What a sham. My unit was broken into- appeared someone used a crowbar to bust my lock. They got more than $4k of my beloved goods. Upon discovery, I consulted with the manager- and had to call Adams County sheriff. There was a video security camera aimed directly at my unit but the manager would NOT let us go through the recordings! I was devastated and believe it was in inside job- someone who works for the business. The gate requires a code. There is barbed wire above the fencing. Yes- I used my insurance, but did not realize there were different levels of value and only received $2K back. I absolutely HATE this business and have made sure to tell others to NEVER do business with them- as they are dishonest. They increased rates just 2 months after I moved in. The grounds were FILTHY with litter, trash, and crappy vehicles. After now reading others' experiences, I wish I would have hired an attorney and SUED them for having bad security cameras- appears most don't even work! What a sham. I am so upset- as one thing stolen was my Fiesta Ware dish set/collection I'd been collecting for more than 20 years. I had recently moved to Colorado and needed things stored for a few months. They didn't care, AT ALL, about my extreme sadness. I hate thieves- and was counting on this business to protect my goods. But they didn't. And I'll bet nothing has changed. read more

The facility is okay, but the price has increased 60% in less than a year. That is an astronomical increase in such a short time!! I am terrified of how high it is going to continue to go up from here. read more

There is zero security here. An incident of multiple units getting broken into and units being emptied by thieves went completely unnoticed by staff. They lie about their security and cameras. There are very VERY few cameras. I was told none look towards my unit once I discovered my unit had been broken into. And the ones they had they wouldn't even glance at for any evidence. I doubt they even work. I was using their disc lock you buy from their rental office, so don't let them lie to you about how it's "fool proof". It's not. When I went to tell the guy I had a break in, a customer in the office got concerned and the employee looked smugly to the customer and said "Oh, you're using one of OUR locks, you're fine!" when I informed the employee I had one of their stupid disc locks on my unit, you should have seen his face. No security, no accountability, and they'll keep trying to charge you for your unit months after you drag the dregs of your belongings out of a broken and useless storage unit. Stay away! read more

This will go one of two ways. Either they make good, and get more stars, or they continue to act like jerks and get one: Had a unit there for about 9 months. Price was competitive, the facility clean, and staff accommodating (at first). We gave notice that we were vacating in plenty of time, and they charged us for the next month anyway. When called, they whined about a moving truck we hired that supposedly scraped a gutter, and told me it was my responsibility. First, one thing (the extra charge) has nothing to do with the other (alleged damage). They still have yet to resolve the extra charge after about ten calls. Second, the movers are bonded. If they did anything, it's on them as far as I'm concerned. You know what? Screw it. They're getting one star until they fix this mess! read more

The storage unit business must be good because the manager Ken, located at 6150 Leetsdale Denver CO is a jerk. I have contacted corporate 2X (surprise: corporate is aware of his behavior and will say he has been reprimanded on a number of occasions) about him and cannot believe he still has a customer-facing job. Ken also has the notoriety of being specifically mentioned more than any one human when reading reviews for this location or I'm guessing any business with reviews. There's a lot of competion out there. I highly recommend one shop around for storage. read more

Was always satisfied with the service until i closed my account. My payment was due on Jan 6 so i paid it as to not have a late payment but i needed my storage unit till the 13th...when i closed my account and was given a reciept that shows i am owed $127.60 back since i didnt use the whole month I was told to call on monday to get my money since she was just filling in at that location that day....so i called and was informed that since i paid over a week ago they couldnt refund any of my money. If you are looking for one of Denver's best storage options, look no further! I have been a customer at CubeSmart storage for a while there, and so is me wife, I have a large 10 x 30 and she has a 10 x 10. Their staff is very Professional, Courteous and Friendly, and is willing to do what it takes and more, to earn your business. The property is kept very clean and it is the most cost effective solution I have found, and I have used many different storage places in the past including a few Public Storage locations, Mini-U, Security Self-Storage, as well as other CubeSmart locations, and the one at 67th and Federal Blvd has been, by far, the best. The only reason I may consider going elsewhere for my storage needs is that I have the largest unit this location has to offer and may need a larger space in the future. Act fast, as their units get rented out quick, and some units have limited availability. read more

I have been renting a unit with Karen at this location for a long time. I have gone through a lot of difficulties in my personal life and Karen has always made sure I was taken care of. Following up with phone calls and messages, tirelessly. Karen has always gone above and beyond for me. I think this is a pretty good facility. The customer service thus far has been great. I originally booked a spot at the Northglenn location but had an issue with the way the unit was so I needed to book something else. I was sent to this location and the online discount was still honored by the manager. Friendly staff so far. The only reason I only gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is because I have only been there for a little bit and I guess there is still opportunity for things to either get better or turn sour. ROBBED! I rented a storage unit here a few months ago and was robbed within 3 hours. All my belongings were stolen in broad daylight. The manager here refused to turn over security videos to the police until they threatened to subpoena them. When they finally saw the videos, the cameras were such poor quality that no evidence could be obtained. CubeSmart was incredibly unhelpful and unconcerned. I would NEVER rent from them ever again, and would not wish this on anyone. read more

Good quality storage units, easy access to everything and great location for me,and the service from the employees was excellent!

After having had terrible experiences with other storage companies, I came to this CubeSmart without knowing exactly how big of a unit I would need and a general apprehension that I would once again end up paying far too much money for far too little space. Instead, Keagan and Karen patiently worked with me to set me up in an appropriate unit and even went beyond the call of duty to accommodate my tight schedule. This location was ideal for us because it was in our neighborhood, but it wound up being a really great storage facility. We never had any issues with payment and the office staff was always nice and friendly. Good pricing. Good hours to access your locker and plenty of room for the moving trucks to come through.
