Okay so I really hesitated to write this review but I found L Lash room on Yelp and I feel like I…read moreneed to write my honest experience. I would give 2.5 stars but that's not an option. Over all it just seems like a waste of time and money. This was my first experience with a real lash lift I thought I liked the results but I've never had my lashes lifted before so I didn't have anything to compare it to. When I left my appointment and walked to my car, there was so much glue that was left on my eyes and had dried I had to drive all the way home with one of my eyes shut because I literally couldn't open it. Also there was so much glue on my actual lashes as well it took me forever to clean it when I got home. During the lift my eye burned so bad from the glue... idk why but it literally felt like fire. Within a few hours my lashes curled up way too far and some pieces looked curly, and the rest were touching the top of my eyelids. I could not wear makeup without mascara getting all over my upper lids... I didn't mind too much because I tend not to wear makeup when I'm on vacation, but when I got back from my vacation the eyelashes were crimped/ curled and looked horrible like they were fizzled... she straightened them out for me but then I was left with straight eyelashes that only lifted slightly so it defeated the entire purpose of getting it done. I thought the first time maybe she was having an off day so I gave her a second chance.. The second time I went she tried a larger rod and said she wouldn't leave the formula on that long like before. While she was working on my lashes my actual eyelid line was stinging.. she told me that she accidentally glued my lashes too high to the rod and had to redo my left eye. I felt tugging and it felt like some of my left lashes were being pulled out. I can't say I'm positive this is the reason why but my left eyelashes started to fall out within the next 1-2 weeks. I have a gap in my eyelashes now and my left lashes look thinner than my right side. Also by the next morning they were too curly AGAIN and kept touching the top of my eyelids. It looked curled so much that my eyelashes looked shorter. They curl up and around and make my lashes look so short. I spent so much time trying to relax them with coconut oil and thought it was working but I realized it doesn't helped too much... Now as they are growing out some lashes are still over curled and others are crimped.. I read that if you put the rod too close to the lash line the eyelashes can look crimped when they grow out. Which makes sense because that's exactly what happened to me. After it would take days to hear back from her and sometimes she wouldn't respond at all. Her lack of response and help when I'm having an issue with her messing up my lash lift service 2 times in a row is unacceptable. After paying a decent amount of money for a lash lift a client shouldn't have to comb out their lashes 100 times to try to relax them. She always used a rod that was too small. I know I have really strong lashes so they will bounce back but I will not be returning here.

That's some serious commitment. That was more than enough to convince me to try her out. I started using Liz as soon as I moved and have been using her ever since. It has been about 3 years. Full transparency, I have tried other lash services in Chicago over the years in hopes to eliminate making the drive to the suburbs every few weeks. Let me tell you, it has never been worth it. The quality of Liz's services, lashes and technique by far surpass any of the other companies or products I have tried...and there have been many. I finally stopped trying other places because why mess with a good thing ;) For those of you who are reading reviews for cost purposes, I will let you know that she comes in very competitively. In my opinion, where she beats everyone coming in the same range, is the length of time the lashes actually stay on. Most places advertise three weeks, but I have only successfully experienced that with Liz. Aside from my personal love for my lashes, I am constantly getting compliments on the uniqueness of my lashes and the quality. I highly recommend her.

I've been searching for a place in Schaumburg for eyelash extensions. Glad to have found a place…read morethat is close by. Location: It's on the Schaumburg and Roselle, close to Lou Malnati's. Parking: No issues finding parking. It's free parking in the lot. Costs: The costs range from $100+ for your initial eyelashes, varies depending on the type of lashes you select. The cost is less if you want an eyelash perm and less for fillers (~$70+). Availability / Ease of Appointment: I'd recommend calling/email if you have questions and booking via her website. The overall process is easy. The place is shared by different vendors (ie. hair, nails etc) and the spa area which also includes eyelashes is located upstairs once you get into the store. The eyelashes are done in a room upstairs with a comfortable chair that reclines. Claudia is the sweetest and takes her time to ensure that the lashes are looking good. I conversed with her while getting my lashes done but she's open to having you just listen to music, listen to your podcast etc if you want to bring earbuds or fall asleep etc. She also provides advice on how to take care of the lashes and is available via text if you have questions on the lashes. My lashes are straight and short so typically it looks good the 1st day or so but loses its curls easily, maybe from warm showers. However, the lashes have not been falling out easily due to taking her advice on taking care of the lashes. I'd go back to Claudia to get my lashes done but just need to figure out how to keep the curls for a longer time period. :)

I booked with Alana because her work looked good and she had good reviews. I got my lashes done Saturday Nov. 15th, at 2pm. I went to the location and waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes. As I was drafting up my text message to Alana about canceling the appointment because I waited too long for her without any communication that she would be running late, she came out to get me. I went back to Alana's room where she would her son on the floor playing games with the volume up. Nothing was communicated to me that her son would be there. During the appointment, she kept stopping to talk/tend to her son. Then, she ended up putting him out of the room. She took her time on my left eye then rushed on my right eye. The appointment is then over as I'm getting situated in the room, Alana runs and grabs her other client. I got my stuff, checked the time which was 4:25pm and paid. I loved the lashes. They were so cute until they started falling out left and right. The right eye which she rushed on continued falling out. I've never experienced that with the three other lash techs I've been to. I messaged Alana on Friday Nov. 21st, voicing my concern and requesting a refund. To that Alana stated I'm going to conduct a survey for my other four clients from that day. What does my experience have to do with your other clients' experiences? Those other clients could be regular clients, I'm a new client. Then Alana proceeds to say I would rather not fix the problem so I'll just reimburse you. That's fine I didn't want her to fix the problem to begin with, she offered to fix it. Which I was going to decline anyways. After a lot of back and forth and waiting for me, I just requested a refund which she ended up sending at 1:54am, Sunday Nov. 23rd. Screenshots of messages and photos of lashes are attached. If you're a POC don't go here. After re-examining her website, booking site, google page, and instagram there aren't any photos of POC that she has serviced and that should have been a red flag.
