I would ship boxes of clothing from this location, usually about five boxes. Then we could travel with small suitcases. Every box arrived safely, on time, and undamaged. A few months ago, I had to ship a purse to Louis Vuitton for repair. They sent me mailing labels, and a form for UPS to sign stating that it was a high-value item. The owner called me to tell me that a driver refused to sign it, but he would ask another driver. It took two tries, but he finally called me and said my purse was on its way! They're really nice, helpful people here. I stopped in today to drop off a giant lithium battery for a snowblower that only worked once. Apparently, it couldn't be dropped off at Whole Foods or Kohl's because I had to package it. So the UPS Store was my only choice for this particular Amazon return.

I had two urgent packages requiring overnight delivery to the West Coast, and paid through the nose…read morefor next day Air. I tracked the packages as they went the opposite direction to the East Coast, then back over to the West Coast, but 800 miles from their destination. From there, they were DRIVEN ground 800 miles North to about 20 miles from their destination, where they then just sat overnight. One of the packages was then delivered the next day (2 days late). The other package was then put on a truck and driven 800 miles South again (?!?!), again sat overnight, then was driven back North the next day, where it arrived 3 days late. Whoever is in charge of UPS shipping/routing logistics is MENTALLY RET@RDED. The amount of wasted fuel and manpower is truly staggering!!! The UPS Store promised for weeks that I would get a refund, but the money never came. (FedEx is sadly no better, having experienced the same thing last year.) So be warned... if you have a critical package requiring overnight service: take it to USPS, as miserably bad as they too can be. UPS will promise you overnight service, then take your money knowing full well that your package cannot possibly arrive on time with the routing logistics they have in place. UPS routing logistics are a known quantity within the company, and I refuse to believe their stores are clueless as to when packages will arrive. In response to UPS Store reply: I understand you don't control UPS routes or execution, but I was told by your clerk that it would arrive the next day, so your employees should not be making such suggestions. UPS' main office was pretty much impossible to get ahold of anyone to file a claim as well. Typical of today's business... zero accountability, just pass the buck! I find it impossible to believe the UPS Store isn't aware or familiar with UPS shipping routes and transit times, so the unrealistic expectation of overnight delivery to the West Coast by first shipping it to an East Coast hub should have been a red flag and conveyed before accepting my money. There was no way those packages were ever going to arrive overnight and UPS was happy to let me think otherwise.

While moving from Centennial to Co Springs we had rented a U-Haul and thought, psh.. we got this!…read more(just the 2 of us...). Then we came to our senses and realized it was going to take us forever and we are definitely not spring chickens! So we started calling around for quotes on moving our 2 bedroom condo to a home in the springs. We spoke to Sherry who provided all the hourly costs for 2 guys and for 3 guys on a Saturday with a $30 charge for gas since it was an out of town move. Not too bad. We weren't sure exactly how long it might take but we anticipated the move would be about $1500. On moving day the truck (giant truck) pulled up and 3 happy guys greeted me. Mike, Justin, and Pena. They took a look around and got right to work. They had us out of the old house in about 2 hours and handled everything with extreme care! As they were finishing securing everything in the truck we left ahead of them to head to the new house. Thinking they would take much longer than us we started unloading our cars and they pulled up behind us immediately! Moving in was much simpler since we just wanted all the boxes in the garage and all of the furniture in the living room. They cleaned up their truck, settled the final bill, and went on their way. Ended up being about $1400 and worth every penny to be all moved in with out the aches and pains and days it would have taken us!

Cierra and I set up a time to meet at my mother's place, discuss the move, tour the apartment, and inventory major items to be relocated. At that point, she was able to provide a very reasonable estimate that included everything from packing, transporting, unpacking and setting up the new room. A day later, she even designed a floor plan to ensure proper furniture placement. The entire move was managed without me ever needing to step foot in either facility on packing or move day. When I arrived at my mother's new place, it was as if a magic act had been performed. AMHWC had replicated the previous, comfortable and familiar environ to my mom's new home -- right down to replacing hundreds of collectible items in cases and arranging pictures on the walls to closely mimic how they'd been hung before. If you want a seamless move covered tip to stern by professionals, I highly recommend this team.

My friend had to make the bed, set up the bathroom, put up the lamps, and hang the rest of the pictures. They are supposed to be the professionals who could plan this all out, but they were not prepared and were supposed to help until 4p but left by 2:30p. They blamed it on the movers and my friend. Really the stressed-out one was my friend as her dad loses his memories, and she is out thousands of dollars for not much help.

I will never use U-Haul or their moving services ever again. U-Haul completely screwed us over on…read morethis move. I ordered a truck based on the estimated size on their website. DO NOT TRUST THIS ESTIMATE! It turns out the truck was way too small. On moving day, the first movers I got through U-Haul came out and got the truck 90% loaded and finally told us our things would not fit. It wasn't even close. They knew long before they used up their 2 hours of moving, but decided not to tell us. They left knowing we were in a very bad situation. Now it's scramble time. I had to call U-Haul to get a new truck. They stuck it to me on pricing knowing that I was in a desperate situation. The new charges were over $2,000 more than the original truck. I didn't have a choice and they knew it. Now we had to get another moving company since the first company bailed on us. Once again we used the U-Haul team to find movers. The first company that we used didn't even show. They sent a text message AFTER the time they were supposed to be there saying they couldn't make it. The next company was able to make it and we were grateful they showed up. Finally we were able to transfer the stuff from the first truck to the new truck and get the rest of our things out of our home. When we go to our destinaion, the moving company that unloaded the truck damaged almost all of our furniture and damaged mutliple doors and walls in our new home. When contacting U-Haul, they said they were not liable and that I needed to contact the mover. Upon contacting the mover through U-Haul's MovingHelp.com website, they claimed they didn't do any damage and would not provide any insurance information. Now we are stuck with THOUSANDS of dollars of damage to furniture and our new home with nobody claiming any responsibility. Needles to say this is the last time we will ever use U-Haul or their moving services. Please take this warning and do NOT use their services.
