Stormburger is living up to the hype. I've driven past it several times and finally got the chance to try it on two different occasions and tried two different burgers. Tried the limited time tevs burger I believe it was called. Other time I tried the lightning burger. The lightning had a kick to it but was good. The fries were worth mentioning. Only complaint is there's not really parking and you can't eat here really. It's set up as a drive thru and go situation. That's my only negative remark so if you want to eat there or use a restroom those things are lacking. Good food though just unfortunate they don't have it set up for onsite dining

Tried it for the first time yesterday. I ordered the double burger combo. The fries are good, and the burger was good too. I don't know if it's because of all of the hype, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. It is also on the pricier side of $17 bucks for the combo. I doubt I'd go back but glad I finally gave it a shot.

I remember seeing long lines at Stormburger when it opened earlier this year. It popped up on my radar again recently and it reminded me to check it out. A half year later, lines continue to be long, as I waited upwards of twenty minutes to get through the drive through. Food is made to order, and they feature their smash burgers and chicken burgers. I got the BBQ bacon burger combo, which I thought was reasonably priced. It is their version of a western bacon cheeseburger with onion strings. Familiar flavor but was surprised to have such a crispy burger. Crispy bites came from their onion strings, bacon, and meat crust; however, I felt like I was missing some sort of juicy element like tomato or lettuce, but the bbq sauce and my large soda kinda did the job. My wife's classic stormburger combo was better as it had that classic smashburger with lettuce, onion, tomato, and burger sauce. I preferred the balance of meat to veg to the BBQ bacon cheeseburger that I ordered. For sides, I got fries and my wife got onion rings. Fries were breaded with cornstarch and seasoning to give an extra crispy bite. Nicely fluffy for a thin fry. I had a few extra seasoned fries that looked like cajun fries and the seasoning on the cajun variation was a lot better. I'd order that next time! My wife really enjoyed the seasoning on her breaded onion rings as well. Overall, I'd like to come back to try their chicken and their stormburger. I don't know that I'd order the BBQ bacon burger as I wanted more variations of texture. If Cajun fries are on the menu, I'd definitely get those. I think the prices for their combos are fair as I like that they're inclusive of fries and drink. Great addition to LB!

If you're craving a great smash burger, Storm Burger is definitely worth checking out! The burger was cooked perfectly, with those delicious crispy edges that make a smash burger so good. It's huge, juicy, and incredibly messy--in the best possible way. Once you pick it up, there's no putting it down! I finally learned my lesson and used a fork & knife to enjoy every bite. The fries deserve a shout-out too. They're extra crispy and come in either regular or Cajun seasoning. I went with the Cajun fries, and they were absolutely delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. If you're looking for a flavorful, satisfying burger and crispy fries, Storm Burger delivers. I'll definitely be back!

I decided to give Storm Burger a second chance, hoping my experience would be better this time. The drive-thru line wasn't very long, and the employee who took my order was incredibly sweet. She provided the menu without assuming I knew. However, the drive-thru setup is confusing. There are two lanes that eventually merge into one, which I understand is meant to keep the line from backing up into the street. The problem is that there's no employee directing traffic or alternating cars when the lanes merge. As a result, drivers become frustrated because no one wants to let the other lane merge. Even though there were only about five cars ahead of me, I waited approximately 20 minutes without the line moving. I asked another employee what was causing the delay, and she said they were understaffed. I understand staffing challenges happen, but I also noticed three employees standing outside after one of the drive-thru lanes had been closed. If the kitchen was short-staffed, it seemed like those employees could have been helping inside instead of standing around. Since I had only ordered one sandwich, I politely asked if, once it was ready, someone could bring it out to me instead of letting it sit while I waited for the cars ahead. I explained that I didn't want to get home with a cold sandwich. The employee assured me she would do that. She was nice about it. Eventually, after all but one car ahead of me had left, she finally brought out my sandwich. Unfortunately, I live only one stoplight away, and by the time I got home, the sandwich was already cold. To make matters worse, the Storm Sauce I paid extra for wasn't even in the bag. I tried calling the restaurant, but there's no way to speak to a live person or leave a voicemail. The recording instructs customers to send an email instead, so I did. I waited several days but never received a response. In the end, I threw the sandwich away. There wasn't much point in trying to reheat a cold sandwich, especially without the sauce I had paid for. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like Storm Burger. Unfortunately, the operational issues, long wait, cold food, missing item, and lack of customer follow-up left me turned off from giving it another try. It's still a fairly new establishment, so I hope they work through these issues.

