My girlfriends and I took a trip down to dance at a festival over the weekend, so we decided to get our nails done so that they are performance ready! There are numerous nail salons in this area, but the first place we went to had a super long wait. So we came here and got seated immediately. We opted for the combo mani/pedi. We sit down, get our feet soaked, and choose our colors. It is busy, but the workers seemed efficient in the way they timed finishing up one client and starting another. I never get my nails done, only for special occasions. This is probably my 5th time ever getting them professionally done. It's always so interesting because I don't look Vietnamese, but the workers quickly caught on to the fact that I could understand them talking to each other. Aw man, can't listen in on the gossip anonymously anymore! My technician, Hang, ended up being super sweet, reminded me of my mother back at home. She found it so cool that I dance professionally. We had a great conversation and it made the time go by quickly. She also did a great job on my nails. I didn't do any fancy gel or acrylics. Just a simple bold color on my toes & fingers for the weekend. Prices are, predictably, very affordable and my fellow Bay Area friends and I joked that we should only get our nails down in SoCal. I've been coming to this place for 16 years! Since I was young, I have been so self conscious about a scar that gave me a gap in the middle of my left eyebrow and no eyebrow specialist have been able to cover the scar. Ok, I just moved to the area and wanted to try a local place. I work in manufacturing so I'm not allowed nail polish or fake nails. I feel because I didn't want nails or gel they rushed me in and out with no care to the finished product. I've been working in manufacturing 20 years and am used to the weird looks in the salon when I say just shaped no polish, etc. But I've never had the experience of having my nails come out like crap because they couldn't upsell me. read more

Okay, so I've been coming to this nail salon since I was 14, I'm 31 now and the experience has never been better! Every time I come there's always something new to try. Today my mom and I went in for a pedicure and we were so surprised to learn that they have a whole new regimen! We received the best treatment! Our techs took their time to ensure everything was perfect. They used a sugar scrub and a cream treatment that helps the skin and it actually relieved my neuropathy. Wonderful massage from knees to toes. Hot towels were used afterwards that make the cream treatment work even better. Aside of the fact that I wasn't expecting any of it when we walked in, we were given a heated eye mask, lavender scented, to relax and enjoy the ride! When I took it off.....OMG! I felt so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! Idk what was in it but that was a wonderful experience. The only thing missing was a glass of wine When I mentioned it to the owner, Miss Cindy, queen of Nails, the best nail tech and the only person I let touch my eyebrows, she said you got it! This has been my nail salon since I first started getting my nails done in high school. However, for the last few months their service and work have been awful. I've stuck around since I wanted to stay loyal to the location. After catching an infection on my finger I knew it was time to say goodbye. On my last visit the man doing my nails cut not one but three of my fingers while removing my cuticles. After cutting the first finger I thought he would be more careful, but he continued to carelessly do my nails. By the end of my gel mani I had 3 cut fingers. It's been 3 days since my visit an now one of my fingers has an infection. Wetting my nails is painful. Stay away from this nail shop. They have poor customer service (I still paid for my mani after all of those cuts) and their work isn't good. If you do decide to visit this nail shop you HAVE to have your nails done by Cindy (owner) otherwise it won't be worth your money. read more

I came here once before today and it was good enough I went back. But today was not good and it wasn't that busy to not do things right. I paid $50 for the good pedicure because my feet and legs are sore since I am 8 months pregnant but she didn't massage me at all. I also said I wanted my nails cut because it's hard for me to do it myself and after I left, I realized how crooked they were cut and they were barely trimmed and left very square looking with very sharp corners. I'm now going to have to go to another salon to get them redone since I can't cut them myself right now. I really wish I noticed this before I left because I wouldn't have paid $50 for this. I love this salon. My mother and I have known Zack for 6 years now and have been with him since he first started doing nails. We are very loyal to him and have followed him even from a previous shop he was at. Since then I have gotten my nails done by Zack, Cindy, and Meme and I highly highly recommend any of them. They all have their own way, but regardless your nails will turn out perfect each time. Because this salon is filled with highly skilled nail techs it can get busy during peak hours, past 530 and the weekends. So don't expect to walk in and out in 30 minutes. If you do that anywhere else I would question that salon. Don't get upset that people are good at their job and become popular. Overall I will always recommend this staff to anyone. Although my nail tech made a good attempt at the design I asked for I was over charged. I went in for a fill and what I believe would be considered a simple design. No jewels no technical art, simple swirls. I have never in my life paid more than $40-50 for a fill max even with the length of my nails. Upon paying my tech quoted me for $70. Most places charge $70 for a brand new FULL SET. I was in shock. When asking "$70 for a fill?" She stated they charge "$20 per design, $20 for white & $20 for black". She charged me $20 per polish. Be cautious of what "designs" you are choosing and the price. Lines weren't even clean. Very disappointed, this pricing is ridiculous! read more

I would rate the quality of work to be about 4 stars but because of the lacking customer service, they are getting 2 stars from me. I got a gel manicure for $21. I had to move seats 3 times before getting to the chair where my manicure was done. They constantly shuffled people around to find an available worker. My manicure was not finished with a lotion massage. I was just told to wash my hands and I was done. Meanwhile, my mom and sister came in with me at the same time. One wanting a gel manicure as well and one wanting a pedicure. We were told it would be a 15 min wait. It was 45 minutes before my mom's pedicure got started and 55 minutes before my sister's gel manicure was started. The manicurist started to take my sister's nail polish off and left her with no explanation for 10 more min because someone came in for an eyebrow wax and apparently she was the only one who could do it. Although the quality of work is good and nails look great, they lie about wait times so you don't leave and you're there WAY longer than expected. read more

I've been going to fun nails for about four years now Zack is my nail guy but Syndi is amazing also my daughter gets her nails done by Tina who is a new nail tech there but she did an amazing job and my daughter will be asking for her next time Zack and Syndi do an amazing job every time I've never had a complaint any time someone sees my nails I get compliments and asked where I got them I live all the way in La Verne which Is about a 30 minute drive but it is worth it I will be posting more pics of my nails because every time I take pictures every time I get my nails done I take pictures and post them because they do such amazing work I will be back in about three weeks for a fill. I really wanted to like this place the people are friendly but unfortunately I left with several small finger cuts and a set I didn't like. Not at all what I wanted. The man who did my nails was more focused on the show he was watching on his phone while doing my nails than my actual nails. The girl who attended me the second time on my fill, which I think is the owner was sitting on one of the pedicure massages chairs. She said oh no honey we're closed. Come back tomorrow. Even though I went over an hour before closing time. That to me just seems wrong of her push people away. I Do not recommend. I've been coming to this nail salon for over a year and just the last two times I've been there I've had the worse experience. I've had pedicures done with a calluses scrub most of the time, but this last visit was the worse. The lady scrubbed so hard that a piece of skin came off. And then she wanted to put glue on it to stop the bleeding because it wouldn't stop. I pulled my foot away and said no. I also felt burning around my toes and today I noticed all the cutes on my toes. This is so painful. I hate to say this but they lost my business, I will go elsewhere.
