When I downsized my home, I decided to go easy on myself and get a storage unit. I know rationally it doesn't make sense because they say people don't really use the stuff they store, but what can I say? I like this place. I grew up in Southern California in the 70s and visits here feel like an experience from my childhood. There's a real woman behind the counter. It gets good reviews as far as pricing and I forget the percentage she told me, but she said she doesn't hike the price up much from year to year. I've used Burbank Self Storage for the past few years and LOVE them! Prior to that, I was paying more for a unit (at a large chain storage place) that was less than a quarter the size AND I had to take an elevator to get to it. It was a huge pain. I called and spoke to Rhonda and luckily, she had a perfect unit for me. Driving right up to your storage space is so great, and I've always felt like my stuff is safe and secure. I think they are reasonably priced for what you get. The storage units are clean and the whole places is safe with security cameras, multiple gates at night (controlled access during the day too), and on site management. Speaking of management, Rhonda is awesome! She's always nice and has worked with me when I needed a little time to move from one unit, to a larger unit. I like this family owned storage unit compared to the big chain storage companies. All units are easily accessible by vehicle and it's never crowded! read more

Burbank Self Storage is by far the best storage facility in Burbank and the surrounding areas. Clean units, great security, and friendly people. The rates were head and shoulders cheaper than anything else in the area for a 10x20. The 10x20 I was in also had pretty high ceilings so I pack my entire garage in to it while we were having construction done. I never had a single issue while renting there. I also personally love the fact that they are a local family business. If I ever need storage again they would be first on my list. read more

I recently rented a small storage unit here while apartment hunting and had a positive experience. Located on San Fernando not too far from Buena Vista, this is a convenient more industrial location if you're in the Burbank area or fly into the Burbank airport. I rented the 10 x 5 foot unit, which easily held a couch, dresser, and lots of bags and boxes. If you don't have a ton of furniture (always good to downsize before a move anyways!), this will accommodate a studio or 1 bedroom's contents. The gated facility is well-maintained and I never worried about the security or safety of my goods- you bring your own lock. I rarely saw more than a couple people there while I was picking up or dropping off items, and no one looked sketchy. They have surveillance cameras, a password-protected gate (each renter has a personal code) for entering and exiting and apparently guard dogs. This was my first time renting a storage unit, but the price seemed fair for the value, safety & location. read more
