Pharmacy staff needs work. Dropped off prescription at 10am. Was told it will be ready for pickup at 1pm. At 1pm I hadn't received a call saying it was ready so I called to check. I was told that they have to call the doctor that prescribed my medication to get their license number. My prescription has been there since 10am and it's now 2pm. Like what have u knuckle heads been doing with my prescription the last 4 hours. read more

I like that this Walgreens is a drive thru pharmacy but it ends there. They have been unhelpful most times. They wanted 600 for a medication not covered. I asked could they look for a manufacturer coupon. The tech said no. Went down the street to Ace in upland and in 10 minutes they applied a coupon and my medication was 65. read more

I love Walgreens in general, because they are always clean, have interesting merchandise, and friendly professional staff. I chose to rate this Walgreen's because I've stopped by here a few times recently, and it's always been great. Their staff is friendly and nice. moved had to change to a different Walgreens. Was already upset to leave the store I went to for years. But today was my first time at new Walgreens on 6701 Carnelian st in Rancho Cucamonga. Worse Pharist I have ever come across. Called first to transfer . Pharist NGO told me they had the same system for all Walgreens and that I did not have available any prescriptions to pick up at any Walgreens to be able to transfer. I told her that I'm looking on the website and it shows available to be picked up and I already called the other Walgreens to confirm that it was ready and they told me just to have it transferred over to this new one. That lady argued with me told me I didn't know what I was talking about that no prescription was available and none has been billed to my insurance. So I called old Walgreens and was told it's still ready to be picked up. So went to new walgr showed her on my phone again she told me I as wrong. Guess what it was as availabl. I don't old her she needed to apology to me and the other Walgreens for her mistake and she laugh and rolled her eyes at me. I'm 63 don't need to be treated like I'm a liar or the other pharmacy. Been coming here for a long time and all of a sudden I don't show up in the system?? Called in a prescription refill Weds Jan 29th 2020 using the automated refill process that has worked for a year with no problems. Did not receive a prompt text reply stating the prescription was ready for pickup or that it would need to be approved by my RX for refill. I called in Friday Jan 31 2020 to check on the status and was met with the RUDEST, SHORT-ANSWERED person I think I have ever dealt with. It was apparent I was inconveniencing her by making her have to pick up the phone to actually help a customer with questions. TAMIKA / TAMEKA / TANIKA / TAMIKO and/or how she has given her name differently over the phone (Obviously due to past complaints) needs to be addressed. If you don't like customer service industry you need to move on to something more suited to your terrible demeanor and attitude...... like a collections agency...... you would be perfect. That being said, Tamika? rudely and shortly said on the 31st my scrip would need to be sent in to my DR for refill. OK thanks. I call today Mon Feb 3 2020 @ 1300 hrs to check status. Guess who again with the terrible attitude as soon as they answer the phone..... After a couple short/abrupt/obviously irritated answers to my questions causing her to actually do her job..... "We don't show you in the system" and that they would have to send it over to my DR for refill. I tell her I have been coming there every few weeks for over a year, and remind her that I spoke to her the previous Friday (When I was obviously in the system) and she had already told me she was going to send the RX to my Dr for refill, which obviously had not been done yet. All of a sudden her answer was that it WAS sent to my DR for refill and they were waiting on his response...... Interesting....... So which one is it? Both answers can't be true, so which one is the lie??? I write this review not for whatever her name is to see, because I know she does not care about customers since she has been mentioned by name since 2017 and obviously has not changed, but in the hopes management or corporate will see this and do something about her. I give the store and pharmacy 5 stars otherwise, but this TAMIKA / TAMEKA / TANIKA / TAMIKO knocks them down to a 1 star. read more

It took 3 trips to get my online order of Christmas cards to print correctly. Apparently, it doesn't print exactly as it shows online from home. I was told to come in and use their kiosk to print. That was another hassle, but I did it because I wanted cards. In the end, the product was OK, not great, but passable. The photo quality is not great. However, on the plus side, they gave me my cards for free and $5 of store credit for all of the hassle. Both men that worked with us in the photo department were patient, kind and helpful. 5 stars in customer service. 3 stars in photo quality. read more

Love the store, but the pharmacy is a mess. Forget the fact that they never have what you need in stock, forget that they are rude (EXCEPT Mike, he is awesome and one of the reasons I kept going). They make mistakes, small ones and BIG ones. Such as putting an open bottle of morphine among my autistic sons medications. Then not hearing back from them for DAYS and when I did, the pharmacy manager calls with an attitude, SHE is the one who put my son in danger with her negligence. We have been going to Walgreens pharmacy on 19th and Carnelian in Alta Loma for many years. Don't know what is going on with them lately but the service is terrible. We went to the drive up to get our meds. The clerk asked our names, got our meds, set them down on the counter and left. We waited and waited. She looked at us a few times, saw my husband looking at her and waving and she did nothing. Never came back to let us know why it was taking so long. Maybe she was new..who knows. Finally after 23 minutes a lady came over to the window and asked if we had been helped. We said yes, our meds are sitting right there! The other clerk got them and just left! The new clerk apologized. Seems nowadays businesses are having trouble getting good help. The service there seems to get worse and worse every time we go. We constantly see new people work there but they don't seem to stay or know what they are doing. read more

