My grandma didn't even need to pedal because with 3 of us pedaling it was pretty easy. I liked the bridge and the little history markers along the route. Excited to come out later and see the Christmas tour! We loved the yard games and snacks at the depot too! I'm glad the confirmation email recommended bringing water and sunscreen as it was a bit hot by the afternoon, but we were prepared. We liked the snacks at the turn around too. My grandpa especially liked the history presentation, and asked the staff lots of questions about the mines and the railroad stuff. We didn't do the audio history tour but will try it next time. Overall, it was a great family day out!

It was a hot day, we enjoyed it but we all agreed it was a "one and done". The views are good but not great. We were given a speaker to take with us. No explanation of what the purpose of the speaker was so we just synced it with our iphone and played music (which the car behind us did the same so it was dueling music). Maybe that was the purpose??? I think the concept of Colorado Railbike Adventures has so much potential and they could do so much more to make the experience unforgettable but unfortunately, there's was nothing that made me want to come back or spread the word to try this experience. The staff was nice and the manager was great at sharing some history of the RR tracks, coal mining town, and history of Erie.

She made us feel safe and comfortable from the very beginning, and gave clear instructions so we always knew what to do. She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially families and first-time rafters. Definitely opt for the photo package too - the pictures we received were stunning and memorable. Huge thanks to Kayla and the Liquid Descent team!

I was so nervous walking in, but from the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Our guide, Koa, was the perfect balance of fun, kind, and incredibly skilled. He guided us through the rapids with such confidence and ease while also making sure everyone felt safe and included. He checked in on us several times throughout and made sure we were having fun, asked us if we wanted to "spice it up" a bit or keep it mellow and just really let us know this was "our" trip and he's cater to what we wanted. I quickly found myself letting go of fear and enjoying the moment... something I didn't expect would happen. Koa's energy was contagious, and his calm, respectful nature made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. At one point on the river, another rafting company had a mishap and we had to pull over and wait for them to recover and get their riders back into the raft safely. Koa explained what had happened with total grace - no judgment, no gossip - just a calm and respectful explanation. He also spoke so kindly of his own coworkers and even the owner of Liquid Descent. You could tell he genuinely cares about the rafting community and takes pride in his work and LOVES his Liquid Descent family! Every employee we encountered was friendly, encouraging, and helpful - from getting us fitted with helmets and life jackets to cheering us on as we headed out. As someone who started out nervous, that kind of supportive vibe made a huge difference. They encouraged me, and they helped me push past my comfort zone in the best way possible. What a GREAT memory! We will remember this day not only for the thrill of the rapids, but for the kindness and heart of the people who guided us through it! If you are considering rafting in Colorado, go with Liquid Descent. I'm so glad we did!

Definitely bring sunscreen for the second tour, as you will be sitting outside in the sun for a little bit. It's cool and refreshing inside the mines, and they're full of history, right down to the wooden shafts that still have numbers painted on them from the miners of 1800s. You will learn about mining history and how harrowing and challenging it was, and see the actual tools they used, and how techniques developed over time. You will see shafts and tunnels you cannot explore but remain from days of old that inspire the imagination. You will also hear some silly ghost stories, and even see how UV light illuminates the rocks and minerals in the mines. Interested in history, gold, geology, or mining? Even if you aren't, take this tour anyway! It's well worth it, and the guides do a great job.

Planning a honeymoon during COVID was not easy, but Kristi took the challenge head on and removed all the stress & worries completely away from us. We had to change plans last minute, and Kristi's recommendation for our honeymoon was absolutely magnificent. Very quickly, she pivoted our travel plans completely and had a brand new vacation ready for us within 1.5 months from leaving. We travelled to St. Lucia and stayed at Ladera Resort. It was the nicest place I've ever been. The resort and restaurant was incredible. Our room had a pool and didn't have a 4th wall, so we could enjoy the views of the Pitons from our bed! The quality of the service, food, etc. in a place that tropical is unmatched. It absolutely blew our expectations away. Kristi planned everything to the perfect detail and made it so easy for us. We had the most fantastic time. The views were breathtaking, the food was incredible, and our resort was perfect. Kristi even left us a gift of a picture frame with our brand new wedding pictures in our bed the first night. Kristi also planned an incredible sunset cruise, a perfect excursion (hike, waterfalls, volcanos, etc.), and a great wine & food pairing dinner! It was the best vacation we've ever been on. Kristi's hard work translated into the most relaxing, stunning, and memorable trip of our lives. We plan on coming back to Kristi for all of our big trips. She takes the stress out of planning and thinks through the intricate details that can be missed. We'll be back next summer to use her services for our 1-year anniversary!
