The facility is nice, all storage is indoors, and the staff is great. My issue is twofold. First our unit was broken into twice and we were not the only ones. We have spoken to other customers while onsite and they too have mentioned being broken into. They only have cameras on the exits, not on the rows. I get camera systems can be expensive but when you have had numerous people complain and state they have been broken into, you would think they would invest a bit to help with security. The other major issue is the rates changing every couple of months. Don't give me the market rate crap. You increase my rate by almost $100 and tell me it is market rate. No, it is not. If I booked a unit the same size as I have now online, I would get it at a substantially cheaper, I just have to move it into a new unit. Plus, they system lets you pick the unit, so you can see the available inventory. Yet you are not willing to work with your existing customers. Do you know how many people would be willing to sign actual leases and not be month to month? read more

I would recommend to the company that they disclose all promotional details (re: how many months the rate is valid) in writing prior to signing the lease agreement so all expectations are clear instead of receiving a 30-day notice raising the rent $100 "based on current market conditions" although if you are a new customer the rate is lower than what my new rent is. Kind of misleading and inconvenient. read more

April has called to let me know my payment wasn't received; that I left my unit unlocked and to follow up on payment preferences. So much better service than I have heard others have at competitor storage places. The facilities are always comfortable, clean and have never seen water inside in the 6 years we have had storage units there. I have seen repair people out when needed for concrete, and upgrade items. Very happy. I need short-term storage for some furniture I was purchasing and Extra Space made it really easy to get setup, get a good deal, and get me in the unit without having to take time off during the day to come during regular hours. The unit is really clean and exactly as described. The employee I dealt with clearly listened to my situation because she made sure the unit I got was near the unit of the person selling the furniture - they know their tenants and what is happening there. I am looking for "large" permanent storage facility for my company. I looked at all the typical facilities around Highlands Ranch, Englewood, DTC, and so on. They were all the same. Basically, a barn with a door. Literally exposed to the extreme outdoor elements of Colorado, except for a thin aluminum overhead door. Then, I remembered seeing an office building, that had been converted to storage, at 8000 South Park Way, down the street from my dog's vet. I stopped in, and was very professionally and pleasantly greeted by the manager, April Driscoll. She was meticulous in her information, and very proud of her clean as a hospital, hallways and storage areas. To be honest, I was astonished, as to how beautiful (Yes, beautiful) the facility was. It has loading docks in the rear, security gates, 6AM-10PM 7 days a week access, and to my pleasant surprise, they had a 10X25' storage for my company. You deserve this place, whether, like me, you are storing valuable company property, or just your apartment things. They have all sizes, are climate controlled, extremely secure, and of course clean. And the best part is April and her staff treat you like family. I'm a client for life. read more

I've had a unit going on almost 2 years now. This morning I decided to take a trip and look for a few things. I had completely forgotten my unit number but April was extremely helpful and friendly. We discussed the possibility of a smaller unit but this location is pretty much at capacity (due to amazing service). I went about my way to my unit and literally within 15min April came to my unit to let me know a smaller unit had just become available! She made sure to show it to me and offered the best deal for my current situation. This type of service is unheard of these days. I'm so thankful for April on this day. I left my car in one of their parking spaces for two months and everything was still intact when I retrieved it. The staff members are super friendly and reassured me that all my belongings would be safe. It was very easy to get everything set up and the price was phenomenal--though the add on fees cost about as much as the space itself (60 a month still isn't bad regardless). My only complaint is that they still charged me for a third month, even though I only agreed to pay for two months and made sure my car was out by then. I had to call once or twice about it but I got a refund. read more
