I grew up in Southern California in the 70s and visits here feel like an experience from my childhood. There's a real woman behind the counter. It gets good reviews as far as pricing and I forget the percentage she told me, but she said she doesn't hike the price up much from year to year. Every door is on ground level and you drive up to it. It's clean and Security is good. I have an irrational urge to rent a bigger one!

Located conveniently off the 5 freeway, it turned out to be a storage facility that has a staff that actually cares about their customers. Yolanda is the site manager and this intelligent and kind person made sure my storage needs were met. Even when I was just looking the place over, she never tried the "hard sell" approach. Her warmth and willingness to work with me made the decision to locate here the easiest one I've ever made. Ben is the Assistant Mgr who is always on his feet, constantly in work mode. Each time I arrive, he greets me by name. How does he remember my name? Anyway, he is so proficient at his job, always checking to make sure everything is functional and up to par. Amjad is also a site manager and this gentlemen is always walking inside and out, greets me as he passes by my storage locker and makes sure I have everything I need. What a trio of competent people. This facility has giant garbage bins (a first for me as I've never seen a storage place that has any for customer use) and a clean washroom for customers. I wish I knew about this location sooner. Take my word for it, Extra Storage in Burbank has a great location, indoor and outdoor storage lockers and a staff that likes their customers. They are competitive price wise and is a very secure site. I'm so happy to have my personal belongings there and you will too.

THE KIOSK WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SAY YOU PAID NOTHING. DONT LET IT CYCLE OUT. CLICK YES WHEN IT ASKS IF YOU NEED MORE TIME. you can always pay over the amount and it will go to the next month. luckily when I paid at the kiosk and the kiosk timed out because I didn't have the exact amount. when I reentered the portal it said I paid nothing when I was a few dollars short. I called the office and they checked the kiosk for me and I was able to pay the correct amount the next day.

They put the unit on reserve for a week for me until I was ready to move in. When the day came, I called the unit In the morning to ensure it would be at the above rates we spoke about. They confirmed yes. When I arrived 1 hour later with all my things AND the movers, I'm told that the 50% deal has ended and they also increased the price to $140/ month within the hour. Total curve ball. My movers had to wait on the parking lot while I researched a new place to rent. And of course, I ended up having to pay the movers more for the time wasted. Classic example of corporate greed. The employees at the front desk are nice and helpful but the actual corporation itself is a piece of shit :)

That was until my brother up and moved out of the unit I had subleased to him without notice. I had minimal time to remove the few large items and boxes of mine he left behind. Fortunately, i received a response from the kind people at Storbox the only day I had left before the land lady was going to have everything junked. I feel terrible for forgetting her name but the very courteous, professional woman at Storbox that greeted me was a real life saver. It was late in the day, they were open for 1 more hour and she was able to go over contract details, storage unit sizes/prices and standard grounds procedures/protocols so efficiently that I was still able to return to my new unit within operating hours and achieve my goal of having all my items safely and securely relocated by the days end. There are multiple storage location options in Pasadena but Storbox was the one to come through in my time of need and I can confidently recommend this location without a doubt.
