So frustrating to deal with this place. John is a really good nail technician, but he is very busy. I live right next to the nail place so I usually do a walk in when I get the time. Every time I come in I ask him if he can fix my nails or do a fill and he just tells me yeah yeah just sit down so I wait. This is the third time that I've come in asking to do my nails and waited and he passes me over. The last time I came in he ended up sending me to his wife. She is nice but her skills don't compare. Today I came in & told him that my two index fingers were hurting and asked if he could fix them. I have been getting my nails done at Style Nails for well over 10 years now. I drive from Pasadena to Chino every 2 weeks because they are THAT GREAT. I get acrylics and either pink and white powder or just pink powder. They have a HUGE selection of polishes. I love their gel polishes. They always get new and exciting colors. They also do beautiful nail designs and air brushing. I highly recommend their gel pedicures. Lasts AT LEAST a month. And the pedicure massage chairs are brand new and amazing. Never have I ever been at a nail salon and they tell me they can't do my nails the way that makes me happy. They do not even deserve 1 star from me. First of all I always let the nail tech know I have sensitive skin. I had dipped powder on my nail. Usually they soak of the nail in Acetone with a cotton ball. This time they had my whole fingers soaked in acetone for more than 30 minutes and my fingers began to burn. I let them know of the issue and they said go ahead and take the fingers out and you can go if you want. WOW! They said that's the way they always do it. They insisted I just leave because I am being unreasonable some how. They let me know they are not happy to do my nails. So I got up and left without my nails being finished and still having the dipped powder not completely removed. Take a look at my photo. Pretty much they were over booking appointments and they couldn't take care of me at my appointment time and kept taking in other appointments so then no one could help me while my fingers were soaking. Never going back here again and I always have tipped these guys like 10 bucks even 20 bucks when I'm super happy. read more

This is my birth month so it was time for a cute but simple design. I called to make an appointment and John had said that Candy wasn't there. I heard from a friend he was good as well, so I decided to book with him. I get there and as he's starting to work on taking my previous nails off, you could already tell he's in such a rush. Fast forward to the design. I had a simple line design, but he did not execute it at all. The end of his lines fade out of color, my paint overfill into my cuticles, and he didn't clean up his acrylic so there is some stuck onto my skin. I will remind you that my nails are completely dry and the glare in these photos are the acrylic and the top coat he did not clean up. I wouldn't recommend coming here for acrylics unless you book an appointment with Candy. I cannot believe they still have business. read more

Meh might be an overstatement. The inside of this salon is really nice but I've had two really underwhelming experiences here. Most recently I called to make an appointment & was asked if I could come in half an hour early than desired which wasn't a huge deal. So I arrive at 5:45 (15 minutes prior to my appt) & sign in. No one acknowledged me, greeted me, asked if I had an appointment, or gave me an idea of how long I'd be waiting. It was a full 45 minutes before I was seated in a pedicure chair & when I mentioned the water was cold nothing was done so I took my feet out of the water. It wasn't until about 15 minutes later when the woman who would be doing my pedicure mentioned that she needed my feet to soak that she actually realized how cold the water was & refilled the basin. By the time my pedicure was done & I was moved to another station to complete my manicure the place was empty. Other people that had arrived after me had already had services & left. The nail tech actually had lost the polish I had picked because they were rushing to clean up. The station I was at at was covered in acrylic dust from the previous person & actually had chunks of nail tips from previous services. I could feel the dust all over my hands & arms when it came time to put lotion on. To top it all off when I asked for a trash can to toss my empty drink cup the nail tech told me to toss it in the outside dumpster because they had already emptied all the trash cans for the night. Ultimately the owner manager took it out for me. At this point it was after 8 pm (over 2 hrs invested for a mani/pedi) & I was done with this spot. It's a nice salon but unless you are a regular or getting acrylics I don't feel like you get treated well. Also it's a cash only place. read more

I've been coming here for about 6 years now on and off because I don't get my nails done often just if I have an event coming up and for this time it was for my baby shower which is Dodgers theme. I walked in no appointment around 5:40pm for a full set acrylics and pedicure (as I am 36 weeks pregnant and can't reach my toes!) I was seated right away first to get my pedicure, the lady was nice and made small talk like how far along am I, etc but my mom also came so I was mostly talking to her. She was very patient with me as I was trying to recreate a color seen on a picture so she had to take off the polish a few times and was fine with that even though it was the end of the day (they close at 7). After that I went to get my full set and was rushed to be seated as it was about 6:30pm and that's understandable since after a long day at work you just want to leave already. For rushing she did a very good job, the "LA" sign on my ring finger was a little messy since the nail polish was in need of thinning which she was doing but still didn't come out right. That's wasn't a big deal for me as I too was just trying to leave since I left my son home. Overall I would definitely recommend this place 100% I'm always satisfied when I leave. In addition full set is 20$ up and pedicures are 16$ and up for this I was charged 38$ for the full set and 21$ for pedicure. read more

I found out about this place from my hairstylist when I complimented her nails and it just so happened to be right next door to the hair salon. I've been jumping to a few nails salons in the area and I continually find myself coming to this place the most. Firstly, for the convenience of it's location being close to where I live. Secondly, I've never had a bad experience with their mani/pedi services. I've also had acrylics done here and loved the turn out. The workers are genuinely friendly and actually treat you like family. Because of the cleanliness and positive ambience of the place, I truly enjoy coming to this place to relax and pamper myself. I had the worst pedicure experience after having this place recommended to me by a friend. The tub for warm water flooded and soaked the bottom of my purse. The manicurist cut so deep into my nails that my toes started bleeding. She started a callous removal without asking me. ($5 extra) She stopped the callous removal because I was ticklish and decided on her own that I would not want it. But I did want the callous removal. So she stopped putting lotion on, washed the lotion off my feet, finished the callous removal, and then did not reapply lotion. So, I had to ask for lotion to put on myself. And then it took 2-3 attempts to finally get someone to take my payment. All in all, I don't even know what I had done here. I had my toes painted. read more

I got to my appointment and he had just started on another customer and had over booked himself so A woman did my nails ( didnt catch her name ). I will be very honest I was excited that this group of manicurist had a location again because at their previous location the price and quality was excellent. After coming to this new location I've been sadly disappointed twice. The first time I got a full set gel manicure which turned out pretty good but the shape was not even throughout and my pedicure chipped after three days. I tried again this time to take off the acrylics I had for about two months and trying the dipping powder. They are not gentle when taking off the acrylics at all. It was a Saturday and I had a 10:30 appointment. I was there 10 minutes before I didn't get my pedicure started until 10:50. After my pedicure was done I waited another 20 minutes for the manicure. I felt like it was rushed with no attention to my cuticles and the dipping power being on my skin. When I used to go John was at first amazing and I thought it was my go to place, but he would double book clients it's horrible that he would have someone scheduled for a certain time but work on someone else and he would start slacking off as well as give attitude or say horrible things about the customers.