Ah yes, the famous StormBurger, got to pull up here and see what all the hype was about. Got me a double StormBurger meal. Anyway I take a bite into the burger, tender meat, not the flavor I expected but not a bad burger, I can't really compare all these new up and rising smash burgers because they are all on their own category. So if we compare in the likes of Chris and Eddy's, 50Burger, Chubzies, and burgers of those sorts we get an above average burger. The fries on the other hand were just garbage, maybe if I were to come back I would get onion rings but these were almost like Rally's fries with not as much flavor unfortunately. Stormburger definitely took me by storm and when I went last week it was packed during lunch! Didn't realize it was mostly a concept for takeout because of the drive-thru but enjoyed my food standing up at their little standing area to eat. Their drive-thru had two lanes looking like Chick-fil A out here. Ordered at their window and parked in a parking lot for their customers. It's very limited but did the job. When ordering, I was practically shouting because the music was really really loud but other than that the food was solid. The bun with the sauce compliment the smashburgers well and the fries were almost like beer battered fries. I got the combo with strawberry lemonade too which tasted super fresh and not too sugary. Would definitely come back if I was in the area.

I enjoy the food here but I wouldn't come back because of the wait. The parking lot is very annoying and they have a lot of staff but they really need to improve their system. Their security guard was handling the line and he made me backup into oncoming traffic? Their burgers have a great flavor and I love how kragglely the fries are. We have been seeing this spot everytime we drive around Cherry area so we decided to finally give it a try. The line gets pretty long so it def gets you intrigued. We ordered their bbq cheese burger and a regular burger. Hubs and I def enjoyed their fries. I wish I tried more of their side sauces because they had a bunch. The kids enjoyed their fries too. I thought their burgers were a bit salty but it was still not bad. I don't know if it's worth the line people wait on but it's def not bad. Go give it a try!

I came on a weekday hoping to get some fast food for dinner but it became more of a long detour. It took about an hour from arrival to receiving my food. It seemed that there needs to be improvement in time efficiency. The drive through line was being manned by 4-5 people and in the pickup area there was 3 people. I'm not sure how many people they have cooking, but it was very laid back. Honestly, I wanted to not like Stormburgers food, but dang.. this place hits. Not only are the burgers solid (tried the Jalepeno Lightning) but the fries and onion rings are fried to perfection. I probably won't be coming here after a long shift, but for sure would have this again (if I can avoid a line.)

Went here hopefully it would be very good. It was ok, acceptable but not great. I got the classic and husband for the jalapeño one. Classic was pretty dry, the meat was just not enjoyable because it was so dry. The jalapeño one wasn't as dry though and his was better than mine. Fries and onion rings tasted like they were made a while ago and sitting in a heater, they weren't fresh. Given it's a good price I would give it another shot and not order the classic again.

