My visits are always met with friendly professional interaction, I've come to know a little bit of his story which is unusual for places like this but it has contributed to the welcoming sensation of having to go out of one's way for personal belongings. Every request I've made has been fulfilled with exemplary customer service with safety in mind. Prices are definitely competitive with a very new very cool climate controlled interior. None of my things have been broken into or stolen. In would openly recommend this for your things as well as follow it up with you can expect Stephen to deliver the attentiveness and service he doesn't neglect out waste time if he ain't there he's attending to something. Read the other reviews about them changing locks, being difficult to reach, not communicating, and so on - I'll vouch for all of these. Five stars for sustainability practices. Five stars for accessibility. Five stars for super friendly staff. I love that this storage facility is on lockdown and I am personally greeted every time I type in my personalized code with a little typed message. There are lots of dollies available down below if you need to load a bunch of goods up the elevator. Every time you walk in, it will remind you of an episode or storage wars. This isn't unique to GreenBox, as I feel this way in most storage spaces, but it's still pretty cool. Move in was easy, facility is nice, seems secure. My issue comes after storing my stuff here for ~3 months. Went on a Saturday to grab a few things, and there is a lock placed on my unit that is not mine. It was a green lock, that was also on several other units, so I presume it was placed there by management. Confused, because my bill is paid, I head down to the office, which according to the signage, should be staffed at this time. It was not staffed. Several calls to this location and another close by go unanswered. Eventually, someone responds to the text number posted on the doors. Abbreviating a few things here, a "manager" meets me at the unit, one hour after I first arrived and realized I couldn't access things. He is in the process of yanking the green lock off with his bare hands as I approach and ask why the lock was placed on there in the first place, and inquire as to why I wasn't notified of this *before* the lock was placed. His very rudely delivered reasoning was that I had two combination locks on my unit, and apparently that is not allowed, even though there are two holes for locks on the mechanism on the door. Oh also they don't "recommend" combination locks because they're not as secure... but they will add another lock that this (rather burly) man could yank off with his hands... okay? And I wasn't notified of this because "this location doesn't have a manager." I cannot emphasize enough how rude and nasty this man was to me throughout this entire interaction, when *they* had caused me a serious inconvenience without giving me the very basic courtesy of letting me know they were blocking from accessing my own unit. It had been going fine keeping my stuff here, but this experience was absolutely horrible and I am currently trying to decide if I want to cancel and move my stuff elsewhere just to not give them my business anymore or just deal with the horrible taste this left in my mouth until I move into a place that can accommodate all my stuff in a few months. Renting a storage unit with Greenbox RINO (Brighton Blvd) for the second time. I used the website exclusively in order to make arrangements. Got a confirmation call from a manager the next day to make sure everything was in order. Moved a large amount of things into a unit a few days ago and my movers remarked that this is one of the more cleaner, nicer storage locations they've worked with. + Relatively new building + Clean property inside and out + Multiple flat moving carts available + Multiple elevators + A surprisingly nice view of the mountains, not that you need that in a storage unit, but nice. Cleanest self-storage around! The prices are reasonable (especially if they still have the Yelp check-in offer that I used). Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient. They provide dollies for moving stuff in/out. I love their green initiatives (solar power, motion-sensitive lights, recycled materials in the building). SCAM, do not use this company! I tried to move into my unit (within operating hours) and was locked out for over 2 hours. In that time I called, emailed, and even drove to a seccond location where there was no one to help me. I had to scramble to find another unit the day of and now GreenBox is trying to charge me even though I was unable to move in. The cherry on top: It's been months and I've tried calling, emailed, leaving voicemails about terminating my lease with them and no-one has gotten back to me. I didn't know what I was missing until I found you, Greenbox Self Storage. Seriously though, the folks at Greenbox have taken every issue that typically come along with storage units and eliminated them. So let's knock out the basics: this place gets it done. The units themselves are temp controlled, clean, and come in different sizes for your needs. They've got plenty of dolly carts available for shlepping your stuff, nice bathrooms, and friendly staff. Forgot a lock or need a box? You can buy that at the front desk, easy! Now for the extras! Greenbox has a big, nice moving van that they let you use for free the day you move in. I totally took advantage of this and it saved SO much time--I was moving an entire storage unit and would've had at least three more trips if I had just been using my car. Their parking layout totally rocks as well. It's in a U shape, so you type in your custom code to open the gate, drive around to the door, load your things in, and take off. No hazard lights or parking meters necessary--this was my biggest gripe with my past storage unit, and I'm so relieved to have this problem solved. Greenbox is also incredibly energy efficient, hence the name. Always a plus! Prices are super competitive with other local storage units--make sure to use their Yelp deal for 50% off your first three months! I find the Brighton location to be convenient and central, even with all of the construction. I'm Greenbox's newest super fan and highly, highly recommend it! read more

