11/2/24 Well, the search continues for Hubby's gloves to alleviate the pain & stiffness on his hands. Good spacing on the aisles, clear, staff putting out Christmas decor & merch. We're in luck coz we found a pair that looks suitable for his hands. He picked it, paid for it & we're done! So far so good, Hubby was skeptical at first but it seemed to work. I wish I could leave 0 stars. The lack of customer service is a contribution to why these kind of corporate retail stores end up doing better online. I stood at the register with 4 "employees" within sight and they stood around "making themselves busy" for quite a few minutes to the point I had to "ring the bell for service" even though they all very obviously seen me. Not to mention, once someone made it to the register, there was no greeting, no eye contact, not a word, rang us up and then up and walked away to grab a manager. All while we sat there waiting. It wasn't until the "supervisor" came over to explain the system had crashed. My instant fix to this is to buy online, which contributes to sales going down in store which leads to the store shutting down and leaving us with more empty retail spaces that bring no economic mobility to the community and are a eyesore for all to see while inviting criminal activities and trespassers. Please rehire better people in the floor Especially in the check out. The people who work here are rude. They don't have CS skills, they won't even bother to help you with anything. Saturday, I came here to grab some orange tag sales, it rang original price the salesperson only said no the price is not on sale, then I tried putting my digital Walgreens savings for some of the advertised deals she said, we don't do the digital savings today. If I could give Walgreens Pharmacy on 19th and Carnelian a less than one star review I would. Unfortunately, it is not an option. As of yesterday, my son and I were first time new customers of Walgreens Pharmacy in Rancho Cucamonga on 19th and Carnelian. It was our first time using their Pharmacy, since our pharmacy Rite Aid unfortunately is closing. I don't know if we're going to continue to partake of their services in the pharmacy. We are both very upset and disenchanted by the manner in which my son was treated. I was told that my prescription would be ready yesterday at 3:30 p.m., when I call the pharmacy earlier in the morning. I sent my son to pick it up in the drive-thru. When he arrived, he was told that it was not there. That didn't make any sense to me since I had already confirmed it that morning. I then asked my son to go inside of the store, and go to the pharmacy counter. Upon his arrival he waited in line for 10 minutes. When he got to the front of the line, the pharmacy employee had the audacity to tell him they were closed and closed the door on him! This was absolutely unwarranted, disrespectful, and utterly unprofessional! I'm beyond upset that I did not get my prescription, and even more upset of the manner in which my son was treated and everyone connected with it. The manner in which you treat customers, is never forgotten and will either be appreciated if you are treated well, or demonstrative of the rudeness that you are exposed to by the ill treatment of someone else. I called the manager and complained. The manager humbly apologized and gave me the contact information to get in touch with the store manager, which I plan to do today. I also plan to contact the corporate office and file a complaint there. The way they treated my son was completely horrible and the egregious behavior of the pharmacy staff member was completely undesirable. Is this how you treat customers? I am a small business owner. If I treated my customers like this, I would not have any. We are seriously considering moving our prescriptions elsewhere. Rite Aid aid has always given us the best customer service in the store and the pharmacy has always been above and beyond superior. Oh my God...the previous reviews weren't lying about how horrible the customer service is here. I just stopped by to pick up an item, saw it was not stocked on the shelf, then turned to the employee working in the aisle to ask, verbatim, "So sorry to bother you, but is this item out of stock?" She literally started laughing at me wearily like she was annoyed that I disrupted her from her shelf stocking, and ignored my question. Middle aged lady with blonde hair and glasses, I don't know what I did to offend you during the ten second exchange we had, but please keep your horrible attitude in check. I get you're probably worn down having to work a customer service job during the holidays (I know, we've all been there) but I was nothing but polite to you. Have a great holiday, and hope you get the rest you need to keep working this job that you seem to hate so much. The level of incompetence in this pharmacy is astounding. They never have anything in stock, they put you on long holds, and some of the staff is extremely rude. It is a 2 minute drive from my house and has a drive-thru, but I prefer to drive the 15 minutes to another pharmacy rather than deal with this headache. read more

