Store #3646 - Northridge Store manager Lisa. I wanted to share my experience because, while it started out frustrating, it ultimately ended with excellent customer service. I initially visited the store to have my glasses repaired. During my first visit, associates Leilani and Daisy assisted me by ordering replacement side pieces for my glasses. They were both extremely kind, professional, and took the time to listen to my frustrations. They validated my concerns and ordered the replacement at no charge, clearly informing me that the parts would be provided at no cost. After not receiving another call, I followed up with the store and spoke with the assistant store manager (male), who told me the parts had again been returned and needed to be reordered. While I was there, I clarified once again that I had been told by Leilani and Daisy that there would be no charge, and he confirmed that the parts would be free. I was so appreciative at the time that I even gave him a Stanley Cup as a thank-you. Unfortunately, I was not notified when the parts arrived the second time either. I called the store again, and the assistant store manager informed me that the parts were in and that he would be available that day or the next to install them. I confirmed one more time that there would be no charge, and he said yes. When I came in, the store manager Lisa installed the parts but then informed me I would be charged over $100. I explained that I had been told by 3 different associates and one being the assistant store manager that there would be no charge. After her contacting the assistant store manager, he stated that he only said the "repair" was free, not the parts which was not what had been communicated to me. This was frustrating and confusing, especially since I had made multiple trips and had been consistently told otherwise. That said, I want to sincerely commend the store manager Lisa. Lisa listened patiently, considered the full context, and ultimately honored what I had been told by her team. Lisa handled a difficult situation with professionalism, kindness, and understanding, and she resolved the issue by providing the replacement parts at no charge. I truly appreciated that she believed me and acknowledged that the miscommunication was not my fault. Despite the missteps along the way, the store manager's handling of the situation is the reason for this positive review. Thank you Lisa for making it right!! read more

Sunglass Hut - love my glasses - Sunglasses Near Me - Northridge, California

Came in on a whim and Francisco was fantastic. I had spent the morning calling the Sherman Oaks location for the new meta glasses (this was when they first came out) - I already purchased them for in store pick up and they somehow sold it out. I happened to be at the Northridge mall to pick up food and walked in when I saw this location. There was one other person looking at glasses and Francisco was so attentive and super helpful. He had the glasses that I wanted and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very grateful for him and this location, it was so easy. read more

I ordered the glasses online for store pick up same day. My email showed it was processing and will be ready in 3 hours. I called the store and Lisa (the store manager) told me she didn't see my transaction and to google the customer service number to find out. She showed no interest in helping me and I asked would she call me when the order shows up she said yes but told me to keep calling back to check. I stopped by this Sunglass Hut inside Northridge Fashion Center mall today to refill my sunglasses cleaner. If you buy the sunglasses cleaner spray from here then you'll get free refills on the liquid when you run low or out. I came to the Sunglass Hut on the second floor next to the food court because there are 3 sunglasses hut here. The other ones are inside Macy or on the first floor across from the Apple store. The lady working this Sunglass Hut was very friendly with me and refilled my bottle to the top. When she was doing that, I was looking at their Oakley sunglasses. read more

Worse manager ever, she is rude and always with a hateful face. She told my husband... " Just know that every time they come in it counts them." We went with our two year old. I obviously had to hold her to try and stop her from leaving the store. So what, I'm not allowed to go in there. How do I tell my two year to not walk out and come back in. Went in today to return Oakley metal glasses that I had purchased online for my husband. I had my confirmation purchase and let the first person I saw know what I went in for. She was a black girl wearing glasses who looks not satisfied with her job and once I told her that I wanted to return the glasses she said I couldn't do it without a receipt which mind you I did it online and had my confirmation purchase in my email. She was quick to grab a box and send us our way. I had done my research and knew that I could return in store as long as the product was in its original packaging and I had the confirmation purchase. So I chose to go back to the store a few minutes later and spoke this time with a white girl and a guy who was just standing there( seemed to be the manager) but idk. They all look like they hate their job but these two ended up helping me and now magically I was able to do the return. Horrible service and horrible workers. Had fantastic service today at Sunglass Hut in Northridge Fashion mall. It was the store downstairs by Macy's, first level, across from Victoria' Secret. Lena was great! The store at the lower ground definitely have better customer service, I bought my oakley at the upper level few months ago and they are rude not knowing that there's another sunglass hut downstairs. Today, I bought my niece an Oakley for her birthday gift and Yvette is such a sweetheart except we prefer a brand new but she said there's none. We checked the store upstairs they have the Oakley we like but they are closing in 10 minutes and we were almost kicked out of the store, seems like they are all in a hurry to go home, very unprofessional with no customer service! we went back to the sunglass hut downstairs and just bought the glasses from Yvette because she's way nicer. read more