These people are crooks. They promised me a refund on one month's rent both via email and verbally but it's been 2 months and I've yet to see the check. All of a sudden they tell me if I was a prepaid customer they don't refund. What liar's. I mean I have the email they sent whereas I was to get a refund and I even spoke with the manager who told me on a phone call that they would honor the refund. Still no check. I really love Greenbox storage. I will start by saying, I used another storage place prior to this Greenbox location. The other storage company started great, then management changed and things started to go south. I knew from the minute i set foot in Greenbox the experience was going to be a good one. The manager at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the front desk area was very clean and crisp looking. Move-in was a breeze. The building has it's own secured parking lot, so you never have to worry about feeding a meter in front of one of the other downtown storage units. You also have plenty of space to unload and load your stuff without having to worry about setting it in the street. Next to the elevators on the lower level are a number of flatbed type dollys. These are great to load up and take to your storage unit so you can avoid making multiple trips! The elevators themselves are nice and large, so if you are using the services of a friend, you can really load them up to save trips in going to the other floors. In addition to the clean lobby, the rest of the building is very clean. I have never had an experience where I was shocked or appalled by something I saw. (My old storage unit had issues with homeless people!) The hours are great too. Some places will charge you for access after 5 or 6pm, but Greenbox is open all the way to 10pm. You can your own code for the gates to the parking lot and the entrance to the building itself. Overall, I was really impressed by Greenbox. I have been using them for over a year now and it would take a lot for me to switch storage units! I have used another storage company in Denver and I was not impressed and moved to Greenbox. read more

I rented a unit a couple of weeks ago and went today to move things into my unit. I wasted an entire day along with my friend that agreed to help me. We arrived at my unit to find a green lock on my unit? I was not able access my unit and had to load everything back in my car and unload again when I got home. My company produces out-of-town events, so we are always in need of storage units in other cities where we can ship our event materials ahead of time. It's tricky to find a place that will let you set up your unit over the phone, sign for your packages, and put them in your unit until you get there. Luckily, Greenbox Self Storage in Denver was willing to work with us and they met all of our needs. Austin and Karen were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond in helping us receive and keep track of our packages, and we definitely could not have produced such a successful event without their help. Well, obviously I am not the only fan of this location. They need to have MORE stars. The Green Box , Brighton Blvd location is fantastically clean and modern. I put this fantastic staff through the paces across the several months I was stored my household goods; renting a unit, changing the size I wanted, adding ANOTHER unit and having packages shipped to the units. Not ONCE did they ever blink and better yet, they seemed pleased to say "yes" to my service requests. The VERY PROFESSIONAL staff treats you like a valued neighbor. If the units had windows, I would be just fine living there ;) In closing I would like to give an extra shout out to Bill! This was a great solution to my short-term storage needs! I'm really glad I came across a non-national company to support the local economy. Pros: Clean, safe, secure place with very friendly and hospitable staff. Bill at the front desk was helpful in every respect. The facility has a gate to get in and out of the place, and you're given a code to open them once you rent a unit. The interior is well-lit and and brand-new, it seems. Not a bit of trash or debris anywhere. Spotless. Flat dollies are available for your moving needs. Elevators take you up to your floor. Cons: Just one: the sliding glass door to get inside the building was non-functional on two occasions. My last trip there, the door was wide open. I wasn't too concerned but Greenbox should probably look at the motor. After moving my stuff in, I slid the door back to closed and tested my code to see if it would open, and it didn't work. So this would naturally be frustrating if I was the next person to stop by. Otherwise a great place for storage. NOTA BENE: make sure to buy a pad lock or something similar, since the units do not come with a locking mechanism. I bought a simple lock at Greenbox for $10. The door latch can take two locks. read more

My husband and I have been searching for a better storage unit than the creepy place we were at. I came across Greenbox because of some flyers left in my apt lobby. I must say we are very impressed!! Austin at the front desk is one of the coolest guys, and was extremely helpful and really down to earth. This place is a little bit more than we were paying but I don't mind because we now have peace of mind. Their storage hours are conducive to our working hours, and the building itself is really fancy! Overall, we are happy we made the decision to move our stuff here. Ok so I must admit, I am a terrible planner and waited until the very last second to find a storage unit. I thought I would check out greenbox because it is pretty close to my house and seemed like a safe place for my stuff. I was greeted at the desk by Anita, she was great super nice and walked through a couple of different size units with me, talked about how much stuff and what kind it was and reassured me if the unit wasn't the right size it would be an easy change. After moving in all of my stuff, I really like how well lit and clean greenbox is, it is defiantly a departure from the typical seedy storage units you see and the staff is great I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a storage unit. read more

I called a day prior to needing one of the smallest size units and they reserved one for me. The next day, they gave me a tour to see the actual unit. It's not drive in for my unit but I love the following aspects: - cleanliness of the building - unit height - availability of carts - ease of canceling when storage is no longer needed (after paid month is over, though I have yet to go through this process but inquired about it) - reasonable prices - secured entry and exit to storage area with unique code for each tenant One suggestion would be to draw a parking line or some signage at the loading/unloading area showing that 2 cars can fit in. When I pulled in, a car was parked right in the center so I had to park against the property wall and unload my stuff (dragging cart through snow/ice/slush). The guy was gracious enough to offer to move his car when I saw him later at the entrance so I can fit my car in but at that point, why bother. On the other hand, even if this suggestion was implemented, some people will be inconsiderate and park in the center anyway. Note: Place sells padlocks at the office. I found that padlocks with long shackle length will not work (at least with my unit) due to the construction of the door latch. read more

I came to Greenbox after having a horrible experience trying to get a unit at 2020 self-storage (no parking, no staff, confusing, expensive). This place is great. The staff is professional and helpful, the location is great and easy to find and has tons of available parking, and the price is awesome.
