeted and he lady seemed really nice. I was seated with a nail tech who was probably the quietest person ever so it was a little awkward silence compared to the other nail tech working with the other customer that was in the salon. Manicure was fine nothing different from any other place. One thing caught me off guard, after the manicure was done the nail tech called me over to a machine by the sink and I thought I was going to wash my hands. She tells me put your hand in here which I saw was just a pink liquid. I didn't know what it was so I went to put my hand in and it was super hot! I'm guessing it was wax? I told her it's too hot, no thanks. Last but not least, the massage - it was subpar and I would've been fine without it. Disappointed because I saw the other nail tech with her customer and that looked like a great massage! Overall, manicure was well done everything else was just ok. read more

They did a great job! Really impressed, I got a no-chip pedi and a full set with no chip on top, they do kind of dip powder method, so the nails are beautiful thin, and they did NOT use a machine to file down nail, so no pain! Yay!! I was a last min walk In , wasn't expecting much and they total went above and beyond any other walk in I have ever been too; and they even stayed after hours to help me out. Thank you ladies! I will be back read more

I was very impressed. The technicians really took their time. It wasn't like some places I've been where I felt rushed and that the person doing my nails had no idea what they were doing. I don't live around here, but I will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I stopped in while driving thru town and LOVED the service. Amazing pedicure that included a hot stone massage while you enjoy the spa chair. But the we weren't done beinf pampered because then we were treated to a back massage as well. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely would stop in again next time we in the area. I wish i could give them more than 5 stars. Thank you for a relaxing experience. read more

I was visiting my daughter in Bartlett, needed a full set and decided to do it while I was there. I had a full set put on on Friday, 9/24/21. She charged $60 + $5 for french. By Sunday, the first of my nails popped off while I was opening a water bottle. Fast forward to Wednesday, 9/29/21, and 6 of the 10 nails have popped! I was doing nothing I haven't always done and have had acrylic nails for years. I went to my regular salon in FL to have them repaired and they said all the newly applied nails were lifting and I needed to remove them all or risk getting mold under them. I will NEVER use this salon again and have advised my daughters to steer clear, as well. read more

Slightly awkward because I was the only customer at the time, but everything else more than made up for it. Ambiance: Very clean. Everything was spaced out nicely, instead of being on top of each other. Music was instrumental covers of popular songs. Color selection: very good range of colors for both regular and no-chip. No chip mani: very diligent work on them, and they look amazing! Shoulder massage and hand paraffin wax was included in the basic. Pedi: great job, very gentle, and kept asking if the temp was ok for different things. Heel wax paraffin was included in the basic. Payment: cash tips preferred, but they have credit card payment available. Definitely coming back! read more

Definitely my go to place for mani pedis! They do such an amazing job compared to other places, so definitely worth it since they're a bit more expensive. The shop is very clean and neat, and you can tell their equipments are well maintained. It's just sometimes a little difficult to communicate what you want. I usually get the no chip and they last a really long time, unlike other places that chip in a week or so. This place is for sure high quality! read more

I went here with my girlfriend, and made an appointment and even called to change the time- no problems. The atmosphere is fine- very Ikea like another reviewer added, but that isn't a bad thing. Very clean! The nail tech was friendly, which I appreciate. The mani and pedi lasted and looked great. The only fault I could give is there were a few flies inside which were annoying, as they kept landing on my and my friend. I would go again. Price is standard for the area. read more
