Since moving from LA, it's been incredibly difficult to find a nail salon that meets the quality and artistry I was accustomed to. I was so happy when I found this place. The nail techs are talented, pay close attention to detail, and consistently do beautiful work. Unfortunately, I developed a nail fungus on one of my nails, and during subsequent appointments I noticed they continued using the same tools on my infected nail before using them on my healthy nails. They also dipped the same polish brush into bottles after using it on the infected nail. That raised serious concerns about sanitation and infection control, and it made me question whether the salon follows the cleanliness standards it advertises. Another downside is the pricing. While I generally feel the quality of the work justifies the cost, I was surprised to be charged an additional $10 for filing during a fill. Filing is a necessary part of a fill because the nails have grown out, so it feels like a basic component of the service rather than an optional add-on. Charging extra for something so fundamental comes across as excessive. I genuinely like this salon and want to continue supporting them because the artistry is excellent. However, I believe the sanitation practices--especially when dealing with nail infections--need immediate attention, and some of the add-on fees should be reconsidered. I usually do my own nails but decided to pamper myself and go to a nail shop. My whole family happens to need some mani pedi done so I decided to join them. First thing that kinda threw me off is how regular manicure does not include option for hard gel, so for manicure you get the full set of cleaning cuticle and such but for hard gel you have to pay extra $5+ for cuticle cleaning. I don't understand because why would you not prep the nails correctly and treat cleaning cuticle (which is the very basic prep imo) as an addition or extra especially since the price point is already higher by $10? Anyway I want a hard gel because I have a thinner nail, but don't want to pay the extra $5+ for what I feel supposed to be included already. But I understand, business practice differs. So I choose my inspo and before we started I told the technician that I had 3 options and she had only need to choose the one she was most comfortable with, cause I want my inspo to at least be 80% identical and not just some temu version of the actual inspo. The result was not bad and I would say it hits almost 70% similar but the attitude the technician had was a little off-putting. My inspo was kinda like matcha latte idea. She did my left hand first and I liked it, very close to matcha color, but when she started doing my right hand the color was too light and closer to pistachio color instead, I kept telling her that the two hands color are not the same and she told me in a way "well I use the same tool and everything so it is impossible to be different". I even asked both my sister and they agree both hand are not the same color. I can't even understand someone who do nails daily can't tell the difference in color or just chose to ignore it. So I told her okay whatever just make my right hand to be like the left hand. And she proceeded to continue doing the wrong color on the right hand and make my left hand to match the right hand when I told her I liked my left hand color as is ‍ Also, since she used airbrush and the outlines of my nails especially on the matrix has green paint residue that cant come off. I also have some part of the gel is pooling. I could tell she was kinda pissed off at me because I asked her to correct. She was already not so friendly to begin with then she started giving me attitude when I told her that was not I requested. Thing is if you do it right in the first place then there would be nothing for me to complain about. The only good thing I can praise from this salon is the friendly front office staffs and the complimentary drink. But those can't even justify me to come back. And I spent $85+tip to look like I just dipped my whole hand into shrek colored cheetos and the crumbs would never leave me. read more

This was my first visit here and I'll definitely be coming back! I got a French tip gel pedicure, and Mina provided such a great overall experience. She was incredibly patient while I decided between different nail styles -- no attitude and no rushing, which I really appreciated. I'm usually uncomfortable during nail appointments because some nail techs can be a bit rough, so I have a hard time fully relaxing. That wasn't the case here at all. Mina was gentle and attentive the entire time. It's also common for me to be asked to constantly move my feet in and out of the drying machine, but this was the first place I didn't have to do that, which made the experience feel seamless. My skin is heat-sensitive, so I especially appreciated that she didn't just place a hot towel directly onto my legs right away and tapped it a few times before setting it down. I decided to treat myself for an upcoming special occasion. I looked this place up and decided to make an appointment with Nancy after reading reviews about her work. Nancy was professional and explained that I can get gel x which helps me grow out my natural nails. She was able to answer all my questions about the difference between acrylics and gel. I decided to get square shape on her suggestion, but realized after I left that I can't do much with this shape. I use my hands a lot so took some getting used to. I DONT recommend square nails! I also got a pedicure. I had not been here before so I was able to get a 10% discount as a first time customer. I also paid in cash so was able to get an additional 5% savings. Total with discounts was $88 not including tip. This isn't a "usual" shop. It's glitz and glamor and lots of ambience and extras. So, I've been here a couple times. This is a one-off, but it's also the last time. I'll tell you, everybody is really nice, the salon is very clean, open, and air. I do recommend... some of them. First, I came in with a not impossible disney design (poison apple). But I scrapped it in favor of red and gold. Now, I wanted a red. But not this red. In fact, I didn't get to choose any of my colors. The gold nails were supposed to have a pillow design. First, and I thought they would know this, to do a pillow design, you use a nail file to press down into the acrylic paste while it's still soft to create a diamond pattern. She used the clear gel and dropped it into diamond shapes on my nails. While they DO look like diamond shapes, they are also different sizes. Secondly, the gold color. SHE chose a glitter gold to put on the nails, and it completely took away from the diamond pattern. It should've been a matte gold. Again, I wasn't even asked. Then I wanted red stones in the diamond shapes (like the sample picture). I told her red stones. Well, I'm not paying attention and she's already put white stones on one hand and is getting ready to start the other. She said she forgot the red stones. My gold pillow nails that I was very excited for, don't look ANYTHING like I asked for. It felt like she rushed through it because it was the end of the day. read more

I really wanted to love this salon since I recently moved nearby and was hoping to find a new regular nail technician. Before booking, I specifically called and asked if they had someone experienced with acrylic toes because I do not have toenails on my two big toes and wanted someone knowledgeable and comfortable working with that situation. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was just placed with whoever was available, which already felt disappointing after I had specifically called ahead. What upset me most was the lack of professionalism and customer service. I politely mentioned that I wasn't happy with the shape of one of the nails and simply asked if it could be reshaped. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the technician became upset and walked away, leaving me unfinished. I actually had to ask if someone else was going to complete the service. As a licensed cosmetologist for almost 20 years, I understand that not every client will love everything immediately, and adjustments are a normal part of customer service. That interaction was honestly shocking to me. The salon promotes customer satisfaction heavily throughout the salon and on their TVs with Yelp reviews, but unfortunately that was not the experience I received.