I purchased Oakley sunglasses from Sunglass Hut 5 months ago. When I purchased the sunglasses, I was informed if there is any manufactured fault with the product, I can get help from any Sunglass Hut store. Each store will honor the "Assured Quality" policy that is printed on the back of all Sunglass Hut receipts. 10/14/19 I went to Sunglass Hut in Northridge 1st floor. There I spoke to Suzy; she reviewed my glasses and receipts. Suzy confirmed I was within the return/warranty policy timeline. Suzy also confirmed my Oakley sunglasses did have a manufactured fault based on the screw falling out from the frame. No signs of other damages or signs of misuse. Suzy informed me her current store manager is not present, but she can check with another Sunglass Hut manager on the 2nd floor of the Northridge Mall. Suzy called Lorie and Paulina at the Sunglass Hut store located on the 2nd floor of the Northridge Mall. Without looking at my glasses the store managers immediately informed Suzy Northridge Sunglass Hut will not help me. Suzy got off the phone and informed the store managers Paulina and Lorie said a screw falling out of the frame is not a manufactured fault. Keep in mind this is without the store manager seeing my glasses. As one Sunglass store said it is a manufactured fault and the second Sunglass store saying it is not without seeing my glasses, I felt ping-ponged around as a customer. I just wanted help to get my glasses fixed per Sunglass Hut Assured Quality. Even with a receipt in hand and under the warranty timeline Sunglass Hut refuses to help and honor their Assured Quality policy. Don't expect Sunglass Hut to help you to replace your broken manufactured fault glasses. They don't care about your receipt instead they tell you buy another pair for 50% off. Why should I buy another pair of glasses from crooks and criminals that sell you a product but don't honor their return/warranty policies when it comes to a manufactured fault? I purchased a pair of sunglasses sometime in April. I added my prescription and broke them the very next day. Months later (Oct) I finally took them in to see if there's anything they can do to fix them. Although they couldn't, the very nice girl behind the counter offered their discount plan. I didn't have my receipt but she looked it up and found it in a matter of seconds. I paid half price and she changed out the lenses for me in less then 5 minutes. I walked in to come and purchase ray bans for a gift .. I tried on a few pairs and then I was ready to purchase what I wanted ! Thank god I brought my friend with me . The sales women was trying to sale me the displays pair. She said that they only sales displays there and they don't keep any stock in the back . I work really hard for my money and I found that very shocking . My good friend looked at the glasses and found 2 scratches on the lenses and then she grabbed a similar pair and she found two scratchers on the side . The saleswomen said they couldn't sell those and walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a box full of brand new pairs ! I don't understand why she didn't do that in the beginning! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The girl working there named Alice should not be allowed to see or talk to customers. As my girlfriend and I were checking out and paying for the glasses we had chosen, Alice asked to see my girlfriends ID to get her shipping information. She asked what her birthday was, and insisted that my girlfriend was lying to her and that my girlfriend looks older than what she was telling her. Is there something wrong with this woman? Who insists that a customer is older than what they are telling them and begins to insult them like that. Go see Andy Anderegg! So my ray bans broke so I took it to the Northridge mall. As with all malls, there are usually 2-3 Sunglass Huts. They are all known for their customer service and quality in their products yada yada but each one has a different experience due to their managers. Initially I visited the Sunglass Hut in the first floor but when I showed them my broke glasses and asked for my warranty I was just given instructions on how to get them fixed. They were kind and professional. However I took a leap of faith and visited the upstairs Sunglass Hut near the food court. I explained my problem and Andy went out of his way to make it happen. He replaced my sunglasses for me instead of having to send them back out and wait a few weeks. Additionally this sunglass hut has Persol sunglasses so I will definitely visit them again. read more

I came to buy my first pair of genuine quality sunglasses and wasn't expecting to walk out as happy as I did. I went in and was immediately greeted by the manager who was AMAZING (lower level). I forgot his name but he was so welcoming and kind!! I explained how I always had trouble finding a frame that fit my face and literally the first pair of glasses he pulled WERE PERFECT. I was in shock and he proceeded to help me and explain the sanitation policy and everything. Someone walked in and was clearly trying to steal and he handled the situation very professionally and ensured everyone's safety. Afterward he returned to give me his full attention and help me find a pair that truly fit me and that I would enjoy. I walked out happier than EVER, one of my best purchases yet. They sanitize everything so well and their system of sanitation is effective. I will be referring everyone to this location and will definitely be back!! There was also one other employee at this store (African American male) who was so so kind and welcoming, loved the atmosphere of this location and how professional it is. It's hard to find sunglasses that really fit your face, as well as fit your style. It's even harder to find someone who loves their job and is willing to take their time and give you superior customer service, even when they are working alone and have many customers. That's what my wife and I received from Richard! We both got a pair of sunglasses that we love. It was such a pleasure to listen to him speak of his product knowledge and the love for his job, which he has made his career. Sunglass Hut has been blessed to have him as part of their company.
