DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY- I purchased a work truck back in April and took it directly to Storage Sense for storage. Literally hadn't even had the title fully in my name yet- not even a month later my truck is stolen!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. READ THE 1star reviews... I was told this was an ongoing problem... I was also told I would hear from the owner within the week after this issue happened- yeah right... I've left two google reviews- negative of course- I HOPE TO WARN PEOPLE B4 THEY LOSE THEIR STUFF TOO - a month after not hearing anything from them I got a reply to my review....stating please reach out to info@storagesense.com or whatever so we can figure out a resolution together- this is a serious issue and want to work with you on it- WHAT A JOKE- I emailed this address four times in hopes of some sort of response and care from storage sense... all in vain of course-- I got a call barley today- July 22, 2026- (only after I emailed again!!!)) my vehicle was reported stolen and made known to storage sense of its theft on May 26....I got a call stating that they WILL NOT be working towards any resolution...( IN FACT I WAS TOLS THAT REPLY TO MY REVIEW WAS FROM AI..!!!) FREAKIN AI ... so AI told me we could work towards a resolution I guess.. not storage sense because they don't really care about their customers!! - then I was asked by the district manager about my insurance on my new truck that I hadn't even driven yet since it was going to be my loss... I HAD THE REQUIRED INSURANCE- THATS WHY I WAS ABLE TO RENT THE SPOT...but clearly I didn't think I was going to be needing comprehensive insurance and everything else!!! So my luck I just put liability at the time!!! BECAUSE WHY WOULD I THINK MY TRUCK WAS IN JEPOR OF BEING STOLEN???!!!!!???? but like I said... the reviews will tell you this is an ongoing issue... people claim that they think its an inside job because WHAT THE HELL... how is everyone losing their trailers or tools or trucks over and over again and nothing is changing or being done???? ITS JUST A BIG FAT L to the customer!! OH BUT THEY WILL BE COMPLIANT WITH ANY POLICE REPORTS AND BLAH BLAH BLAH....you mean with all the footage you don't have because it took so long for you to respond!!!! OR am I to believe that they are going to take the time to go through months of supposed footage they may or may not have((( probably not right!!!???)) because at the end of the day they still got theirs. THEY DONT CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR STUFF!!! ---- THEY WILL DENY ANY LIABILITY AND ITS JUST A BIG F U....- trust me after my brief and ever so not giving a fuck conversation with the district manager this morning... their response is going to be " shrug " .... After finding a storage facility close to home I was excited to use this company. However, location is the only positive i've experienced. I was initially told all docs would be emailed and to just show up when I needed to move in. As someone who never used a storage facility before, I was unaware there would be locks on each unit. So while I got a document that had my entry code and unit number, I couldn't get in when I arrived with a moving truck and a handful of friends to help. The code didn't work to get in, so I called customer service and was told that I needed to do paperwork that was never sent to me previously. That's fine, we did it over the phone and I was charged my first months rent and move in fees. Code still didnt work so I had to call back. After getting into the facility I realized that the unit number I was given didnt correlate to any unit I could find on property, so I called customer service, yet again. They couldnt figure out where I was assigned either. They attempted to call management and maintenance and then called the regional manager who told them, only then, that I had to show up before staff left the facility at 2p (I initially arrived and called customer service for help with the code at 2:15p, and it was then almost 4p) so they could show me the unit and unlock it. I was told that "maybe" someone could help me the next day, but since they are closed on sunday I may have to wait till monday to move in. This was not an option, as I only had the truck and help that night. I ended up having to find another storage unit elsewhere, still never having even located my original unit, never received the call I was promised by customer service. I emailed (twice) Storage Sense all of this asking for a refund for the unit that was never used, as they shouldn't have charged me after hours if I couldnt even get into the unit and still haven't heard back. The email also included my termination request for the contract. It's now 1 month later and i've been charged another months rent and still no word from anyone. I have a unit the Denver Pecos facility. I've been unavailable for 2 months therefore my storage unit has not been paid for it since April 5th,2025.I was finally in a position to take care of my storage I called to take us facility and talk to Yolanda. She told. ld me that my storage was up for auct on June 19th and that I owed $1,300 and 50 something dollars. She also told me that they have a deal that they run which is paying half of the total balance and removing my stuff in 24 hours. So of course I was more than happy to do so it took me all day but I ended up getting the $675 to pay for my storage to get it out in 24 hours. I arrived at the storage facility at 5:00 on June 5th only to be told by Yolanda. It has grown up to $1,900 and that Kylie the district manager was willing to let me have my storage for $800 instead of $675 which was a great deal because it was less than half of the $1,900. I of course had no options and agreed to this offer they have given me. I didn't have the money they turn me down and four days has gone by so I decided to call Drew the manager of the Pecos property. So on Monday following eye contacted Drew and ask him why my offer that they offer everybody else at 50% was more than 50% of what I owed 00 I also asked him to explain why it was $1,900 Drew could not explain why it was $1,900 it was still at 1354 and my payoff was still at 800. Earlier this year this location was purchased by a national storage company. Since that time the customer service has been just plain awful. They will lie, steal, and cheap you for every penny they can. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. read more
