I had an expensive pair of sunglasses that I had purchased elsewhere and the nose pads needed replacing. Also the arms were apparently a little bent according to the person assisting me. I didn't even notice that part until after she fixed them. The glasses felt so much better on my face after she got through working on them. I was helped very promptly and courteously. I was referred to StudioRyes when I moved backed down to SoCal and have never gone looking for another place. The entire staff is wonderful- from Rosa who answers the phone, to Virginia and Gabriel making sure glasses fit just right. The facility is always very clean and state of the art. I LOVE Dr. Shuham. Do not go to StudioEyes! They are dishonest. Their primary concern is how to make as much money off their patients as possible. After my annual eye exam, I chose not to purchase my contact lenses from them as I found the same lenses for less $ online. StudioEyes, however, refused to confirm my contact prescription as they told the company "I did not pay for my exam" so they won't give out my prescription. First of all, I have eye insurance who they billed and I did pay for my portion of copayment. Secondly, why was I able to buy contacts directly from studio eyes if my prescription isn't valid? Thirdly, is it ethical or legal for a doctor's office to discuss a patient's medical or financial issues with an outside third party company? I rarely write negative reviews and need to be very upset to do so. I hope that this review discourages new patients from walking into their office... read more

I really love this place. I've had a few emergency visits to their office and they have always accommodated me and let me see a doctor the same day. Luckily the problems were minor but just the fact that they were allowing me to be seen that day was so important to me. The staff is always friendly, thorough and highly trained. For eye exams, they have very high tech state of the art technology to check the health of your eyes. They have a high end retinal scan device which can actually see into the back of the eye through a scientific device (kind of like an MRI for the eye). This is a lot more effective at detecting cataracts and the health of the eye than just a regular doctor's visual inspection. If you ask for a copy of the scan they will email it to you the next day for your records. They are fast, efficient, friendly, and very caring and competent. Also, they also recommend glasses if you need them for reading or whatever and aren't too pushy about selling you a prescription. I highly recommend this location for all your eye care needs. read more

I have 2 kids and it isnt easy paying for thier glasses all at once and then i found this place and they let you split your payment in half. So i was able to put half down and when i got back to pick the glasses up i pay the remader. Also when i got there everything was fast and easy and Virginia who helped my kids did an amazing job helping my kids pick glasses we were in and out in like 15 mins. When the contacts didn't arrive on time, they immediately contacted me and set up an appointment for the next day. My wife also came in for an eye exam and new glasses. I schedule an appointment on 10/6/2021 for my son.Initially provided with my son's Member ID and I was told they take his insurance. Then when they requested to completed and submitted a form with multiple questions I was told they don't take his Insurance and this is after I was told they did! when trying to Re-Schedule somewhere else I was told there is an authorization in place and it needs to be RELEASE in order for then to schedule this appointment. I called the only place I had initially schedule the appointment with was STUDIO EYES IN NORTHDRIGE talk to Veronica and she insured me it was not then because they don't take my son's insurance that there was no way they could process a request and get an authorization to bill my son's insurance if they don't take his insurance but to my NOT surprise it was them who had requested and Authorization. VSP confirmed that to me, and even gave me the Authorization # Shady people. read more

I've been seen by all 3 Doctors. they are all good people. Recent visits have been with Dr. Do and Dr.Shuman. They are always helpful in answering my questions and caring. All my family goes there for there exams. They take good care of us. (sending reminders for exams,lost contacts,servicing any issues with glasses, etc..) Been to a few eye Doctors myself, But been a client of Studio eyes now for 8 yrs or so. The people in the office are all polite (both offices) and will answer all your questions.