Dumbass niihas i was waiting onna order cuz i side hustle for uber eats i didnt know it was finna get to this, they js lookin at me laughin, till a worker came asking if i ordered at the front, i said no i came to pick an order, they said "omg sorry" after calling 2 customers and not even asking me "how can i help you" to see what im here for. Disappointed.. after seeing long lines and seeing great reviews had to try it fior ourselves.. I ordered the halo peno burger but got no halo penos. My wife ordered a classic burger no cheese but got cheese. The music was loud while ordering and annoying. We were asked about 3-4 times what was the name on the order.. So I came by with my grandkids and my son and tried StormBurger. Let me tell you I was highly impressed with them. Oh my gosh, the bacon barbecue burger for me was my fave love the way that barbecue sauce in those onion strings were in there.Mmm. My son enjoys more of the spicy stuff so he ended up having the jalapeño one. He said it was good. He gobbled that down so quick lol. And my grandsons they have the chicken tenders. I mean, every kid loves chicken tenders and their fries you gotta get the sauce on the side they've got different varieties so we decided to try each one of them since they were enough of us. And the thing that I love the best being a mom in a budget it's definitely something affordable and absolutely delicious. I thought this place was gonna knock our socks off bcuz the line and how packed it was. Unfortunately, it just did not hit like I thought it would. The most basic, underwhelming, no flavor, with greasy burger buns, dry meat, and no "wow" factor at all. The only thing we liked was the peach and strawberry lemonade. The jalepeno burger was cool, I'd rate it 6/10, classic burger (so dry!) 4/10, bbq burger (also dry!) 5/10. Patties had no real flavor and tasted burnt. I will say besides the food, security did a nice job at getting the lines together. Just know on a busy night there's a line out to the street in the right hand turning lane on Cherry Ave. Overall, nothing special and don't know if I'd be back. Definitely not worth the wait of that line and definitely overhyped on social media read more

Basic condiments and toppings were billed without the server mentioning additional costs, and I was not given an itemized receipt showing a clear total to review the charges. Service is great! Food is trash at this location. First you get charged extra for ranch or secret sauce. The secret sauce is nothing but thousand island dressing and ketchup. Inconsistent. I've been to storm burger 3 different times. 1st time i got the jalapeño lightning burger. the burger was super messy and grilled onions were cold. 2nd time i got the classic cheese burger. it was great and tasted fresh. 3rd time i got the bacon BBQ burger and the burger was not fresh. Great customer service but the burger is ok. No real flavor. They were super busy so I don't know if that's why my burger was sloppily put together. The patty itself was super thin and barely in one piece. The Coke Zero tasted like water, totally flat . It tasted like water with a little coke in it. The fries were good. I'll give this place one more try once they have been open for a while and have ironed out the bugs. I had a better burger in the Cedars Sinai Hospital cafe . Stars are allocated for the great customer service I received from employee at the front who took my order. I came here for the first time yesterday after hearing great things about the food and I was excited to try it myself, so I came and ordered the classic StormBurger combo the chicken strips, onion rings and fries, and I must say I only had the burger, onion rings and some fries, but from the taste of everything, it was delicious. However, when I was eating my food and bit into my burger there was something hard that I had swallowed that was cutting my throat and choking me... I just assumed it was the outer layer of the onion rings that they may be fried by accident so I just set it to the side to see later since there was food on it and I put the burger away and didn't touch any more of the food after looking at it today, I've discovered they are wood chips. I'm not sure what they use wood chips for maybe they smoke the meat or something, but it should not go in the food at all. The food is great but almost choking for it does not make it worth it. I hope this situation can be fixed and resolved because as a first time customer, I'm not satisfied with the overall experience. read more

I was finally able to try the jalapeño lighting burger! OMG IT WAS FIRE! My daughter works at the storm burger truck in Long Beach the service and the food is A1!!! I've tried the deluxe chicken sandwich too it's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! I've had the storm burger and the classic burger at the Inglewood location! The food is really good no matter what location you go to! My supervisor asked me to bring her onion rings back one of the other supervisors came out to my desk to ask me where did I get those onion rings? She said they were so good and fresh! Storm Burger is seriously one of my new favorite spots. The food is amazing every time I go, and the BBQ bacon burger was especially good super flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right. You can tell they don't cut corners with the quality. I also tried the peach lemonade, and it was perfect refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. On top of that, the customer service really stands out. JESS was incredible she had great energy, was super friendly, and made the whole experience even better. She actually takes the time to talk to you and makes you feel welcome, which is rare. Honestly, between the food and the service, it's a place I keep coming back to. read more

