I took my daughter here each time as a well deserved reward for a straight A report card and we have been back many times over. Thank you Johnny for the beautiful set of nails with spring flowers that she loved so much and a shout-out to Katie for your TLC pedicure. My daughter was extremely happy each time. My first time with this salon for gel manicure and pedicure were great with no incident. I liked it so much I tried to schedule a nail appointment today they left me on read and never responded even after I reached out 3 times. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. I had high hopes for this places because I thought everyone was kind and the place was nice. Oh well, good luck though. Edit: you only responded after I left the review. Please don't lie or I will post the conversation as reference to this review. You also only apologized after your initial response was to state the price in bad taste and under the assumption I may not afford the pricing instead of offering appointment times. You left me on read 3 different times this morning. I gave you ample time to respond. Your direct message and this comment you left on my review reflect two different responses. You seemed genuine in your DM to which I was considering updating this with a bit of a correction but now reading this response, I will keep it as is. Have a nice day Johnny. read more

Snow performed my pedicure today and it was fantastic! I had stubborn rough feet and she worked her magic to make them feel the softest they ever have. I did the $44 pedicure with the $8 paraffin wax. There was a 10-minute massage included that made me feel so relaxed. I appreciated that she used a timer because it's the worst when they cut your massage short. I walked out feeling great. Will definitely go back. read more

Went in exactly 1 week ago for a gel pedicure and gel manicure. I have been looking for a nail place for a year since I moved to chino hills so I wouldn't have to be going to my usual spot in Downey. My pedicure was done by Snow and she was so courteous and did an amazing job. On the other hand my gel manicure was not the greatest. It was done by Trin or Tran I can't remember her name. The polish came out wavy which has never happened to me but even at that I tried to love it. Yesterday after 6 days my thumb nail polish started getting caught in my hair and today it began to lift. I'm not sure what went wrong there. I may consider going back but will definitely not let her do my mani. read more

Can't believe I have rated them sooner! Sorry guys! My husband and I love coming here together. He gets a relaxing pedi with Linda and I do gel mani/pedi usually with Katie or Kimmy. Came in for a dip powder mani. If you're a regular staff is nice ,if not ,they are not too friendly I waited 20 min , the older lady that did my nails had just come in, she dropped her keys on the desk, roughly started to take of nail polish, twisted my fingers around ,she was just pretty rough with me. I won't be returning to Lush nails. Good luck to you friends. read more

First & last time going here today. I called in before for a pedicure, spoke to Christina. She was rude in person yelling at me because in person I added on a pedicure for my daughter. I decided to leave immediately after no one acknowledged my daughter 20 minutes after saying we want a wet pedicure. My feet had been soaked & cleaned. I was so upset I left without polish. So many other places are happy to have children as customers. Upon trying to pay their payment system malfunctioned & the man owner(wouldn't tell me his name) he even told me "something wrong w yo phone. fix it" i did have my toes cleaned by Kim so I paid $33 (no polish) Christina (& I'm guessing her man) didn't not deserve any of my money especially after being treated so disgusting. They obviously don't like children being in there. My daughter left upset, saying "mom let's go somewhere else that guy is being mean to us." Sad. Even the elder woman to him stop, don't argue with her. I'd suggest they mop their floors & scrub their tubs. I hope to not get foot fungus from this place. Not sure if it was miscommunication amongst staff but it's sad how much more help they need. Look at the other reviews, they don't know how to treat customers. Obviously have something against children. YIKES. The least that can be done is an apology to my daughters for the trauma caused yelling "PAY" to a broken software . Smh UPDATE: my toes hurt. Later the day of my pedicure, I noticed my nails hurt. Today, two days later they still hurt & itch.. I sprayed them with alcohol but ew. read more

The best pedicure I've ever had. My tech spent a lot of time giving me a massage and cleaning up my cuticles. It was not rushed at all and was very relaxing. The only thing that was bothersome was that the AC wasn't running but I'm also not native to CA and get hot easily. This place is very neat and clean and the service is great. I had a pedicure here 2 weeks ago and my nails still haven't chipped on regular polish. Highly recommend! read more

It was supposed to be a fun day with my friend. I don't get out much. I asked her to not trim too much. She trimmed them down so short they are wider than they are long. Her response w was that they will grow. She told me the lump on the side of my toe was a callous that needed sanding. It was not. I now have a dime-sized blister there that is extremely painful. Hoping it doesn't get infected. Horrible experience. read more

I am new to the area from NorCal and needed to find a new salon. I stumbled upon Lush Spa and I'm so happy I did. I didnt appreciate the rudeness of the nail personnel, she insulted me by saying I have dry skin and she nicked my finger. I didn't appreciate that they keep talking in Vietnamese, they seem to be talking about me. I will not go back to this nail salon. read more

I'd been searching for a nail salon for awhile now. After being let down by other salons that overcharged and didn't listen; I've finally found what I was looking for in a nail salon. When you walk in everyone is super friendly and welcoming. This was my second time to Lush and I have been completely happy both times. Helen was my nail tech for both visits, and she is very detail oriented, and works quickly. I took in an inspiration photo but wanted stiletto shape, and Helen achieved perfection with the help of the owners to get the color just right. read more

