Within a few minutes we had a call from Ryan, he was ready right then, and we were able to move in an hour later. The whole process was great. If you decide to use the Public Storage located at 5775 Jellison in Littleton Colorado please make sure you read the fine print. Every little bit of it because if you make one mistake the manager is going to treat you like you're a child disrespecting her whole family and then kick you off the premises and prevent you from renting storage space there. I have never ever in my 48 years of life been treated so disrespectful. It was my first time renting there or anywhere. If she would have came at me politely and was like "hey I don't know if you might have missed this in the fine print in the policy but you can't be doing that", things would have been fine but I asked her why she had to be so rude and disrespectful to us. I asked her why she couldn't come talk to us like human beings not like animals. And because I confronted her about the way she was treating us they left a note on our door that we have to be out. People like that should not be working in customer service at all because you don't talk down to people like they're inhuman and like their children disrespecting you or what not. I'm sorry if your children do disrespect you, you don't have to be treating other human beings like that. I work in customer service and I can never ever understand how somebody can treat another human being the way she treated us. read more

The service at this location is ridiculous! No one is ever here and even when you set up a time to meet with them they don't show up. They expect you to have enough room in your unit to make a path for repairs and are not willing to help at all unless you wanna move all your stuff to a new unit. The manager is not very nice at all or helpful. Once you have had your unit for 6 months they increase your rent by almost 50%. If I could give it a negative stats I would. read more

For $200 a month this place is not worth it, the lady that works there is rude and has harassed us, she drove by us and literally just said (rudely) "in or out", she didn't even tell us who she was, we assumed she was some random person. So we asked who she as if we should know or care who she is because it's none of your business that I'm here taking some stuff out of my unit. I wasn't moving in or out. Finally moved all of our stuff out of this place and went to a place that has better prices and better people. read more

Some unit locations better than others my last place I was paying through the nose for outside units even though it was an older location. fortunately they built one closer to where I live, I like it much better (completely inside) and about 1/2 the price for same unit size! customer service is amazing! My husband and I had 2 10x20 units at the Bowles Ave/ Littleton CO location, from our out of state move this summer. And last week on one day, we had 5 movers, 2 trucks, and a very packed schedule for moving out and getting everything to our new house. James, the manager, was on-time to open the building and was great in promptly working with my husband, facilitated fast ingress/egress for our many upcoming loads by opening one elevator for freight and setting open the entrance sliders to avoid entering codes every load. During the move, James worked with us to close out the accounts for our units, deal with locks, etc. -- so no extra time was required there. At the end of the move-out, James unlocked the trash dumper and allowed us to throw away a few things, a huge help. In summary -- James did a great, helpful, responsive job in facilitating our huge and very tight-scheduled loading and moveout. Husband thanked him verbally, but we also believe employees like James should be recognized to others and to their bosses! read more

This place is a joke and their customer service was so rude. I tried to make a reservation online. I could not checkout without paying for insurance. So I called and they told me they would charge me for insurance even though I did not need it. They allow you to opt out in person but if your in a different state like I am, you have to pay for insurance or they won't reserve your unit. Don't use this place if your out of state! Feels scammy that they won't allow a reservation online without paying their insurance. read more

Rick did a great job assisting me with my 5x5 unit I rented today. He did a thorough job explaining all the policies around renting the unit. The hidden insurance fee caught me off guard at the time of rental and should probably be explained for online reservations for customers. Units are very clean. My unit is temperature controlled which is awesome. I can keep my electronics in there without having to worry about the heat or the cold. I've been in the unit while it was raining and I saw no leaks. Security is good. Prices are more than what I'm used to, but I used to live in the middle of nowhere and the unit I had wasn't temperature controlled. :P Overall good experience. The people are very nice. Needed a storage facility while visiting my aunt in Colorado and literally reserved a space on the fly. Within minutes I had a storage space, all done over the phone. Showed up with moving truck and movers following. "Rick" was professional and thorough. He escorted the movers to the rental space and they began unloading while went back to the office to finish paperwork. Fast and efficient with one phone call. And let me just add that the office and rental space were very clean. WOW! read more

When I first moved my stuff here, it was great because it was extremely close to my apartment and my monthly rate was $47 a month. When I showed up, they tried to switch it to $59 a month which I didn't like but they switched it back when I told them I had the online price reserved. I used the facility for 4 months and got a lot of stuff moved into it. I primarily used it for storing motorcycles that I would use on the weekends, so I was in and out of the unit frequently. It takes a lot to move a motorcycle in a truck though and I was content on staying here until my apartment's lease expires in 14 months. 4 months in, I got an email saying that "in order to provide a good experience they would be raising my rate to $73 per month." I have no idea how that provides me a better experience, but I can say for sure, I will never be renting from Public Storage again. This was clear bait and switch considering they hiked my rent by 55% after an extremely short period of time. I've filed a complaint with the CO attorney's office and will be filing a small claims case as well looking for damages incurred for having to find a moving service for my stuff after such a short period of time. This company knows that once you move in, it is very difficult to move again, so they bank on moving costing more than a price hike so you stay there. read more

I am not real pleased with this storage facility. I have not been able to get ahold of any office staff. It doesn't matter when I stop by, when they first open, middle of the day, or close to close there is never anyone in the office. I leave voicemails for the office no response. I left an envelope on the door with my notice to vacate with request of receipt, not response. It has been a mess and I am sure I will be charged for an additional month because they are going to claim they never received the written notice, but I have had no other way to get this resolved as I cannot find an email and no one will return my calls. Highly recommend finding an alternate option to store your valuables. read more

I needed a storage unit on short notice (same day). I contacted Public Storage and was directed to a location near my home. Once I got there, I found out that location didn't have a drive-up unit available. I was referred to a nearby location (Jellison Street) that had a unit that fit my needs. Rick was very helpful in renting my 5x10 unit. He explained everything I needed to know and showed us the unit prior to signing anything. The only surprise was the insurance fee that I found out about when I signed the rental paperwork. It would have been good to know about that in advance. Overall it was a good experience. The unit was clean and ready to go right away. read more
