My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Terzian and his team for the past 3-4 years we have lived here. We absolutely love this place! Dr. Terzian is always prompt, kind and thorough with his exams. His team is always SO helpful and laid back about letting you look and try on frames you want to find the best fit. Christine has helped me on the phone and in office many times and offers honest and outstanding care. I recently had to order a certain pair of glasses through a different office because they did not carry that specific line, I felt I was overcharged you the other practice so called and asked Christine if the charges sounded right. She confirmed that I was being overcharged and offered to take the frames and get the lenses made at the correct rate. The staff, named Sesy was so rude that she hung up on me after I agreed to order a month supply of contact lenses for my daughter. She did not even explain when I can expect to receive the supplies, how I am receiving the supplies, and how much it costs for each eyes? They are so busy that they do not even care to bother to explain about the payment or even receive a payment. They are probably busy because of the doctors, the staff is not supporting it. read more

I have had serious ophthalmology issues for the better part of 30 years. I have visited several optometrists as well as ophthalmologist. I have had three detached retina surgeries and suffer from extreme eye allergies. On top of the fact, that I am probably legally blind my vision is so bad. Dr.Terzian is one of the most attentive and concerned optometrist that I have ever met. His follow up is incredible. The staff at Porter Ranch Optometry is amazing! They all, make you feel like you are their main patient. I'm not really sure how they do it. Coincidentally, I just recently found out that my daughter goes to the same office. They do have a nice selection of glasses but if you are filling a prescription here, do not go with their basic lenses. I filled my prescription there and I have been suffering with their lenses being scratched and unusable within less than a year. When I complained they did replace the lens with the same quality which also was unusable shortly after that. Then they tell me I could buy better lenses that are more expensive. They should have told me that from the beginning. Also the basic lens and AR Coating they provide should be better quality to start with. read more

I wear glasses almost half century and have a big experience in optometry. Finally, after long wandering I found Porter Ranch Optometry and dropped my anchor here. The eye exams by Dr. Terzian are very precise and accurate. He is very attentive and catches even minor problems and changes. The lab makes the glasses without any errors from the first time. The stuff is always helpful and patient. Lara even fixed my broken old glasses just as a courtesy. Previous two optometrists couldn't do anything about it. The selection of the frames is truly remarkable.This optometry has the biggest and most diverse selection. Here I finally find glasses that I really like (not whatever is available). My experience today was worthy of a review, though. I saw Dr. Paknejad, who was professional, thorough, AND funny!! (What an added bonus to have FUN at the optometrist.) I've worn glasses for the last 10 years, but today I decided to get contacts. Dr. Paknejad supported my decision for contacts and joined in my excitement to finally be able to wear a nice outfit, WITHOUT glasses!! The real MVP was the lady at the desk, though, who taught me how to wear contacts. She was so incredibly patient with me, providing instructions, encouragement, and space, when she saw I was getting frustrated. She never rushed me and she continued to assure me that I would eventually get it. After about 90 minutes, I was finally able to take my contacts out and put them in. HOORAY!! Years ago, I took my son to get contacts, somewhere else. This was NOT our experience. I WISH I had known about Porter Ranch Optometry. They're so kind and so patient. I really enjoyed my experience here. Daphni (I hope I spelled it correctly) was the one who helped me. She was very polite and kind. Since I was a walk in, I was nervous about not being seen but they made it work luckily. Dr. Michael was great, he does a bunch of tests to ensure they know all about your eyes, at no extra charge mind you, so I really appreciated that. Their selection is rather huge, and I believe they have a pretty decent price range as well. From bargain bin frames all the way up to Tom Ford (I saw a pair for $499...) Overall check this place out, plenty of parking and the store is kept clean and neat. I will be going here again for sure! read more

First time customer. I've been searching for good optometrist offices and could never find anything near me so I extended my travel and found this place. When scheduling my appointment the receptionist was very kind and helpful. During my first visit the staff was friendly and the doctor was very polite and answered all my questions . They also have a wide variety of glasses to choose from and I ended up purchasing two different styles which I'm so happy for. I switched to Porter Ranch Optometry because my wife had such a great experience with them. They have a much better selection of frames compared to my old optometrist and the service is fantastic. I got a pair of glasses in April and after 2 weeks I noticed a flaw in one of the lenses. It was something that was noticeable but had been overlooked. TBH I was kinda disappointed that nobody at the lab noticed it or that nobody at the office noticed it. When I took the glasses back they were completely apologetic and went above and beyond to correct the problem. They didn't point fingers or make excuses, they just took care of the problem. My second time visiting Dr. Mike. In both of my visits I walked out with nothing but positive experience. One thing I noticed is he has plenty of associates helping him during his busy rush hours. You also can tell he's a great Dr. since his office is always packed with patients. The office has a great selection of glasses from affordable to ultra luxury. You also don't have to wait 10 days to get your glasses back from the lab. All in all I give this place a two thumbs up and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

For everything glasses this store should be on your speed dial. They are friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. There selection is amazing. I love their Christian Dior and Celine frames. He also fitted me for contacts which is a big deal because I've been fitted 4 times in the past but was told I was allergic to some Ingredient in the lens which irritated my eyes like crazy!! Came in to get new glasses and the woman Rucha was rude and not helpful at all. She basically turned away business because I didn't carry my prescription on me. I'm shocked at the way I was treated because the DR has always been nice and helpful. Please train or hire new staff. This was a waste of a 45 minute drive. read more
