Upon discovery, I consulted with the manager- and had to call Adams County sheriff. There was a video security camera aimed directly at my unit but the manager would NOT let us go through the recordings! I was devastated and believe it was in inside job- someone who works for the business. The gate requires a code. There is barbed wire above the fencing. Yes- I used my insurance, but did not realize there were different levels of value and only received $2K back. I absolutely HATE this business and have made sure to tell others to NEVER do business with them- as they are dishonest. They increased rates just 2 months after I moved in. The grounds were FILTHY with litter, trash, and crappy vehicles. After now reading others' experiences, I wish I would have hired an attorney and SUED them for having bad security cameras- appears most don't even work! What a sham. I am so upset- as one thing stolen was my Fiesta Ware dish set/collection I'd been collecting for more than 20 years. I had recently moved to Colorado and needed things stored for a few months. They didn't care, AT ALL, about my extreme sadness. I hate thieves- and was counting on this business to protect my goods. But they didn't. And I'll bet nothing has changed.

My mom had recently passed away so i even condenced her storage and put it in with my things as we were to be homeless for a few months waiting for our new place to give us keys. After 4 months the rate increased almost $100. They provide little to no warning about this. I would have never taken my things there had i known that the "good deal" that they advertized was so incredibly short lived. I am terminally ill and am physically unable to move out of there. Since then my rate has gone up every 6 months. It is now 381.00. Yet new customers are stil able to rent my same spot for less than $200. In addition to their price gouging, my unit was broken into. I had a bunch of family airlooms stolen. We caught the break in with in 48 hours of it happening yet they have zero survailence footage of my unit getting robbed. Their insurance that is mantatory extra $15.00 is a joke. It covers nothing. I am so pissed i am at a complete loss yet i still pay them religiously every month because im not about to loose my things that mean so very much. This place is jacked up. They took advantage of me. They only had a small box truck, our locker was only a 5X10. The place they were going to was less than 3 miles away. Once we got there, they were slow moving emptying the truck. When all was said and done, it took them almost 3 hours. Had to get that extra 15 minute's. Have another move in a month, will not use this company.

The former owners and staff were consistently gracious and friendly. Unfortunately, the experience has changed significantly under the new ownership. The service feels mediocre at best, and the added charges--such as $2 to print a return label and another $2 just to use their tape to seal a small box unless you purchase a full roll--make customers feel nickel-and-dimed. For better service and a more customer-friendly experience, I'd recommend going to UPS or FedEx instead.
