1.Really bad paint job 2. I was really disappointed to find out that this salon charges a $2 fee just for paying with a card. That may not sound like much, but compared to other local businesses that charge around $0.50, $2 feels excessive more than the 3% they can charge. And it feels like they're charging an extra tip. If you're going to charge an additional fee, it should at least be clearly communicated or posted before payment. So just be aware to bring cash‼ I paid $27 for a classic pedicure + $2 fee for paying with the card and I left a $5tip in cash read more

I went in today for a pedicure only with acrylic and polish. The nail tech seemed very confused as to what I wanted. I showed her the photo multiple times but she was still confused. I had to ask her multiple times to add more acrylic and make the nails longer, and also make the shape more square. She kept filling and drilling and cut me once or twice. Also insisted that once she put the paint on the nails would look perfectly square. Once she started painting, it was too thick and I asked multiple times to adjust it and showed her the picture again. She attempted to mix the colors but it ended up looking like yellow tips with orange polka dots instead. At this point I gathered that she wasn't going to be able to do what I asked for. I politely asked her to remove the paint and I would just pay for what she'd done. As I was getting waiting for the paint removal that is when I also saw the bugs on the floor. Yes there were roaches. I was shocked and just wanted to leave. The owner offered to have someone fix them and do what I wanted the next day but i declined. I wasn't happy with the experience so I just thanked them and went on my way. Sorry to say I will not be returning. read more

I tried giving this salon another chance, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. My gel pedicure bubbled, and when I asked if it could be fixed, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. They redid it, but it bubbled again. What was even more disappointing was feeling like my concern wasn't taken seriously. When I asked for the correction, it seemed like there was laughter and an attitude that made me feel uncomfortable for simply requesting that a service I paid for be done correctly. I paid $107 for a solid gel color pedicure and a Gel-X full set with gel color. While the Gel-X nails themselves didn't come out bad, that's not enough to make up for the experience. As a paying customer, I shouldn't feel embarrassed or unwelcome for pointing out an issue and asking for it to be fixed. Good customer service matters just as much as the final result. Unfortunately, the way my concerns were handled left a bad impression, and because of that, I won't be returning. I had to go to another salon and get my pedicure fixed so spent double at that point so yeah save your buck and go somewhere else read more

Giving this place 1 star bc of their owner. He is absolute GARBAGE!!! Sad because I love Tina & Mina's work but the actual owner needs to get his shit together. The customer service is lacking SO BAD. I waited around for 30 minutes (for my scheduled pedicure appointment btw) which wouldn't have been so bad if there weren't 5+ employees sitting around on their phones doing nothing-- including the owner. They could've easily had someone at least set up my chair so that my feet could've been soaking while I waited. I got nothing. Not even a simple apology for making me wait 30 minutes past my appointment. The cherry on top was once I was FINALLY helped, the owner decided to offer refreshments to the people that had just walked in & waited zero time. Not sure what the hell his problem was but I came in all smiles when I first got here & I only stayed because of Tina. None of this was her fault. Management do better!!! I was trying out other places to have my nails done and this place has good rating. Upon entering, inside was nice. So I have some good expectations. After getting pedicure service, I came out not happy at all. I got pedicure only which is the 2nd on the list the deluxe service that includes scrub and lotion. The lady that helped me was an older lady. She was very difficult to hear when she was trying to tell me something. Im not sure if she's new to this type of work so I was patient to her. During the end when she colored my toes she keeps messing up and when she uses the UV light she keeps hitting it with her knees making color mess up. I dont like to complain in person so I didn't say anything. Here's more of the down side why i was disappointed. When I went to pay the guy told me it was $47 and my mind was like? I thought $37? Maybe they have a new price? I gave the lady $5 tip in card and he told me that there's a fee if you use card or tap to pay so total was $56. I was honestly shocked but I proceeded to pay because i needed to go somewhere else important. It was totally pricey than other places that does a better job than this. I got my nails done yesterday with my mother and they were super accommodating. We arrived at the salon and they took us in right away which was awesome. They were so kind during my appointment and my manicure artist did such a wonderful job completing my request for a design based of a photo I showed (despite my nails being short he was able to make a pretty floral). I did regular hard gel on my own nails. I walked out feeling great but not kidding when i say that the first chip happened 2 days later. And 2 days after that other nails started lifting.
