Run exactly how a storage place should be run. The front desk staff is very friendly, the facilities are clean and easy to get around and the prices are reasonable. Many storage places just hope and pray that people forget to pay their bills so they can seize your storage, often declining to send reminders to people who are late. Enterprise is not like this. They have a generous grace period during which they send out several reminders. They are in the business of providing rental storage units, not seizing property. Also of note, during Covid, before we knew that we could claim unemployment we were worried about our bills and paying them in time. I called Enterprise at that time to inquire what would happen if I was late and they informed me that they were freezing all seizures during the lockdown. Overall very good experience with ESS. I am happy with the rate because after calling around, prices are much higher elsewhere and reading the reviews of their competitors, I see that rents are raised frequently elsewhere. I was told ESS doesn't raise rent as much as their competition either. Hours may be slight more limited but I can work with it. My unit is on the second floor. For moving bigger items, there is a lift/elevator, a relic from the past (if you ever go here, you'll see). We'll, at least it works every time I go. NOTE: Don't go too early. I arrived last Saturday 20 mins before opening when I was on a time restraint. Well, I thought they were already open because their website showed an 8am opening time on a Saturday, but Yelp showed 9am. So after waiting till 9am, I waited 20 additional mins and still no one there to open up. I rushed off pretty upset and left a message. The lady called me back and I explained the what happened. She checked the website and confirmed that the times posted were incorrect. She also admitted nonchalantly that she arrived 20 mins past the opening time. Didn't even apologize for being late to open up. Not the greatest experience there, but I'll know not to ever go too early as they don't seem to be as reliable for their opening hours. read more

This place is A-OK. I have a storage unit. The place is a big rickety but overall, I can access my unit and get stuff in and out. I wish they had better hours. The hours can be pretty restrictive - closes by 7 PM. That is pretty early especially if you need to get something out of the unit after work. You get what you pay for. If you want a swanky, beautiful storage unit, that is available down the street. I just needed some temporary storage until I move. read more

I found ESS in 2008! And have been with them for 13 years now! REASON? SAFETY , SECURITY, and CUSTOMER SERVICE! The customer service is Fantastic! Always helpful! Hours of operation with a manager on the premises are awesome. Easy to access with a car, pickup truck, or moving van. Loading dock, large roll up! Carts, restrooms, bottled water! Clean, well lit! And I have stayed all day going through items in my three units. One is for business, and two are for my personal items. They have many sizes of units to choose from. I have a large, medium and small units! And the prices are reasonable! I have a 5x6,8x10,10,20! Happy to have these spaces in Los Angeles! They have added new locations! Check them out! read more

Do NOT rent from them. If you think you have a reservation with them and are all set, guess again. I had reserved online and called the facility ahead of time the week before to not only make sure they had a unit for me but the one I needed at the price I had reserved, only to show up with a rented van full of stuff to be told they didn't have a unit for me. The manager then proceeded to offer me another unit at $60 more a year and then told me I was unreasonable for not taking his "generous" offer - a unit mind you that was the same size as the one I had signed up for. It ultimately came down to the principle that the manager was completely unwilling to make good on the reservation I had properly obtained and double checked on ahead of time. (ages 11 & 5) I also recieved a free lock from Randy and Amy is as sweet on the phone as she is in person. I needed a storage for work and reviewed places on Yelp. Called around to a few places based on this to get a few quotes. Their customer service was friendly and inviting. The manager showed me 2 options that were perfect for what I needed. 1 of them was on hold until the following day. I preferred this spot and asked to be informed if it became available. I was called the following day and told the progress with the unit. I received a second call later in the day that it was mine. This place is clean and the loading dock is close to my unit. Rented 2 units for 6 months. Affordable and secure. If you drop your items do it during the weekday, less people moving in and out, and you'll have a better chance getting a cart as well. No frills but clean, no bugs or dust, and employees were courteous and friendly. Easy drive in, but again, avoid the busy days and you can park closer to the entrance moving your things. Tip: bring a chock (short chunk of wood 2x4) to stick under cart wheels to keep it from rolling downhill on their sloping parking lot. I got nailed by a heavily loaded cart that escaped from one of their careless customers. read more

I've been renting storage space at ESS since 2015. The manager, Sergio, has always been helpful and provides great customer service.

I had searched and visited over 5 places in the Burbank, Glendale area and was so incredibly disappointed with the spaces and attitudes of the management everywhere BUT here! I had phoned ahead and was ready to give up. I got there just before closing and Randy was a breath of fresh air. He was incredibly kind and wanted to help me. Maybe because it's family-owned there is a special attitude they have towards their customers. I am sorry for the only negative review but when a family member passes away, it's a very difficult time, so I am sorry for "Erin". I had only positive and generous experiences with this facility and their management. I have three spots there and Randy called me as I told him I needed to get them closer together and he made it happen. Ive been there 3 years and I know my things are safe and clean and well-monitored. I go there often as I am a designer and store my furniture there so I love stopping in to say hello to Randy, who is there most of the time. Most of the other places have very low ceilings and that cuts your cubic footage availability in half,and then you have to deal with minimum-wage personnel who would rather be somewhere else, and don't seem to care. I give Enterprise a 5-star rating for cleanliness, service, and continually improving the place with updating monitors and key pads, and for me service with a smile, is the best reason for staying there. read more

I made a same day reservation and employee Michael called to confirm within minutes! I moved my items in the same morning. Michael was courteous and informative, gave me the full tour and completed and emailed the paperwork before I even got back home. Rented a small 5x5 storage unit here for just over a year now as I was moving out of LA down to SD having half of your belongings packed up in a city 150 miles away can be a pain but this place could not have made it easier, best priced unit I could find in all of Los Angeles, it was very secure, in the summer it stayed cool in the winter it never got too cold so all of my art stored here stayed in great shape. Staff is awesome always extremely helpful and very friendly. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe secure storage space.