I really liked this place. Ordered from the truck and can't wait until their brick and mortar is ready. Storm burger was really good, but the star was that spicy chicken sandwich. Wow. The fries were great and crispy. The other surprise was the onion rings - I'm not a fan of breaded rings, but wow - the breading and seasoning was perfect and the overall flavor was great. Had the Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger and also tried the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. The Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger is a smashed burger, and while mine was a little dry, I'm not going to pretend it didn't still have a ton of flavor. The BBQ sauce came through, the bacon was solid, and the fried onions were doing their job -- but let's be honest, it did not look nearly as stacked with onion strings as the pictures made it seem. I wanted all that grease. The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich was solid, too. The chicken itself was also a little dry, but the rest of the sandwich carried it. The coleslaw had a nice crunch, added some freshness, and kept it from feeling too heavy. And honestly, the bun deserves its own moment because it was hella doing work on both sandwiches. I usually hate brioche-style buns on burgers. The second I see that shiny soft bun, I get suspicious because half the time it turns everything into some sweet, floppy mess. But this one? Fire. Fresh, soft, sturdy, and somehow held everything together without falling apart or turning into sauce-soaked sadness. A good bun can make or break a sandwich, and they naaaailed it. The fries were better than I expected too. Lightly battered, kind of like Rally's/Checkers-style fries, seasoned well, and stayed crispy for a while. That alone deserves respect because too many places serve fries that go limp before you even leave the lot. Overall, I get the hype. The food has flavor, the portions are solid and the prices are actually reasonable for what you're getting. Now... the parking and drive-thru situation? Absolute clown obstacle course. Getting into the lot feels like waiting to jump on the 91 freeway entrance on Atlantic Ave. Parking is super limited, nonexistent basically and the drive-thru wraps around awkwardly. If it's busy, you'll probably be causing a mini traffic jam on the road just trying to get into the place. Once you're in, you're basically committed. Full send or don't come. The line also sends you to the alley, so it feels less like a normal fast food drive-thru and more like you're waiting for an amusement park ride that happens to end with greasy food and nearby residents staring at you through their windows like, "yep, another one." It's funny, but also kind of cursed. There's security, so there's that rofl. There's also a taco spot right next to it, so depending on the time of day, the area can get lively real quick. Personally, I would not come here at night or on a busy weekend unless I was fully committed to the burger mission. Between the tight parking, alley setup, drive-thru pileup, random late-night foot traffic and the possibility of becoming part of the traffic problem yourself... it just seems like too much chaos for me. Also, I do miss the Church's Chicken that used to be on this corner. Storm Burger is good, don't get me wrong, but I had to pour one out spiritually for the old Texas fried chicken staple. At the end of the day, the food won me over. Storm Burger has flavor, personality and enough good stuff going on that I'd absolutely come back -- I'd just be strategic about when I go. read more

this is my first time at storm burger & i just experienced the worst customer service ever. i stood outside the window for about 15-20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. two hispanic women in polo-style shirts came to the window numerous times, looked directly through me, and never once asked if i had been helped or needed anything. it felt like i was completely ignored (WHICH I WAS). after waiting, the shorter hispanic lady finally asked me what my name was. i told her that i had been waiting there for a long time, and she responded, "i saw you standing for 10 minutes, that's why i'm coming to the window now." i then asked to speak to a manager. she said, "ok, wait, let me get you one," and as she was walking away, i noticed her shirt was different from everyone else's, so i asked if she was a manager. she verbally said "NO", but then me stating that i see her shirts are different from the rest she hesitated to tell me yes, i asked why would she deny being a manager & she said "i think you wouldn't want to speak with me." i asked for her name, and she said gissell. eventually she said she would get the other manager named star. another 5 minutes passed & neither one of the managers came back to speak with me, but later i seen star walking from around the back and went right past me to handle a situation in the drive-thru with another employee, without acknowledging me once again. i was close enough to hear the name of the other employee in drive thru named edward, she went to go have a conversation with while i was still not being helped. on top of it all, i observed star later coming back in and walking past me AGAIN. she stood at the grey machines in the middle, looking at the wall, scratching her butt, and never once washed her hands, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety. overall, the lack of acknowledgment, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a very disappointing first experience. i do have a recording that i will be posting if it allows me. those two "managers (star & gissell) need to have training about better customer service skills. as a customer i would understand if the establishment was busy (IT WAS NOT) & they told me to wait a while but me standing outside for approximately 30mins with not even a "hi/ hello is honestly so crazy to me. read more

