I went in today after not coming in for a while. I will say, the quality of service and cleanliness has declined. The quality of my nails wasn't bad, but the overall service wasn't what it once was. When I first walked in, there was cluttered work areas with polish boxes on the counters and carts everywhere. I then sit down and begin getting my nails done. The manicurist did a pretty good job; however, you could tell the files had been used on other clients. The manicurist spent time doing my nails and I did like the way they turned out. However, when I went to pay, I asked if I could use Venmo, to which a male said I could. I had asked him what the female manicurist's Venmo was so I could pay her. I then sent her money in 2 payments as I had a balance in my Venmo. The male then asked if I had sent the money to his Venmo. I explained that I sent the completed payment to the manicurist's Venmo. He did have an attitude and said "it's fine" after I explained my confusion. read more

Update: Having the manager reply with no accountability of their mistakes is bad business. His "apology" is actually covering his lie that he informed me about the GEL. There's no way I wanted two different nail colors. I picked one number from the color book, not two. I've uploaded another picture showing the color I wanted with POWDER polish from another location. They had no problem with matching and I was very happy with their service. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS 2nd comment: it is your job to know what color needs to be used to match. Did you forget you actually told me that I was SUPPOSED to know that I had to pick a different shade to match? That statement is what got me to write a bad review. I'm so particular that I have been driving 20-30 minutes away from home to see the same lady for my Mani & Pedi's since 2020. I am SOOO happy I found a great shop in town! Teddy did my Gel Manicure, I trusted him enough to let him freestyle and he did not disappoint. Wendy did my Pedicure, and she was so gentle and really took her time. I suffer from ingrown toe nails and she was able to remove them without hurting me or cutting me at all! I am so thankful and glad that I came to JoJo Nails! First of all, I've been here a few times. When they barely opened with new management everyone was so nice, so attentive and they managed their time well. I don't get my nails done often so I wouldn't consider myself a regular but I've been here a few times in the past 2 years. Within the past couple of visits, I've noticed the service/ "customer service" has gone down the drain. I went in for Christmas to get them done and the guy that did my nails was nice but based on the work and time put in I could tell he was new. The acrylic was extremely thick and uneven and the design was horrible (I attached a photo of the bad first design). As I was walking out they let me know to advise if I wanted to fix the design (when I hadn't said anything yet). I felt bad so at the moment I didn't say anything but I really didn't like my nails so I contacted them later the same day and they told me to go the next day. The next day I got the worst attitude and felt super rushed. my nails looked better after the fix so I just left. Now the reason I am making this revised review, I went in on Sunday 2/23/25. I called before going in to make sure they had time because I didn't want them to feel rushed. They told me to go in right away as they had time. I got there at around 12:45 pm and went in to get a full set and a pedicure. I was taken in fast and probably waited 2-3 minutes. A very nice lady did my pedicure and she did a good job, but it was not worth $55. I had requested Teddy as I've seen his work and it's "decent". while on the pedicure chair, another male tech started working on my nails. I was going to get acrylic but was asked if they could do gel-x and I said yes. no problem. I asked if they would last as long and they said yes. The nail tech started doing my nails but if you look at the photos he needs a little more training as the gel-x tips are extremely far away from my nail beds. I didn't want to say anything because they looked extremely busy. When the pedicure and nail tips were done they moved me to the chair to get my nail design done by "Teddy". I waited a couple of minutes as he went to the back to eat. I didn't mind at all because I figured he hadn't had lunch. I had previously shown him a design and had mentioned to him it would be my wedding nails. At first, he was okay with the design but when he came back from eating he said the design had big details and it wouldn't be nice or good for my wedding. ok fine maybe he can't do the design, I give him another design. He tried it and I just didn't like it, it looked so bad and nothing like the inspo. So before he cured it I asked if we could do something else. He mentioned it was a good thing I had told him before he did my other hand. At that point, I just went for a simple design.. French tip with chrome. He didn't let me know it would be extra for French tips ($15) and he didn't tell me it would be extra for chrome (another $15). At first, I was prepared to pay at least $100 max for the nails with the design and after we ended with the simple design I was not ready for the price. $85 for that simple gel-x French tip. He added a "$5 discount" and thought that would make it better. I ended up paying $135 for the horrible service and I didn't want to be that person so I still gave them each a tip. oh, and whilst getting my nail design done by Teddy all I was getting was an ugly attitude (and not sure but I think he is one of the owners). and I could tell he was directing that attitude at me as when he finished and sent me to wash my hands he went on to the next client and was super nice and friendly with her. The point of this review is that I DON'T recommend this place. They have bad attitudes and no customer service skills. They lack professionalism and training. The vibe is always off, not relaxing at all; it's more stressful. If you are not a regular, don't expect great service. I'm NEVER GOING BACK!!! oh and based on the other negative reviews they can't take criticism, so can't wait for the response on this review. read more

I went in on Friday at 4:30pm they don't greet to ask you what type of service. Its like you are there to beg them to do your nails. I had to go up to the owner and tell him what i wanted and he asked if i had an appointment and made an ugly face.... i asked for pedicure and manicure well they started my manicure paid $ 55+ $15 for gel. RIP OFF and they dont even massage you well or even cut the cuticles. The salon was slow and i had to ask over and over again to get my manicure done. Bottom line DONT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY! they are RUDE and have no customer service skills. EVERY WEEK I WAS SPENDING $ 130 WITH TIP AT THIS PLACE , IM TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE ! read more

This place is okay. The smell of acetone was intense. My friend and I kept asking them to open a door window or put on a fan. It's literally blinding. They seemed completely desensitized to it. Probably years of ingesting it. My appointments was noon but my nail tech didn't start until twenty mins later. The work was ok. Nothing special. Taking stars off for lack of professionalism! Haha yikes! The fact is I called and asked if noon would be okay to switch the appointment. The response should've been we can take you at 12:20, instead of that's fine. Also, whatever five filter system you have isn't working. You may want to check the filters. On second thought won't be back. The response should've been reflective and improvement instead of blaming customers. Learn customer service. read more

They are very meticulous, patient, and they make sure you are happy at each step of the process before they proceed. I requested oval gel-x nails and was so happy with the end result each time! No issues at all with chipping or lifting (and I kept mine on for 8 weeks before I finally accepted it was time to take them off haha)! As for the location itself, parking is easy and the interior is clean and cute. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze (I do so via text) and pricing is very fair in my opinion.
