The ladies were so nice here at Porter Ranch Optometry! A lady attempted and tried but it was a fail because i need to go back to Louis Vuitton store to get the glasses replaced. However, the service was phenomenal the lady that helped me was very sweet and personable. The store is very neat as well ! They have many brands of glasses here! Overall average experience. Parking is tough so plan ahead. Once inside, they told me they have free valet services though. Appointment was easy to make. I was seen 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. The first examination room could be cleaner. The machine was also a tad bit high so I wish they had an adjustable height chair or machine. Dr. Kh. was good, but she was very much focused on directing the conversation in a way to sell more services. She told me that everything was alright, but she would like to watch this and that and for that I needed that...in a tone that made me wonder if there is something wrong with my eyes. I also didn't know that people of my nationality have different optical nerves. I hope that is not a bad thing. read more

Dr. Paknejad was fantastic! Here are the reasons why; she provided excellent, kind, informative, patient service to my 11 y.o. With autism. She double, tripled checked her exam to ensure that despite difficulties with communication she was giving my kiddo a proper prescription. I could not be more happy with her exam. Where i have a difficult time with is the front staff, the older woman who barely helped us select frames and did the initial eye check. She said but 10 words to us the whole time, failed to really acknowledge my child as a whole person. And the receptionist was incredibly unenthused, not warm or welcoming. There were 2-3 other customers/patients at the time. I could go into more detail of the front staff services and experience but i would rather highlight Doctors fantastic exam instead. However this is why I gave the three star review. Facility is beautiful and clean. read more

Our whole family has been coming to see Dr Terzian for over 10yrs; late to the review. He's so calm, respectful and knowledgeable. Although his practice can get super busy we never feel rushed. Office is always clean and organized. Through out the years some staff has changed however, they all continue to be personable and provide great customer service and are always helpful. Parking does suck but not a deterrent, at least for us. We were local before but even after moving away from the area, we still drive the 40mins to see Dr. Terzian and his staff. read more

Based on yelp reviews, I called first then came here with my wife with my Eye Rx to get new glasses. If all went well, my wife would afterwards schedule an eye exam for new contacts & eyeglasses. I gave the lady my CIGNA Vision ID card that had my membership #. She asked me a few questions while entering it the computer, then inquired whom was my carrier. I was sort of stunned, as she was looking at both sides of my CIGNA ID card in her hand while was telling us that there was not enough info on it. She suggested that I call CIGNA to clarify and get back to them. So we returned home and called the CIGNA Customer Service number that was printed on the card. They verified that we are covered and were equally puzzled why this business rejected our CIGNA Vision ID card. I called PR Optometry back to relay what CIGNA customer service told me. They asked me for my membership number printed on my CIGNA ID card and said, "Oh, sorry, your card is valid". I inquired what info was missing that they needed, and was told nothing was missing. Everyone was polite and cordial, but this interaction did not exactly leave us with a very good impression. We later visited a different nearby Optometry and everything went smoothly. read more

They Accept VSP Insurance! I Love my Ray-Ban's, I will never get any other brand because I wasn't raised with Glasses. I sleep with them allot (what I'm tired :( lol). I remember calling places all over the valley for prices, and VSP networks. I finally called Porter Ranch Optometry and Their Prices were right, and they were in the network with VSP insurance. When I arrived for my appointment The Atmosphere is so pleasant and clean there, and the staff is really friendly. They make you feel so welcome. The Doctor Is very polite and kind. They have a massive collection of glasses, as well they are able to order pairs that are not in stock at their location. I tried their free pairs and they do get the best ones they can find. However I find, for myself, its better to buy Glasses from a brand name The quality of free glasses are very poor no matter where you go. I always tend to break them within a month or 2. I buy Ray-Ban Because they have lasted me up to 3-4 years. I am going to come by this year for some new sunglasses because last years glasses are still on my face without the help of tape! (or glue) Customers there Tend to seem to be wealthy, so they don't give a fuck and they will park in 2 spots because they act privileged. (No one cares that you own a stupid Blue Bentley, Get over yourself!) Overall they get a 10/10 from me! Tip Top! read more

This is by far one of the easiest eye exams I have ever got in my life. The employees were friendly and nice. Dr. T. was nice and knowledgable. He wasn't pushy in selling frames and such to me. He even gave me my prescription w/o even me asking so I could shop around if I needed to. I have got many eye exams done at lenscrafters and they have always been very pushy in selling their stuff.
