That raised serious concerns about sanitation and infection control, and it made me question whether the salon follows the cleanliness standards it advertises. Another downside is the pricing. While I generally feel the quality of the work justifies the cost, I was surprised to be charged an additional $10 for filing during a fill. Filing is a necessary part of a fill because the nails have grown out, so it feels like a basic component of the service rather than an optional add-on. Charging extra for something so fundamental comes across as excessive. I genuinely like this salon and want to continue supporting them because the artistry is excellent. However, I believe the sanitation practices--especially when dealing with nail infections--need immediate attention, and some of the add-on fees should be reconsidered. Out of 3 places that I have been to for the last few months, this place was the most pricey and they charge for everything. A regular pedicure was $27 but if you want gel they charge a total of $15 more while most places charge $10 more. Gel remover is extra even if you're still getting gel, $2 more if you're using a card to pay unless you zelle them. It was $82 for the service (gel pedi $42, gel mani $35, callus remover $5) and I tipped them a total of $16. I had to split among 3 people instead of the usual 2 because the lady working on my manicure couldn't spend 10 more minutes to finish painting my nails. She wanted to get started on another client so she ended up getting less tip. Ultimately I did end up liking the color I got after trying on a handful of colors and I did receive a bottle of water while I was there. The workers here prioritize talking in Vietnamese the whole time versus socializing with their customers. Although I understood what they were saying, I didn't engage too much. Vietnamese-owned salons should realize that workers talking in their native language for an hour straight while 80% of their clients don't speak the same language isn't an ideal environment. The store is called organic but honestly I didn't see exactly what was organic about their products. They use exactly the same nail polish brands as any other shops. I may or may not return.

This salon was recommended by a colleague and friend so I wanted to give it a try. I went in for dip mani and gel pedi. My first red flag was the removal of my previous dip/gel. They heavily rely on tools to file down your previous nail job. I am used to having my gel soaked off and prefer this as it is better for my nail health. Using the tool unnecessarily can thin the nail bed. I should have stopped the appointment right then and there but wanted to give them a chance. Next was cuticle removal. Again - no soak! Just pushing them back and clipping. It's been 5 days since my visit and my cuticles look horrible. Then there was the dip application. No builder coat applied and then the sealing of it was not done properly. The top coat is already peeling off and there are hairline cracks in my nail. I don't even know why I paid $108 for a dip mani and gel pedi for an absolutely mediocre job. The pedicure was extremely minimal. The entire service was SO FAST. And the entire time they kept trying to convince me to try builder gel. My friend who recommended this place does get the builder gel, so my guess is going to be that's what they specialize in. They have a 7 day guarantee but I'm afraid to go back to get it fixed because I feel they will just file the nails down again and make them even thinner and I'd rather cut my losses at this point. I just feel I wasted so much money on something not at all worth it. I will stick to my regular salon where they take care of your nail health and the application lasts flawlessly for 3+ weeks!
