It was kind of hard to locate this place because there was no signage to point us in the right direction. But we soon found it (after driving around like idiots for 15 mins). This business isn't located in a stand alone store, but in a building that is shared with other businesses. As we walked in, Kelly greeted us immediately. She handed each one of us a questionnaire to fill out before we started. After she looked over the questionnaire, she individually gave us recommendations of ways to help problem areas and try to find out where she should concentrate more during the actual massage. From the moment I walked into her studio I felt like I made the right decision. She took her time penciling out my lip line before she got started tattooing. The lining was clean and accurate, she checked in with me the whole time to make sure how I felt about it. She did great penciling out my lips so I trusted her to proceed. We looked at colors, which she has very many of and I chose a pinkish/light red color (mixed two colors together) After the tattoo processing began, I was nervous naturally and of course it hurt just a bit but this is all expected. Robyn checked on me throughout the whole appointment to make sure I was ok! Upon completion, Robyn pulled up a mirror to my lips, I was in complete shock-- I absolutely LOVED my lips, the lining was FLAWLESS. I honestly couldn't believe how great my lips looked. The best feeling is waking up in the morning and looking lively because of my lips. I have received tons of compliments on my lips, sometimes I want to play it off like its my natural lip but I cannot because that means I wouldn't be able to rave about Robyn work. This is still the best deal for your…read moremoney in the area, and although the weekend hours aren't always the most convenient, you will get in and out pretty quickly. This isn't a high end or high tech salon, but it gets the job done, and is great for those on a budget who don't want to end up with some weird infection or bad wax job. Firstly, she will over charge you and come up with prices on the spot that are ridiculously expensive. For example to do a keratin treatment it was 200$ the first two times. Then, the third time (a year later) she said it's 400$ and I told her about how much I paid last time she charge 200 and she said no it wasn't. However I know for a fact I wouldn't pay more since 200 is a lot already! Secondly, the quality of the services she provide is hit or miss but only miss toward the last 5 appointments. She is not good at cutting curly hair and with balayage with darker hair she always left it orange for me and others i've witnessed. I found she is good in the beginning when she was trying to impress a new client and get us to come back but over time she over charged and under performed. Some of it depends on the number of people and whether she is rushing to finish you for the next person which happened a lot! She can split the attention of your appointment with other people if you book on weekends which isn't the end of the world but isn't pleasant and can feel like she isn't paying attention to what she is doing. Lastly but most importantly; the overcharging got out of hand and was taken advantaging of us being regulars. She would come up with a random price and each time it started getting more expensive and once I planned to color my hair she told me 180-250 and then it was over 300. Simply put, it was WAY overpriced since I have paid half or almost half for every service I had at the salon at my new salon. (never got a receipt and was always asked to pay cash) The service wasn't great and the quality was varied.
