I gave this place a couple of chances, unprofessional last time I went there I had three cuts on my toes, bled quite a bit and Sandy still charged me for the pedicure I was very upset but I still paid her leaving with bleeding toes and in pain! They don't have the mid-day happy hour specials anymore. The most basic pedicure is $15.00; it's no frills, no hot stones, no hot towels, nothing to drink. There were only 3 gals in there during today, so it was a bit of a wait. I wish they would get a bug zapper, or swat those pesky flys at closing time. The idea of flys getting in around the manicure stations doesn't seem very hygienic. read more

Not happy at all. I was referred by my friend and we both went in on Saturday. We both wanted nails and pedi but unfortunately they were understaffed so they sat us apart. One for nails one for pedi. I was there for a fill and color change. Sandy removed all the gel, filled my nails and then filed. She didn't ask me to wash my hands before the color application as my hands were full of loose powder. She proceeded to color on top of the powder making it appear very bumpy and bubbly. She was in a rush since they had scheduled someone to come in at the same time they started working on me and the girl (sitting next to me waiting) was becoming upset. I noticed the horrible paint immediately and complained but Sandy shrugged it off. Long story short I was charged $30 for a horrible fill and paint job. I did not waste my time with a pedi from them. I hadn't had my nails done in quite a few years so, I picked a place close to my house which, happened to be Sandy's Nails & Spa. My first trip in February was a good experience however, on my second trip this past weekend it was pretty painful! Sandy cut 3 of my fingers by the quick and I'm still in pain 4 days later. There was one other customer besides me and five people working there, all on their cell phones for an hour and a half which, is how long it took to do my nails and waxing. Found this nail salon through Yelp and Google reviews. I do admit reading about gel nails cracking and other issues In which I decided to ignore. I thought maybe it wouldn't happen to me lol.. It did. The day after getting my gel nail set, all of the gel on both of my finger beds was extremely cracked. I called the next day to get this fixed but wasn't able to come in until a few days later. The interior is nice... Very accommodating as far as scheduling an appointment. The woman who did my nails was nice enough. But honestly, their work was sub par. I like my nails short and natural looking and they came out the. Exact opposite. They were chunky, uneven, misshapen, and much longer than I requested. I don't know about their acrylic or pedicure services, but this was my personal experience with their dipping powder services. I only went because my normal shop was booked up and I promised a friend I would take her to get her nails done while she was in town. I disliked my nails so much, that I removed the powder myself the next day without any real effort. That will teach me not to just wait for my normal girl at my tried and true shop. read more

I had a horrible experience here! I made an appointment 3 weeks ahead and was at the shop 10 minutes before they even open. The owner shows up and takes another woman ahead of me I felt that was the worst customer service and being the owner she should have known better. I drive all the way from Covina to get my nails done here because I'm allergic to most acrylic.
