I would say a little pricey for their gel X manicures, especially if you want to get designs on each finger (it's about $15 per design per finger). Other than that this is still a great nail spot! I got a class pedicure ($35) and a gel X manicure deep french w/ a nail repair ($95). I requested a Gel-X fill but unfortunately left with uneven nails of completely different lengths. The technician, Ashley, rushed through the process. I have been here a few times before and always found their services to be organized, comfortable, and welcoming. This was my first disappointing experience, which is a shame given my history here. No stars.. I have never had a bad experience at glow nails in chino but 9/17/2026 I went into the salon and asked for gel x by Angie and a Gel Pedi. My Pedi was very nice but the polish wasn't applied evenly creating a chunky look on my big toes. On top of that my gel x wasn't placed on correctly. There was space I could put my other nail down into between the gel x and my real nail. Angie asked if it would be ok to just fill in the space with more gel and cure it...I declined,VERY UNPROFESSIONAL as if I'm not paying $60-70 for my nails. I'm very frustrated in the time that was wasted,I just had a baby so I had planned it out perfectly and was excited and then the job was not done correctly, I feel as if every time I go I always get elite nail techs and never have to double check and can relax, but at this visit I saw my nails turning up and noticed something was wrong. I'm not sure if I will return to this salon again, and I'm disappointed as I just moved to the area. She was in such a hurry to clip my nails off. I came here because I saw that Kim had amazing reviews for pedicures. Unfortunately, I'm convinced there must be multiple people named Kim working here, because the person I got was absolutely not the same one described in those reviews. From the moment I sat in the chair, I knew this pedicure was going to be bad. After I specifically asked her not to dig into the sides of my nails, she continued anyway--using tools that were not disinfected and pulled out from a drawer she kept hidden. She ended up cutting me, and instead of addressing it properly, she kept stretching my toes in ways they are not meant to stretch and repeatedly applied random products to stop the bleeding. As someone who is 8 months pregnant, I had to ask what she was putting on my skin, and she could barely understand me. I asked the gentleman at the front if there was more than one Kim working there, and he said no. There is absolutely no way this is the same Kim from the reviews. The experience was rough, careless, and honestly concerning. This was by far the worst pedicure I've ever had--and for $65, it was completely unacceptable. I'm very disappointed with my experience here. I arrived at 4:55 PM for my 5:00 PM scheduled appointment. The facility itself was clean, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not what I expected. I was charged at 5:38 PM because they were already closing the register. I'm not comfortable being asked to pay when my service wasn't even halfway finished. I also found it very frustrating that, on a day when temperatures reached 102°F, the AC was turned off about 10 minutes before closing. The salon closes at 6:00 PM, but I didn't actually finish my appointment until 6:28 PM. By the time I was done, the temperature outside was still 98°F, so the salon became hot very quickly once the AC was turned off. There were still seven other customers receiving services, and one customer even said out loud, "It's hot." The door was then opened, but the salon remained very uncomfortable. My nail technician brought a small fan for himself but nothing was offered to the customers. I understand that the salon closes at 6:00 PM, but if customers are still being serviced past closing time, I believe the comfort of those customers should still be considered. Since moving from LA, it's been incredibly difficult to find a nail salon that meets the quality and artistry I was accustomed to. I was so happy when I found this place. The nail techs are talented, pay close attention to detail, and consistently do beautiful work. Unfortunately, I developed a nail fungus on one of my nails, and during subsequent appointments I noticed they continued using the same tools on my infected nail before using them on my healthy nails. They also dipped the same polish brush into bottles after using it on the infected nail. That raised serious concerns about sanitation and infection control, and it made me question whether the salon follows the cleanliness standards it advertises. Another downside is the pricing. While I generally feel the quality of the work justifies the cost, I was surprised to be charged an additional $10 for filing during a fill. Filing is a necessary part of a fill because the nails have grown out, so it feels like a basic component of the service rather than an optional add-on. Charging extra for something so fundamental comes across as excessive. I genuinely like this salon and want to continue supporting them because the artistry is excellent. However, I believe the sanitation practices--especially when dealing with nail infections--need immediate attention, and some of the add-on fees should be reconsidered. This was my first visit here and I'll definitely be coming back! I got a French tip gel pedicure, and Mina provided such a great overall experience. She was incredibly patient while I decided between different nail styles -- no attitude and no rushing, which I really appreciated. I'm usually uncomfortable during nail appointments because some nail techs can be a bit rough, so I have a hard time fully relaxing. That wasn't the case here at all. Mina was gentle and attentive the entire time. It's also common for me to be asked to constantly move my feet in and out of the drying machine, but this was the first place I didn't have to do that, which made the experience feel seamless. My skin is heat-sensitive, so I especially appreciated that she didn't just place a hot towel directly onto my legs right away and tapped it a few times before setting it down. I decided to treat myself for an upcoming special occasion. I looked this place up and decided to make an appointment with Nancy after reading reviews about her work. Nancy was professional and explained that I can get gel x which helps me grow out my natural nails. She was able to answer all my questions about the difference between acrylics and gel. I decided to get square shape on her suggestion, but realized after I left that I can't do much with this shape. I use my hands a lot so took some getting used to. I DONT recommend square nails! I also got a pedicure. I had not been here before so I was able to get a 10% discount as a first time customer. I also paid in cash so was able to get an additional 5% savings. Total with discounts was $88 not including tip. This isn't a "usual" shop. It's glitz and glamor and lots of ambience and extras. I usually do my own nails but decided to pamper myself and go to a nail shop. My whole family happens to need some mani pedi done so I decided to join them. First thing that kinda threw me off is how regular manicure does not include option for hard gel, so for manicure you get the full set of cleaning cuticle and such but for hard gel you have to pay extra $5+ for cuticle cleaning. I don't understand because why would you not prep the nails correctly and treat cleaning cuticle (which is the very basic prep imo) as an addition or extra especially since the price point is already higher by $10? Anyway I want a hard gel because I have a thinner nail, but don't want to pay the extra $5+ for what I feel supposed to be included already. But I understand, business practice differs. So I choose my inspo and before we started I told the technician that I had 3 options and she had only need to choose the one she was most comfortable with, cause I want my inspo to at least be 80% identical and not just some temu version of the actual inspo. The result was not bad and I would say it hits almost 70% similar but the attitude the technician had was a little off-putting. My inspo was kinda like matcha latte idea. She did my left hand first and I liked it, very close to matcha color, but when she started doing my right hand the color was too light and closer to pistachio color instead, I kept telling her that the two hands color are not the same and she told me in a way "well I use the same tool and everything so it is impossible to be different". I even asked both my sister and they agree both hand are not the same color. I can't even understand someone who do nails daily can't tell the difference in color or just chose to ignore it. So I told her okay whatever just make my right hand to be like the left hand. And she proceeded to continue doing the wrong color on the right hand and make my left hand to match the right hand when I told her I liked my left hand color as is ‍ Also, since she used airbrush and the outlines of my nails especially on the matrix has green paint residue that cant come off. I also have some part of the gel is pooling. I could tell she was kinda pissed off at me because I asked her to correct. She was already not so friendly to begin with then she started giving me attitude when I told her that was not I requested. Thing is if you do it right in the first place then there would be nothing for me to complain about. The only good thing I can praise from this salon is the friendly front office staffs and the complimentary drink. But those can't even justify me to come back. And I spent $85+tip to look like I just dipped my whole hand into shrek colored cheetos and the crumbs would never leave me. read more