I Walgreens quite often and tonight is the first time I experienced really poor customer service from a person named EMILY who claimed to be the store manager. I made a complaint to the corporate office customer service and am awaiting a call back, I am anxious to see how that goes. Emily expressed that she wasnt concerned with my making a report to corporate, so we'll see if this has to be taken a step further. This is very disappointing to me because i like shopping at Walgreens stores. Hopefully they will prove to be a company that values their customers and takes customer service seriously. read more

Their communication is the absolute worst! They are constantly giving me misinformation about when a prescription will be ready or that they'll call back, or that they will call your dr etc and it has never been true. I been shopping here lately because they have some really good deals on a wkly bases, so I created a Walgreens account started buying items to get points or Register rewards in other words (Walgreens money) so sometimes I come out with lots of stuff paying a few cents, so today I had some issues with my coupons not attaching so luckily I caught it before I left and came back in the store and Judy was so helpful and awesome, the manager Christian came over and helped her with my issues, without a doubt I will coming back! read more

This place is absolutely filthy. Asked a pharmacy employee if they had cleaning people and was told no, that the employees in the pharmacy have to do their own cleaning. I can tell you it does not get done. If you want rat droppings and and fur in your meds then check this location out. Floors have obviously not been swept or mopped in ages. Walgreens is earning this review and rating for the pharmacy. The worst employee in the pharmacy is named Tamika. She's unable to communicate on the phone, makes statements that apparently I'm supposed to know are questions that need answers, can't find a prescription, and requires you to call back and talk to a different human. They also don't start working on your prescription until you show up at the drive-through window to pick up your prescription,. If you are unlucky enough to be there at the time of their meal break, they simply close the window shades and walk away. They've asked me if I could please circle around because my prescription is not ready so they could help the person behind me and then allowed that person to remain in the window for 45 minutes. When you finally do get your planets to align and you're in the window and your prescriptions ready there is an offputting lack of eye contact, smiling, or Customer Service, instead I am forced to interact with a staff that clearly doesn't want to be there either. read more

I went thru the drive thru scheduled COVID test, i was on time! One of the pharmacist clearly seen me and ignored my presence. She told me rudely she would help me when she was done! I was one the phone with them at my house and they picked up and i asked my prescription status and they sighed and hung up on me. I drove over there to get in the drive through line and called back, took them 15 minutes to answer, a girl answered and told me that my prescription would be ready by 9 and to pick it up in the morning even though it was urgent. I had been using Walgreens Pharmacy for many years they were good I don't know what happened as the incompetence in filling prescriptions has become appalling... I have to have some pick-up my prescriptions as I am in a wheelchair & transportation is a problem. I called & they said all my prescriptions were their except for 3 which the Doctor would call in I asked them to hold what they had as I would send an aid to pick them up the next day I even called the night before & told they were all there My aid goes to pick them up & there are only 2 prescriptions out of 7 and not only that one of the 2 prescriptions was wrong. I called back & the manager was no help & was trying to blame the person that picked my prescription up for their mistake after I was told by the manager they were never filled. I called twice the night before & a few days before that to make sure all would be there as I have to pay an aid to pick up my prescriptions so I do verify by phone I don't appreciate being lied to & to have to call back and again having to send someone to pick up my prescriptions a 2nd time because of Walgreens ineptitude and at additional cost to me I am on a fixed income Last month they were short 1 Prescription because the clerk dropped it on the floor and did not see it so again incompetency Beware of this pharmacy ..just awful customer service I will be switching to another pharmacy for my next refill read more

