She does everything by hand (example- no dremmel) and pedis automatically get paraffin wax to the heals Acquired taste, but a massage to your shoulders and back is included for manicures, of course they ask first. Bonus there is a dog sometimes dogs. Today I had Justina and she's great. With few people working Sue always manages to get it done in a timely manner with quality on top. K Dramas are also relaxing. I get a no chip French pedicure. The price is $60. I have paid for this service and it has costed me from $75-$82 in the area at other locations. They never use a dremel on my toes and I get hot stones and the whole nine yards. The workers are always kind and I leave 100% satisfied with the paint job and my feet feel awesome. I came in with my mom to get our nails done, and was immediately charmed with how clean this salon was. All of the workers were very inviting and kind. I had just had vocal surgery as my mom explained to them, and they were all very accommodating to me. I got a no chip manicure/pedicure, while my mom just got a regular manicure/pedicure. We were both happy with the final outcome! They had a good selection of no chip colors unlike some other places, and they even had mood colors! Additionally, what we were charged didn't match the prices listed; got charged 5 bucks extra. Lastly, my moms nails looked like crap. Every single nail looked like it needed another coat and all nails either we're missing nail polish or had a weird wrinkle. Had to ask the lady for another coat so maybe that's where the 5 buck difference came from. I wish I had a picture but I promise I'm not exaggerating. Usually if one nail is messed up I'll just fix it with a coat of glitter nail polish but this time every nail was poorly painted. Not as plush as some places - very Ikea - but it's fine. Nice waiting area with tons of magazines. On the TVs when I was there were Korean soaps with subtitles. Loved it! So much more interesting than getting waterboarded with The View or the like. The Technician: I think the woman who helped me was perhaps the owner. She was very nice. Was careful with my hands and feet - nothing hurt. This was important for me as I had a muscular foot injury that I'd mentioned as she began. She was very careful to not bother with the injured area. At one point of my manicure she massaged my shoulders. Nice. The Job: Gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was good. She left my feet feeling smoother than most techs do even with watching out for my injured arch. The polish is perfect. The manicure was good too. Now, after 10 days though I can say it wasn't merely good. It was EXCELLENT. Aside from the usual outgrowth, it looks as perfect as the day it was done. No peeling edges. And here's the part that may actually have me driving to go back....she gets that polish all the way to the edges, even on the sides. You know how some techs just come close? Not her. I recently went for a mani/pedi here and was not happy at all. They were very welcoming and friendly at the start, but the polish job was not professional. Next day, I have polish on my skin around the toes. She layered on the no-chip on my fingers, and didn't know how to do the art design I requested, so the manager had to do it. I chose this nail salon based on some of the reviews here on Yelp. I was attracted by the extra shoulder massage many of the reviews posted. Upon arriving I was greeted and he lady seemed really nice. I was seated with a nail tech who was probably the quietest person ever so it was a little awkward silence compared to the other nail tech working with the other customer that was in the salon. Manicure was fine nothing different from any other place. One thing caught me off guard, after the manicure was done the nail tech called me over to a machine by the sink and I thought I was going to wash my hands. She tells me put your hand in here which I saw was just a pink liquid. I didn't know what it was so I went to put my hand in and it was super hot! I'm guessing it was wax? I told her it's too hot, no thanks. Last but not least, the massage - it was subpar and I would've been fine without it. I was visiting my daughter in Bartlett, needed a full set and decided to do it while I was there. I had a full set put on on Friday, 9/24/21. She charged $60 + $5 for french. By Sunday, the first of my nails popped off while I was opening a water bottle. Fast forward to Wednesday, 9/29/21, and 6 of the 10 nails have popped! I was doing nothing I haven't always done and have had acrylic nails for years. I went to my regular salon in FL to have them repaired and they said all the newly applied nails were lifting and I needed to remove them all or risk getting mold under them. When and if Sue the owner has done my nails I'm very happy but she has some that work for her that just don't do it for me! Walk ins are always welcomed because I've always been a walk in!
