We took our son's unusual prescription eyeglasses to the shop to see if the stem could be reattached. Several other places wouldn't touch them saying they were irreparable. Norman (our jeweler) recommended we try this establishment. Huong took on the challenge, rose to the occasion and completed the repair beautifully. Well done! My only concern is that the business hours are quite unpredictable despite having them posted on the door. We had to go several times before "jackpot!" read more

They are never there and do not adhere to their posted hours. I have waited there 3 times for them to open.

Huong is absolutely the best. Came with an emergency, my daughter broke her glasses and her birthday was the next day. She was going to have to cancel all her plans but at 5pm Huong was able to make a new pair with designer frames at half the price of Lens Crafters. Great quality and price. read more

Service was quick, professional, and friendly! I brought in two pairs of glasses for repair, and not only were they fixed in under 15 minutes, but the lady who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. That level of care and transparency really stood out. It's rare these days to find a business that clearly values people over profit, and I truly appreciated both the quality of the work and the genuine customer service. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, and caring place for your eyewear needs, I highly recommend supporting this small business. I'll definitely be back once I get my new prescription! read more

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND** I was actually next door at the cobbler (look it up if you don't know what that is) and noticed she was doing repairs. I immediately got my pair of sunglasses & walked in. She greeted me with a hello & tended to all her clients in order. Great customer service! I simply asked if she can clean them & she said yes. She did it for free!! Not to mention she checked the screws & the alignment of the frames...once again it was free!! Couldn't believe it. Cleaned them up w/ a tune up. So simple but it's a gesture that a lot of stores do not do. I will be coming back for future frames. read more

This place is so neat! The woman who helped me was quick, efficient and helpful. I came in looking to replace the nose pads on my vintage sunglasses from the 90's. She replaced them in under 10 minutes and I bought a glasses case for them and she threw in a small cloth as a gift. Such a sweet, local owned business. Much appreciated, I will be back for any future glasses needs. Thank you. read more

This review I'm leaving here is well deserved. The owner's name is Huong . She is truly exceptional when it comes to eye glasses repairs. I brought in my Ray Ban prescription eye glasses and I was in discomfort from the way the glasses held up on my face. The arms of the frame seemed to curve outwards instead of your traditional straight arms. I came to this Eyewear store in hopes I could make the frame arms straighter than the way I purchased it. She told me I had nothing to worry about and that it would be ready in 30 minutes. In 15 minutes she called me and told me my glasses was ready. When I came back to pick up my glasses, "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HAPPY I WAS" The results of what she did to the frame left me speechless. She did such a job tremendously job and I'm extremely satisfied and proud Plus the repair and eye glasses are very affordable. I would recommend this eyewear to all my friends and family. Thank you -Lenny read more

The nose pad (including the metal attachment) broke off of my glasses, so I took it to several eyeglass repair and jewelry shops this weekend to try to get it fixed. No one could fix them, so I shelled out for new frames. However, the frames were sized differently than the original ones so it wasn't as easy as popping them into the new frames. I'm leaving for a business trip on Monday and needed to get them fixed by today. The lady at the counter (maybe the owner?) named Houng spent about an hour hand-cutting the lenses to fit them into the new frames, and at a very reasonable price. I never noticed this place before, but I will definitely be coming here again for future glasses and repairs. read more

Huong runs this shop and she is amazing! She took my prescription and my old frames, measured my pupillary distance and filled my high myopic prescription (-6.00) in less than an hour. In addition she polished my old frames for free and they look like new. All this for half of what I normally get charged for glasses by my optometrist at the mall. She also has a large selection of high end frames at really good prices if you are looking for both frames and lenses. Highly recommended if you want to save money. read more

I have purchased 3 pairs of glasses now from Houng @ California Eyewear. The quality is far superior to any Doctor's office or optometrist that I have used in the past. She always goes the extra mile to fulfill the needs and requirements of each and every special client. My previous spectacles from my doctors office broke in a fall. I found out they were not unbreakable as I was told. I was lucky I didn't loose an eye! I always got blurred vision when using those glasses while reading on my phone. This caused a great deal of eye strain. And hours to return to normal. With my new glasses from California Eyewear I had clear vision all during and after my phone use. WHAT A MIRACLE. Thank you Houng for being so caring and special. read more

Definitely recommend. Amazing costumer service. The owners was so incredibly helpful and generous with our issues. We will definitely be buying and fixing our glass from here for now on. They have a great selection and the have amazing high end glasses that aren't overpriced. read more

100 stars if I could! I was up visiting my mom this weekend and broke my glasses. I yelped around looking for a quick repair. Stumbled across Huong, and she is an angel. My glasses unfortunately could not be repaired but she just suggested popping the lenses and reshaping into new frames! I found a pair of Tom Fords that were so reasonably priced and had new gorgeous glasses in 30 mins! She is one of the sweetest people I have come across in a very long time. Even through the struggle of COVID, I saw her doing small favors for customers out of the goodness of her heart! Such a great selection of frames. I immediately got in the car and told my mom she needs to come here and have all her friends come! It's small businesses like this that need our support vs. the big Corp stores! I will definitely be back and send tons of referrals! read more

Eyeglasses frame broke. Place where I got frame closed for good. Insurance doesn't cover. Optometrist that I usually go to couldn't help. Friend suggested Huong at California Eyewear. Honestly the most amazing service! My glasses were fixed in no time. Anywhere else they would've had to break the frames and solder them back together but she was able to fix the original frame and looks better than brand new again I am so grateful I found this place! The place that originally got the frames from would not fix them but to find a great local business that was and was super nice, informative, and quick was amazing! Bottom line support local businesses! read more