Going through the drive-through pharmacy today I watched all the staff in the pharmacy wearing gloves, exchanging money, counting pills. Walking back-and-forth for about 10 minutes before even acknowledging my presence. Not one time did they change their gloves while counting pills exchanging money and touching prescriptions. They also must use their phones to count pills because I saw a lot of them on their phones which is just very very odd to me, very poor customer service not to mention why were gloves if they're not even going to change them. I scheduled my 2nd booster vaccination and answered all of the questions on your scheduling website along with your online form. I was alerted by the CDC that I am eligible for another booster. On 5/14/2022, I was turned away by the pharmacist, Alexander L and pharmacy technician, Tamiko. Alexander informed me that my illness does not meet CDC guidelines for the 2nd booster. I showed him my CDC notification about my eligibility as well as pointed out that the Walgreens site indicated my illness DOES meet eligibility guidelines. Alexander said he is not comfortable giving me the booster and recommended I try other pharmacies. This made me feel as though the rules are different elsewhere and he simply did not want to serve me. I asked for any additional information like his manager name? They don't currently have a pharmacy manager. The store manager (Mimi Nguyen) is not here - she doesn't work weekends. Email address? No - just a phone number. I found out the district manager is named Nick. I asked for his contact information and was DENIED any phone number or email contact information. I'm extremely frustrated!!! Why is there such a huge disconnect between CDC and your pharmacy? Why does your COMPANY WEBSITE INFORMATION differ from your store pharmacy?!? read more

Bad customer service. I bought some medicine yesterday that came in a bottle with a pump, Walgreens brand. The pump didn't even work so it wouldn't dispense anything. I went back today to purchase the name brand medicine instead. It was locked so I pushed the customer service button. Stood there for 10 mins as the manager walked around doing absolutely nothing. He looked at me a few times, didn't come over to help. I pushed the button 10 more times before he finally came over to unlock the medicine. Horrible customer service. Went to the cashier to return the defective medicine & purchase the name brand. She returned the medicine, no 'sorry for the inconvenience' and when I was finished with my purchase & I said 'thank you' there was no response. She just turned to the next customer. Rude. read more

I have been coming to this Walgreens for years to fill prescriptions for myself and my family. I come here because it is convenient to my home and they have drive-through service. Most of the staff is pleasant, but there is one pharmacy staff-member named Tameka who is ALWAYS, ALWAYS rude and bitchy to me, and I often wonder what it is that I've done to cause her to have such animosity towards me. But since I am a pretty friendly and polite person, and drive up to the window without a hidden agenda or fierce look on my face, I am always taken aback when she snarls her replies during our exchanges. With a tight jaw and narrowed, "You and me...in the alley at midnight.....bring your switchblade!" eyes, she gives me the shivers! In fact, one time I thought I saw her approaching me at dusk on the sidewalk and I gave a little shriek, but it turned out not to be her, thankfully. I've come to the conclusion that she is just an unhappy person in general. Even so, I come there often enough and always seem to have the luck of having her materializing at the window (even when there are 8 others hovering around), that I have switched most of my prescriptions to another pharmacy that delivers. I do need to continue getting one or two filled here, so I will have to encounter her sour attitude at least once per month, but at least I won't be looking over my shoulders everywhere I go (as much). read more

I was at this location lately picking up a prescription at the pharmacy and unfortunately encountered a very rude and unprofessional associate. Her name was Tamiko. I waited for 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. When she did finally help me she was abrupt in her actions and words . She asked me some information and when I gave it to her she gave me a suspicious , chilling stare as if she didn't trust me. i've been in retail management a very long time and this is not good and professional customer service especially in the pharmacy . We are paying customers and should not feel like an inconvenience. I was just in this location and my mom had a question about vitamins so she asked the lady that was working in the pharmacy and instead of helping my mom or speaking nicely to her. She was rude, not helpful at all, and told my mom she should not take vitamins without a doctors consent. They were just everyday vitamins.... She told my mom she could not help her. I came here to get a prescription filled because the CVS I typically use, was out of what I was prescribed. From the phone call to check out, every person I came in contact with in this pharmacy was rude and unwilling to help. As previous reviews mentioned, they never billed my insurance and so I asked very politely if they could do that before I paid. The young lady at the register literally grunted and rolled her eyes as if I was asking her to go above and beyond. I know people have bad days (and it was busy), but when almost every review on here is complaining about lack of customer service, and just the lack of courtesy towards others, it should be a wake up call for management that there needs to be some change. read more