Alex and I waited over 25 minutes for an attendant to help us with passport photos. We only needed an employee code for the self-help kiosk. After the helpful front register cashier made 4 intercom calls for Cindy, Customer Service, etc...with zero response...we ended up reshelving our groceries and just leaving. I used to visit this Walgreens monthly to pick up my medication however I have now changed Pharmacy's. most if the staff is very nice however the girl named Tameka is the must rude person I have ever met. She always treats me horribly when I pick up my medication. Her attitude towards me is completely unprofessional and acts as though I am bothering her when picking up my medication. I've been a customer at this location (Rancho Cucamonga, CA on 19th and Carnelian) since it has been opened. I come in at LEAST 3-4 times a week. The managers are NOT the friendliest since the others left. They don't speak, they walk around seemingly miserable & not very interactive. The girls at the register talk entirely too much about their personal lives with one another when they are dealing with customers. Today, I go in looking for the newly released Flonase. I ask the girl DENISE at the counter if it was in yet.. Her response, "Oh, I don't know. I don't think so". THANKS DENISE for NOT knowing YOUR job. So, I walked to the back of the store to check for myself. I didn't see it and asked another girl.. Her response.. Another ridiculous case of "I DON'T KNOW". I'm baffled by the lack of knowledge these girls have about their store. They work there.. I SHOP there. I shouldn't hear I DONT KNOW.. "Let me find out for you" OR "Let me check" would be deemed acceptable. When I returned with the product I advised the clueless and unconcerned DENISE they had it in case someone else asked. Her response.. "Alright". No, it's "THANK YOU". It seems as though all the GOOD employees (except for a few decent ones) have disappeared and we are left with this terrible customer service. My parents just moved to Rancho Cucamonga. They had such wonderful service with West Covina's Walgreens Pharmacy they decided to use this one. I just witnessed the worst customer service from Tamika. I was told to come back in an hour to pick them up, and when I got ther 1.5hours later the girl said that they weren't ready yet and I'd have to come back in 20minutes, Which was exactly when the store was closing! Lost my job of 20 years. Shopped on Internet for lowest price for necessary medication. I get there and they don't honor the Internet price. They wanted $20 more for the prescription. I was asked to go another line, I then was asked to step back in line as they had 1 line, then I was asked to go to another line. I can barely walk. What a bunch of crap this place is. I went in to fill some prescriptions one of them they could not fill and apparently they could not call to tell me. after two weeks they still did not have it when it came time to refill the prescription I told them that I will be paying for it on my own they seem to have no problem being able to fill it and then I told him I had online coupons that would take it from 300 down to under $100 that's when the fun began. they could not get past the fact that I was going to pay for it myself with online coupons, then they said they did not receive The prescription from my doctor for the refills so I had my doctor send them another one, then he told me insurance will not pay for it because it was too soon there again I told him I would pay for it out-of-pocket they screwed it up so bad that my doctor cannot write me another prescription. When you walk in there, They don't acknowledge you being there. When they do they yell across the room at you that'll be there shortly then let you sit and wait. They're more concerned with their profits than helping get a prescription for customer. They have turned my medical situation into a complete nightmare I will never shop Walgreens again I will not even purchase a stick of gum there, these people are complete idiots and should all be released from their jobs and competent people hired to replace them. Don't find out for your self. Look at the ratings and my issues I had. It's not worth it, just go across the street to Rite aid and see if they can get it correct read more

I want to complement the staff at this Walgreen pharmacy. I occasionally visit this location when I'm in the area visiting my son. There has been times when I've had to transfer my medications to this store. And I must say that even thought I'm not a regular the staff members are really nice and courteous. I was there some time ago when I witness a very disturbing incident with an extremely rude customer giving one of the staff members a very hard time. I could see the young lady was trying her best to accommodate this person. I use to work in the sales business and I've experienced people just like that customer that no matter what you say or do there's no satisfying them. What amazed me was that after dealing with that rude customer the young lady, I think her name is Tamico, she took care of me. I let her know that I was sorry she had to put up with that kind of unfair treatment. She smile and said thank you but it's not the first time and it won't be the last. People like that rude customer must be living a very miserable life and they get satisfaction making someone else's life miserable even if it's for a moment. read more

Terrible experience today, will NOT be going back. My kid's pediatrician sent in an electronic prescription around 10:30am and I go around 12:30 in the afternoon to pick it up--they say it's not ready for another 40 minutes, so I come back after 2pm and then they say they have no record of it! I had to call the doctor's office and then had to wait another 20 minutes. Then they incompetently handle my insurance info (I had up until now come to this pharmacy many times in the past and they should have the insurance on file) and I ended up having to pay full price out of pocket. Horrible customer service and super slow. I'm going elsewhere. read more

Love this place!!! They make me feel welcomed and comfortable. One of the managers even helped me pick out a hair dye when I was stuck between 2 colors. He know how to do a good job and the main manager knows how to run a store!! I do miss some of the old staff but I know sometimes its jus out of your hands when they have to transfer read more

This review is only towards the pharmacy. I have never had any issues with the store itself. I have given this store numerous chances but have continually been let down. The first occasion my doctors called in the medication order and when I showed up they said they had not received anything. After days of going back and forth between them and my doctors office they finally found it. Another time they said I was already in yesterday to pick something up. I told them no I was not in. After asking the lady twice to take a second look she miraculously found my prescription. No apologies to me at all. Another time my husband went in and they told him I was already in and picked up a three months supply. Which is not the case as my insurance does not cover a three months supply all at once. I went back the next day and they said yes they did have ready for me. Today I went to see the doctor for a cold. She sent the prescription over and when I showed up the lady said she had no record of it. I asked if it would help if I brought in the paper that shows my order. She shrugged and said I guess if you want to. Seriously? Once again I had to wait in line. She tells me it will be 45 minutes. At this time it was around 6:30. I tell her I will come back and she tells me it will be ready at 8:30 which is clearly longer than 45 minutes! She simply gives me the excuse that they are busy. I am completely fed up with this place and will no longer be using them. read more
