I visited this nail salon on a Friday early evening (445). I got right in for a mani and gel pedi. The person that did my pedi was Mimi. The person that did my gel mani was "Lee". PROS: Clean, accommodating and they offer you a drink(including alcohol) for free with any service. They have quite the selection of colors and services including lashes, waxing, gel x etc. the salon itself is nice and feels pretty relaxing and the place is modern with chandeliers etc. my gel was thicker than I would have loved, and I got no hand/ arm massage with it. The previous gel I had on he soaked off but I'd didn't all come off on the corners. For my pedicure it was just ok. It was also thick I did see her shaking the polish beforehand but still too thick. She was pleasant though aside from all the laughing and joking she was doing with her colleagues. CONS: the staff are very friendly with each other. This isn't a bad thing but they were laughing and joking with each other, eating and chatting and carrying on a lot. This doesn't make for the most relaxing experience if you're trying to unwind. I'm glad they seem to enjoy each other and are having fun but it's not that professional. The music was good though but the tv station was a bit weird in my opinion( meditation/ mantra zen stuff). Not sure I'll return in the future. Verdict is still out. read more

Just had by far the worst experience in my life with a nail salon. I booked an appointment with Jayden for full set. When I got there he was working on someone else. They asked if they could start on my pedicure which I asked if I would be out within an hour still and Jayden said yes so long as I got one color which I agreed to. Jayden started on my nails 40 min after my appt time which was 4:30. He asked if the length was ok, I said yes to the first nail which he practically started cutting before I could really process it. Then cut the rest but filed so short. Before he even finished filing I told him that the nails way too short. He then got aggressive and started saying that I chose the length and I said yes I did because the first was fine but he kept filing them down and that he was rushing. He then got louder and stated he was rushing because I had to leave by a certain time. I told him that I would cancel my next appointment and to just redo them and take his time. He continued to tell me that I chose the length and I'm rushing and I reminded him that he was technically the one rushing because if he would have started at the time I was scheduled then he wouldn't be rushing and I would be out on time. He said it wasn't his fault, it was Teddy's fault because he double booked him. I told him I understood. But he proceeded to repeat that I chose the length and I'm rushing. I was done going back and forth with the unprofessionalism and asked him to remove my nails and he no longer needed to do them and I would go elsewhere. He said ok and stayed quiet. Then once he was done removing them he started the arguing back up again stating it was my fault because I chose the length. I calmly responded, that I wasn't going to start back up again and wasn't going to argue with him anymore he them he stormed away. This tantrum was unprofessional and embarrassing. To top it off, they charged me to remove my gel from my nails still on top of making me wait 30 mins and me not doing any acrylics! I have never experienced something like this at a nail salon or any other service I have received. I will also never be returning to this location. Pretty shocked at their reaction from their mistake for double booking. ****UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE**** First of all, you do not need to ask me to not come back, because I already said I would never return. Secondly, you did double book me. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30, Jayden did not start on my nails until 5:05. If Jayden wasn't double booked, then he would have started at 4:30 when I was scheduled, correct? On top of that, I wasn't even in your appointment book. They said I didn't have an appointment, I showed them the text messages, and that's when they called you to confirm. That is called double booking. Did anyone apologize for this? NOPE. In regards to me NOT telling you I needed a full set. Maybe you should be asking your customers what type of service they need rather than assuming. I did not go anywhere else to get a fill because half of my nails broke off so I removed them myself. You are lying and assuming I had acrylics removed. The issue was that you double booked Jayden, Jayden rushed to do my nails because he started almost 40 mins later after my scheduled time, and cut and filed them wayyy too short before he could even start placing the acrylic powder. Which is why I told him beforehand that they were extremely short. This was all within the first five minutes of him starting my nails, so no he did NOT "waste a bunch of time." In my text messages, I asked you for a pedicure and manicure, and they've ALWAYS done them at the same time. Since when do we need to say they need to be done together? Again, you are assuming. In regards to me canceling appointments, that is a complete lie. I have never canceled my appointments. We exchanged several messages last week in regards to available times and I had chosen one, but that same day I messaged you to cancel my requests because I couldn't get my schedule to work with the times you offered. This is the only time. Me choosing my color has nothing to do with how unprofessional you guys handled the situation yesterday, and continue to do so with your response. I am sure I am not the only client who is indecisive about what color I want. So tip of the day if you are considering to come to this salon, DO NOT COME IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT COLOR YOU WANT. Never once did anyone apologize for not having me on the calendar or making me wait 35 minutes past my appointment time. I was never upset up until the end when Jayden was yelling at me. Instead of defending your business by making up lies about the customer, you should take accountability and act professional. Just some things to consider when running a business. read more

They are pretty busy and because of that I think they take customers for granted. I went twice, first time there was a good experience. Second time they had a lady do my nails that was obviously not trained to do Gel X . My nails were left clumpy, crooked, and the design was nothing like what I asked for. When I left they even said if they fell off to come back. I did not plan on coming back . My daughter's charm fell off so we did end up going back to get that fixed. First time going in and I finally found my new nail place. They are very affordable compared to other places here in chino/chino hills area. I paid $55 for a full set and I'm so happy with my nails. They don't seem to charge extra for the length but they do for the shape. They are very upfront about their prices and honest about the prices as well! I didn't get my nail techs names but two of them did my nails and both of them did such a very good job. I'm very happy because usually everyone at the other salons I've gone to do the almond shape crooked and here both techs did it amazing I'm very happy. I will definitely be going back! I was impressed also to see how they do French nails on other customers which I was scared of so I went with a safe option but even that they do get correctly! When I arrived they were a bit busy which I did not get upset that they asked me if I can wait 30 minutes to get my set done as I am a walk in and they do prioritize appointments. This was my 1st time getting Gel X Nails. Honesty one of the worst sets I've ever got and to have to pay $65?! I should of gone else where after she couldn't even give me a estimate or price quote, granted I understand depending on length and shape. Okay I still go and and give them a try but I wasnt even offered GelXNails or acrylics. I was just given gel X. She did not clean my nails up under or clean up the cuticle area once she placed the nails. No clean up from the gel that spilled out under the nail. Today, I took a leap of faith and tried out this location and let me just say it was the BEST 1st visit. I was welcomed as a walk-in by Wendy, who did my pedi. Then by Jayden, who started my nails, then had Teddy finishing with the color. Mind you, this was all at 930a, bright, early, and their vibes were cheerful and welcoming. This my second time here with my sister and it was a terrible experience. They're understaffed, rushed and inexperienced. JoJo tells people to come in when they're clearly too busy. I think someone new, Tom, did my sisters nails today because even the customer before us threw a fit in the salon because hers looked horrible... now I see why. I think JoJo does a good job when she's not rushed because my first set as really nice. But not this time. The nail polish is bumpy on mine and the polish is smeared on my sisters.
