Under new management. The salon was empty and this may be why. Not a good way to treat good clients. $40 for basic mani-pedi less $2 for cash is $38. She tried to charge me $58. Happened to stumble upon this nail shop while waiting for my rental car at Enterprise. Stephanie was able to take me as a walk in. I didn't have any specific color in mind but I just looked at their Yelp pictures and tried to copy an old photo. The gel manicure was really good! My hands didn't feel hot under the gel light too. Walked in today (Tuesday) and was seen pretty quickly but the work was not my favorite. Stephanie seemed like she was in a rush and I tried to point out that my left thumb was crooked after she shaped them and she just swiped the file over it twice and said it was fine now and suggested it was my viewpoint that made it look bad. She nicked two of my fingers and on my French tips, she left some white behind as she removed the white with acetone to create the tip. ( it's one of my pet peeves) I understand I was a walk in but if they are going to rush through the work that their customers are paying for, just turn me down next time. You also cannot add tip to the transaction but I used the atm. Even though I was super disappointed in the quality I still believe in paying for services done and tipping for service accordingly. Anyway, I will never return and frankly I want to take this full set off already and I am writing this in my car right after I paid. Bummer. read more

Great place for nails! Clean, professional and friendly. Took my last minute request and got me with pro nail tech Lani/Laney? for my pedi! I got a French pedi and she got into the crooks and crannies of my big toe nails and zero injury! Quite impressive! She also understood I like it super short and let's just say she understood the assignment. Mt toes and feet felt super clean. She's a legit pro and doesn't upsell just because. So my wife comes home with what looked like a great manicure from Q Nails. But within 2 hours the dip on her nails began to fall off, first one nail then about 20 minutes later another nail lost its dip. She tells me this service is called a powder dip black color and costs $38 dollars. She then called the nail shop and spoke to Angel and that didn't go so well. While I'm sitting there looking at the fallen nails in a plastic bag, I overhear Angel tell my wife that she didn't believe a dip could fall and continued to be very rude on the phone, after a brief conversation Angel tells my wife that you can come back to the shop and have it fixed. So today (2 days later) my wife goes in to have the nails repaired. Immediately she catches attitude from Angel about not having an appointment and to have a seat and wait. My wife waits and is eventually seated. Once seated another employee begins to help her and while doing my wife looses another nail. The employee gasped which caused Angel to come over the table and tells the employee to shush! Then starts talking to the employee in their native language. My wife finally had enough of this process and rudeness and asked for her money back. Angel gets in my wife's face and says then "give me back my nails" as if those are real options in a situation like this. Angel continues to yell about my wife coming into my her shop playing games and causing problems. My wife had to tell Angel several times to get out of her face. So at this point it's obvious that Angel lacks proper management and customer service skills. So after about 2-3 minutes of Angel yelling like a crazy person, in a full salon, My wife was able to have her 3 damaged nails repaired. My wife came home and was hot!!! I've heard other people complain about the customer service here and even cautioned my wife about going here even though her friend recommend she go but just to be prepared for some rudeness. Funny to me how you ladies will put up with poor customer service, ignorance and poor management all for the sake of convenience. I have not had my nails done in over a decade, decided to treat myself and get back in it. Started going here regularly earlier this year and in June I brought a potential new client. When I went to pay and mentioned their website offer of 15% off both services the nail technician consulted with another woman who said they could offer me 10% off. I let them know the website showed 15%. They then offered me 15% off one service. Frustrated at that point, I said I would pay whatever they were going to charge me, but that is not the offer on their website. I looked at my receipt later and they did the right thing and gave me 15% off both services. Sadly the fact that they wanted to negotiate their website offer disappointed me, made me feel uncomfortable in front of my guest and left a bad taste in my mouth. With so many other nail salons in Chino Hills we did not return and took our business elsewhere. Interestingly enough after finding a new nail salon I noticed differences right away that resulted in not only a better experience, but cheaper prices. I told the female nail tech that I wanted a gel manicure and she insisted that I go with her plan which was acrylic materials first and then gel on top. My nails were so hard, like cement.
