Bergan is now a CHI hospital, so you will sit under a giant cross while sipping on your coffee, if you sit in the exterior dining area. The interior of the coffee shop is where you order, and there is some more modern seating and decor in there, with black and white coffee paintings, bar stools, and a small bar you can sit at. The food offerings are pretty good for being hospital fare. There is a little display case at the front with breakfast sandwiches that they will heat up for you, as well as a few fridges behind the front desk with drinks, and cold sandwiches/wraps/salads. For the coffee, there are a few options - they have some carafes of different plain coffee out front that you can grab-and-go pretty quickly. But my favorite were the lattes! They have a TON of different flavors, but I stuck with the caramel, both in the hot version and iced or blended. It really hit the spot to have a sweet treat as well as the caffeine when going through that with my mom (I always got her one, too, don't worry!)
