I am so bummed to write this review because I was really hoping to like this place. It's very aesthetically please inside and close to home. This salon was recommended by a colleague and friend so I wanted to give it a try. I went in for dip mani and gel pedi. My first red flag was the removal of my previous dip/gel. They heavily rely on tools to file down your previous nail job. I am used to having my gel soaked off and prefer this as it is better for my nail health. Using the tool unnecessarily can thin the nail bed. I should have stopped the appointment right then and there but wanted to give them a chance. Next was cuticle removal. Again - no soak! Just pushing them back and clipping. It's been 5 days since my visit and my cuticles look horrible. Then there was the dip application. No builder coat applied and then the sealing of it was not done properly. The top coat is already peeling off and there are hairline cracks in my nail. I don't even know why I paid $108 for a dip mani and gel pedi for an absolutely mediocre job. The pedicure was extremely minimal. The entire service was SO FAST. And the entire time they kept trying to convince me to try builder gel. My friend who recommended this place does get the builder gel, so my guess is going to be that's what they specialize in. They have a 7 day guarantee but I'm afraid to go back to get it fixed because I feel they will just file the nails down again and make them even thinner and I'd rather cut my losses at this point. I just feel I wasted so much money on something not at all worth it. I will stick to my regular salon where they take care of your nail health and the application lasts flawlessly for 3+ weeks! Just updated to one star because a few hours after I posted this, a few MORE nails have started to peel along with cracks forming. Disappointed and frustrated! read more

I found this salon on Yelp (yay), and since it's pretty close to me, decided to check it out. I tried as a walk in on Saturday, and although the wait was probably only 20-30 minutes I decided to just make an appointment for this evening. When you walk in, the place is immaculately clean and has such a cool vibe. All the chairs and equipment are modern and top notch. I got my nails done be Siwen and my pedicure by Mikko. Both were so detail oriented and totally focused on what they were doing. I just cannot say enough great things about the amazing job they did! I feel like a Princess and my nails look amazing. I can't wait to be back there in a couple of weeks! I would recommend making an appointment, because they get a steady flow of walk-ins. I really wanted to like this place and we did have a good experience our first time here. This was our second time here today but the experience was enough to never come back again unfortunately. From the beginning, we felt like we were rushed. Dana ended up doing my pedicure, there was no lotion or massage done. I used to love coming to this location and was even a member at one point, but today's visit was beyond disappointing. The quality of service has clearly declined, and I will not be returning. I received a gel manicure and pedicure. During the manicure, the technician was speaking loudly the entire time, which was extremely overstimulating. He appeared rushed, distracted, and frequently looked around instead of focusing on my nails. When the service was finished, I noticed the gel was bumpy and uneven. Although they offered to fix it, correcting gel polish would have required soaking or filing down my nails further. My nails are already thin from a visit two weeks ago with the same technician, and the gel polish from that service chipped after only one week. I didn't want to be rude by asking for a different technician and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am genuinely unhappy with the results, especially for what should be a straightforward gel manicure. On a positive note, the technician who did my pedicure took her time and did a great job. Unfortunately, I don't get much time to treat myself to nail services, and while this salon is conveniently located near my home, I will no longer be returning or recommending it to friends. read more

The nail salon owner is a detail freak. After applying the extensions, she repeatedly buffed them to ensure a seamless transition between the extensions and my natural nails. From the side, it's impossible to tell if it's an extension or my natural nail--so comfortable! For pedicures, I had to go for cat-eye --so sparkly! It even moves with the light when I walk! The pedicure process was so enjoyable and relaxing. I could do my hands and feet at the same time, so time flew by! I chose purple cat-eye for my toes. It's a new gel polish. I give this place a negative 5 starts! I came here on a whim. I was in need of under arm waxing; as my esthetician was out of the country, I needed a waxing before the weekend. First off, the bed she had me lay on was already used from a previous customer. I told her and she told me it was fine. When she began waxing, I noticed she was double dipping the stick in the wax. I called her out on It and she tried to tell me she didn't do that. She threw the stick away and got a new one and AGAIN, she double dipped that stick. That is down right contamination and can cause bacteria to a client. My hair is growing out and it's really coarse, irritated and slightly red. I'm so disappointed. The salon I go to has never left me like this. In fact, not only does she make my under arms feel baby soft, but when they grow in, I never feel the hairs. It's super thin and so light, they're hardly visible. This was definitely not my usual experience. read more

Got almond shape but the tips were inconsistent shape due to the way it was filed (some more pointier than others). This is my third time coming into CC Moon Nails. They are busy on the weekends and slower mid week. They are a fairly new establishment that opened up January 2025. The owner CC is knowledgeable in the business with over 18 years in the industry. She brings experience from New York over to the WestCoast. So there's really nothing she can't do. You can provide your inspo pictures or let her have artistic freedom. With that being said, this place focuses on quality over quantity. If you're in a hurry speak up and tell your nail tech. Especially if you want CCs expertise. She is a dedicated owner and gets up to charge customers after their services. She also answers the phone each time it rings. So if you are the type that is bothered each time the attention is taken off you, you may want to book another nail tech. Today i spent 3 hour there. 15 mins wait time, 1:45 for my Gel X fill and design, and another hour for my pedicure (i believe it was the deluxe). My gel pedicure today was done by Mikko and she was nice and gentle. She was careful with cutting my ingrown toe nails. She also gives a great foot massage. I take my self care very seriously as a mother and teacher to littles. This nail salon is relaxing with the waterfall and gentle music playing. The beige and white tones provide a serene vibe. They have a variety of services from nails, waxing, lashes, and massage. Their price range varies, from affordable to pricey$$$. I love that my mom who is easy to please can get a regular pedicure while I can pay for the lavish services at the same time. Compared to other places in the area they are a hidden gem.