Recently moved to chino hills and have been looking for a nail spa. I think i gound the perfect one. Taking appointments to getting the job done everything is a breeze. Was hesitant to give a 5 star review after my first try cause if the next time i go might get a novice technician and a horrible experience. But it's not true with lush got my nails done 3 times now from 3 different technicians and all did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend this to all friends and family. Long overdue update. Due to the pandemic and having to move further away from Chino Hills I wasn't able to get my nails done with my favorite nail tech; Johnny. I ended up getting my nails done elsewhere for my engagement and got a fungus infection. It was so horrible that I needed it off asap. I took a drive and visit Lush Spa Nails for help and was super lucky that they were able to squeeze me in. Johnny helped me remove the bad acrylics and cleaned up most of the bad nail plate and cleaned my cuticles. He recommended not putting any chemicals or doing anything until my new nails grows out. It's been a couple of months and my nails are finally growing out normal. Thanks again Johnny! I can't thank him enough. read more

Good service. This was my first time at this nail spa. The place was fairly clean, they were efficient. My nail tech was Katie. She was nice and calm. She did what I wanted based off of a picture. My only gripe I have is they charge for credit card and they're fairly unhappy if you tip them using card. Unfortunately I haven't carried cash since the early 2000s. read more

I've been coming to Lush Spa nails since they opened. In fact, 3 years ago I moved to LA and every few weeks I still make the drive to Chino Hills to get my nails done (mani and pedi). The product they use is unmatched. It's all very high quality and you can tell. My regular manicure will last me 2-2 1/2 weeks. And I've tried a few different nail salons in LA and Chino Hills, including some very over priced ones. Their service is always so welcoming and friendly. I have family that still live in Chino Hills and all come to Lush. They go for eye brow waxing, Kristina is amazing! Dip powder, see Johnny! My go to nail tech is Katie, she is just the sweetest and always takes such amazing care of me. I have met with other techs as well during my time going to Lush, I also highly recommend Linda. So many colors to choose from and I also recommend getting at least the DeLush Pedicure. I always leave there feeling pampered and relaxed. read more

I give this salon 5 stars mainly for the story I'm going to share. I went to get a simple pedicure. After I sat down it became clear quickly the person who would be helping me was new. The other employees were telling her what to do and she was trying her best to keep up and had a friendly attitude the entire time. If there's one thing I appreciate, it's new employees who really try. She and I chatted about the city and personal things like work and her children. She was so sweet. She was also meticulous and took her time with my entire pedicure. Unfortunately, the finished result was really quite poor. It could've been nerves, it could've been experience. We all start somewhere and I could tell it wasn't due to lack of effort. Craftsmanship comes with time and practice. I hate making waves and didn't know how to explain I wasn't happy with it after we had such a nice bonding time. I just trusted when it was over my toes world look fine, so I didn't look at them until they were complete. I considered asking for a discount instead and I'd just leave with them as is. I spoke with the manager and he had someone else touch up the pedicure and repaint my toes. Great. Understandably the other techs seemed somewhat frustrated to have to step in. But it did need to be done. It was a bit awkward and uncomfortable that they made her clean off the wet paint from my toes for another nail tech to redo them and was reassigned to washing towels. This was a missed opportunity for a learning moment, in my opinion. But, they were busy. I could tell my original tech was embarrassed and felt very badly. After my re-do pedicure, I spoke with her to give her some encouragement about her abilities and to hopefully not break her confidence, as it seemed no one was going to address the issue or help her understand where she could improve. As a working artist, I understand deeply how terrible it feels to try your hardest, think you did well, only for everyone to tell you the opposite. Do it again. Figure it out. I shared some kind and encouraging words and apologized for having to say something. We hugged each other and she was a little emotional. I want to give props to the salon overall because although I could tell the rest of the staff were frustrated with her, it's a clear indicator that they do care about their clientele and their performance. I commend them for giving a chance to newer nail techs. We all start somewhere as I said, we just need jobs to take chances on us. Thankfully that's what this salon is doing. Please keep her on your team. Her attitude and kind disposition does wonders for your business. THAT is just as important. Once she has her skills down, she will be a star employee for your salon. I hope they remain patient with her, help her, and continue with kindness. It's the best thing to do with people who try hard and are genuinely good hearted. Which this nail tech was. She will get there. The salon also gave me a discount for the inconvenience which I did really appreciate. read more

*putting my chubby toes out there* Honestly this salon was so clean, professional, and overly relaxing. My sister and I did a walk in and only needed to wait about 10 minutes to get sat down. That's a win!! Will definitely be returning here again. Thank you Lynn I belive who did my pedi. *pics of great prices* read more

I could never say enough good things about this place!!! I moved to Chino Hills at the height of the pandemic and was lucky enough to come across this gem as my new nail place. The inside is always clean and I'm always greeted with a smile. Johnny is my go to guy for my dip manicures. The nails in my picture are my REAL nails! He always manages to keep them long and healthy and his attention to detail is always on point. The other owner Kris is also so talented and friendly and I'm always impressed by her ability to multitask while keeping a smile on her face. I also bring my boyfriend and 8 year old son with me for their maintenance manicures and pedicures too and they're so gentle and comforting! I always schedule appointments but even when I don't, they manage to accommodate me and do such a good job every time. read more

I came in with high spirits for a dip powder set and a pedicure. My pedicure went great and then I was sent to Amy for my dip powder set. I told her what I wanted with a great attitude and a smile on my face. In return I was greeted with a terrible attitude and from the jump she was rough with my nails. Why are you filing my skin?? After it was visibly red she still went in with the machine and went over the same spot (my SKIN) and made it bleed. After an empty apology she still continued to be rough knowing I'm sitting there about to cry, my hands were shaking because I was so angry. I really wish I had a great experience but it was far from that. read more
