Office is by appointment only but does not have this posted anywhere. Called 4 times using different "#'s" and could not get through.... One agent hung up on me because while I was venting I would not "let him finish". I finally got a hold of a helpful agent Cleo. He was more patient and allowed me to be heard instead of insisting I "let him finish" like the previous representative.... Update the info I was told by a phone rep is different than the site rep. I stored my camper here over the winter and came back to find my camper was broken into and homeless had been living there. I was told the cameras were not working and there is nothing that they can do. I put in a police report. If you have a vehicle, it is not safe here. A man stopped when I was with the police and he told me that he saw that the door was open two weeks before and had reported it. I never received a call, notification, email or anything. I would recommend finding somewhere else. read more

My unit is north facing and they never plowed the snow next to the door after the big snow storms we had. It has never melted away and now its sheer ice. I cant even open the door. Its frozen shut. Snow and ice has been there for 10 days and noone has bothered to clear it. I asked them to clear it and all they did was put salt down at the door bottom so i could at least get the door open. But i am still walking on a sheet of ice read more

This is not a critique of this facility. I was treated exceptionally well by the staff. My complaint is about the misleading dimensions of the 10x20 units. I need to store a long car and required every bit of the 20 feet. After measuring the depths of seven units in almost as many buildings, NONE came close to 20 feet. The nearest was 19' 2". Some were as short as 18" 4" or a loss of about 120 cubic feet. Multiplied by over 100 units, that's a lot of misrepresented storage space -basically cheating the customer. The agreement says that spaces may vary, but this is far more than a couple of inches. And it's a KNOWN issue! read more

Had multiple payment issues. My 30 ft camper was stolen from this "secured" property and the staff have been zero help. They have cameras only on the front of the building, nowhere else. The denver police even told us this is one of the worst storage facilities in the area. I'd be surprised if this isn't occurring weekly or even daily. Sketchy. Sketchy. Sketchy. I rented a 10x15 storage unit for eight months while my home was being built. At the six month mark, they significantly increased my rental rates without notifying me. And then pointed to the "contract" to tell me it was their right to do so. Funny thing is, the currently advertised price for my unit was only $108 and I'm now paying $167. I quickly contacted them only to find out that the people on-site have no say in anything meaningful and you get referred to corporate. Takes days to get a call back and that's only if you keep calling. And basically they said, "yeah, we know it's not fair but you can downsize to a smaller unit." No thanks. And good luck to me to try to get someone to acknowledge I'm leaving at the end of next month so they don't make me pay this much higher rate for even longer. Do Not Rent Here. Unless you like being a fool. read more

No communication with each other (management to employees, etc) or employees to customers.

Public Storage is charging me for a 10x40 unit (400 sq ft) however when I moved in, the unit is nowhere that big, measures at 8.25 feet x 38 feet (313 sq ft) which is over 20% smaller than advertised. When I contacted them, they just said that unit sizes are approximate. This is fraud and they could advertise it as 50x100 feet under their logic. I just wish to have a refund as I am no longer interested in this unit based on their deceptive practices. read more

The price increases at this location, like all of their others locally and nationally, are outrageous. I rented a 10'x10' space in September of 2023, at an introductory rate of $96. I understood that this was a rate designed to get me in the door, and that I could expect an increase at some point. After three months my rent increased to $126. A couple of months later, this rate became $156. I complained about this to the local property manager, and she was able to request and receive a three-month adjustment back to $126. My rent returned to $156, and now after two months at that rate, I receive notice yesterday that this month's rent was now $203. A rent increase of over 100% in eight months is indefensible. I contacted Public Storage corporate, filed an account adjustment request, and was denied. This company will charge whatever it is able until it is held accountable. I'm thinking that Tom Martino, or similar media mouthpiece, needs to shine a light on Public Storage's arbitrary and predatory pricing strategy. read more

Choose a different storage- unless you like zero customer service, meth addicts, broken storage walls and a really messed up billing scheme that sets up auto pay for storages they switch you out of because the neighbor collapsed the wall. Homeless people live there using the bathrooms to do drugs. They will happily call you to let you know you've missed your payment (even though you set up auto-pay). read more

Great to begin with. After several years the rent was more than double a new rental. So - short term only. Carts were being stolen so the solution was to penalize everyone - carts only available at the office, leaving your drivers license with them. Came here to rent a unit for a few months while we move. Front desk and lobby was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. A very nice younger lady (Tyler or Tammy??) helped me out and showed me several units of versions sizes (I had 0 idea what I was doing) and helped me pick the best one for our needs. I especially appriciateed how patient (I think her name is Tyler-sorry if I am wrong) was with everything. I had no idea what I was doing and I was extremely stressed out walking into the Public Storage. I left feeling good about my purchase and muxh less stressed out then when I walked in. Thanks again! If you don't want your things stolen 10/10 I do not recommend. I wasn't even given the option for insurance and they said it wasn't an option to not have it haven't notifying them it was. It clearly seemed like an inside job. Nothing to do with the phone call we made but our own personal lock was missing or cut off from the unit, and one of their locks with their logo was on the unit. The guy at the front desk said he couldn't help us because it wasn't our lock. They had to cut it off because they "didn't have" the key. Pile of bullshit. Personal, irreplaceable items were stolen. read more

Disappointed that I find out my storage unit has been broken into. Part of the reason for using PS is the safety. On the plus side, they put a PS lock on my unit but tell me the only person who can open it will be the owner. I am living in Florida now, not Colorado! I need my son to access the unit and take a video so I have some idea what was taken but they will not allow it. Needless to say I am frustrated and will get my stuff out of there as soon as I can! read more

I made reservations online to store my motorhome. All the necessary information was completed online, so all I had to do was drive to the facility and park the vehicle. However, upon arrival, I entered my gate code and drove into the facility. It had snowed pretty heavily the day prior and I was unable to locate my assigned space. I went to the main office for support, where I encountered two employees. One was an older gentleman the other a female employee. I informed them of my situation and asked if they could assist me in locating my parking space. In the text message I received from them, it appeared my space had a four-digit designation, when in fact it was a combination of a letter and numbers. After obtaining the correct information on the space, I went once again in search of my space. The problem now was there were no obvious visible markings anywhere. So, I went back to the front office, at which time the older male employee was walking to his car. I told him I had no idea where my parking space was or how to find it. He pointed it out to me, which is what they should have done initially. It would have saved me a whole lot of confusion and frustration. Once I located the space, I was able to brush away some of the snow on the ground covering the barely visible, faded space number. Overall, this initial visit to the facility was less than pleasant or expected. read more
