Horrible experience. This place is disorganized, overbooks appointments, and the staff is rude. I left very disappointed especially since this was my first time getting my nails done five months postpartum, and I was really looking forward to it. I had an appointment at 11:30 AM for a dip manicure and pedicure. After a 10 minute wait, I was seated, then waited another 30 minutes before someone actually came and started my pedicure. While getting my toes done, I asked three different technicians about my manicure--one had no information, one kept saying someone would come (no one did), and another said she only does pedicures. No one apologized or acknowledged the delay. After waiting OVER AN HOUR, someone finally came to move me, probably just to free up the chair while I continued waiting for a manicure. I would have left much earlier, but I was there with my friend who was in the middle of getting her nails done. At that point, I declined since it had already been too long. It is highly unprofessional for not one single person to come and check in with me or even apologize for the excessive delay. I think if there was any sort of acknowledgement I would have proceeded to get my manicure. I would not recommend wasting your time here. read more

I usually come to this place often but I'm questioning to go back or not due to one of the new nail techs making me bleed from doing the callus removal to hard with the sponge, she was rude too I had told her please stop it's hurting me and she just laughed at me. I was not aware they snuck in a $5 charge for "gel" treatment. I only asked for the basic manicure for $25. I was then told on my second visit that they wanted to charge me $5 to remove the gel. I refused and asked if they could glue a larger diamond emblem on my nail and they refused saying it wouldn't come off without using the gel treatment. I ended up tipping Tracy $10 only because it was my last visit there. They push fur this "gel" treatment because they only want to boost their revenue. Don't be fooled by this! You DON'T need the gel to have a basic manicure and the added diamond emblems WILL come off of you don't get the gel! read more

Definitely need to treat all races of clients the same way.I made an appointment at 12 for 2pm with my granddaughter. I noticed several people placed before her service .Finally she began her pedicure .She was asked if she wanted a full set instead of a manicure. She said yes. Five minutes later I noticed more walking clients come in and get services. I asked why are they getting services before the appointments. The manager said she will have to wait because she change the services. The manger was rude when I complained. I have been a patron for years although I have heard of stories from other African American customers. Today was the first I gave experienced. Unsanitary practice by the employee. Aside from her being rude since the beginning, she did not care when I told her that using the wrapper for my callus treatment was not okay. My wife had to tell her technician to tell the coworker to remove it. She tried using it on both feet. My wife has brought me here for over 5 years if not more and it seems that the place only has 1 or two ladies that are awesome otherwise everyone else is just trying to rush and can care less. Let me start by saying that is my very first time visiting Love Nails, and I must say that I've had the most amazing experience! I've been to multiple nail salons before in the past, and this location is now my top preference! I came in for a regular pedicure w/ gel, and I got Helen as my nail technician. Helen was extremely sweet throughout my entire experience! She was very detailed by making sure to remove my ingrown nails and excess dead skin! I literally just left the salon a few minutes ago and I am incredibly pissed off. I went into the salon for my 3:00 appointment with my sisters and my mother, 3 mani-pedis, one full set, and one dip. Everything was going great, my sisters and my mom were very happy with their nails, I was sat down first and finished last... she only gave me ONE coat of color and it did not look good against the light (very see through), I was not happy. On top of that I was absolutely baffled and upset to see the price for such a crummy job.... My younger sister who got a full set got intricate detail in every nail and was less expensive than mine and reasonably priced! Mine was incredibly BASIC and was charged double than hers!