It said on their recording (and how sad that I can't get a live person on the phone), ...I would get a response in 24 hours. It's now 3 days later and NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT! We went through It was our first time trying Storm. So unhappy and disappointed and dissatisfied!! We had two orders. 1 classic burger combo with onions rings and a choc/vanilla shake 1 Bacon Bbq combo with onions rings and Coke Zero Got home and the first problem was the burgers were labeled wrong. Gave my husband his order the Bacon Bbq combo. Looked ok. I opened mine and even though it said classic combo burger - I opened the burger to find nothing but the crispy (soggy) onions and 2 pieces of bacon and a small squirt of bbq. That's it!! No burger! No meat! No cheese lettuce or tomato!! a bun with soggy onions 2 small piece of bacon. My shake was to be a "mix". It was only chocolate and runny The girl who took the order was great and got it right (see phot of receipt order. But it ended there was "no meat" We paid $35.34 for this!!! I recently visited Storm Burger, a newly opened burger stand in North Long Beach, and overall had a positive experience. I went through the drive-thru, and while the staff seemed fairly young and my order was not completely accurate, the service was impressively fast. It's clear they're still getting into the rhythm of things, which is understandable for a new spot. On the food side, Storm Burger definitely delivered. I ordered the double cheeseburger with their storm sauce, and it was excellent--flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. The fries were crispy and cooked just right, which is always a plus. I also tried their lemonade, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. One small detail I really appreciated was the drink packaging--the cups reminded me of boba-style cups, which gave a fun and unique touch to the experience. Recently, I placed an order at Storm Burger and was extremely disappointed. I ordered 6 burgers: 3 regular and 3 Double Burgers. When I got home and checked the order, I realized that out of the three Double Burgers, there was only one -- the other two were replaced with regular burgers. There was no warning or explanation. This means I paid for more expensive items but received cheaper ones instead. At best, this is negligence; at worst, it feels like misleading the customer. My family, especially the kids, were very upset because they were expecting exactly what we ordered. This kind of mistake is unacceptable. I expect the restaurant to contact me and resolve this issue -- either by refunding the difference or offering proper compensation. I ordered the turkey burger with egg and bacon, and it was absolutely delicious--full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I also had the chance to try all three of your lemonades--original, strawberry, and peach--and each one was excellent in its own way. They were refreshing and a great complement to the meal. On top of the great food and drinks, the customer service was fantastic. The staff was welcoming and made the whole experience even better. Thank you for such a great visit. Went in during a busy time, which I understand, but waited about 20 minutes for a single burger while watching multiple customers who ordered after me get their food first. It became pretty obvious my order was skipped or lost. When I brought it up, there wasn't much urgency or clear effort to fix it, which made the situation more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but ignoring it and not communicating is what really made this a bad experience. Hopefully this gets addressed because the system clearly broke down here. It was my first time trying this place too, and the cashier mentioned it was better than Marathon Burger, but in my experience Marathon Burger didnt take 20 minutes for a single burger. read more

And the fries? Fresh and amazing -- easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. Now, fair warning: the parking lot is a nightmare. You pull in, and you will get blocked. For all my turkey lovers, they thought about us and added turkey burgers to their menu which is very much appreciated.
