I was overcharged by Greenbox. When I moved in I was denied the free month because I was told I used the truck, only to find out a friend who rented the same time got both the free month and the use of the truck. I then told them a month ahead of time I was moving out and was made to pay for an entire month two days before I moved out. They then wanted confirmation of my move out so they can rent it again while I had the unit paid for for the entire month. This is $660. extra I've had to pay as well as they're going to re-rent my unit making them another $330. Very greedy practice. The manager was very unhelpful and gaslighted me when I told him I didn't ask for the free month at the time. read more

We are in the process of moving and needed a place for temporary storage. The manager was very helpful in our initial consultation of the size and location options of the unit. Very impressed with how clean and well lit it is. And I appreciate the "green" nature of the building. We've never rented a storage unit before, and Greenbox has set the bar very high! It was a great help to have the truck for our move in and it was easy to drive. Today, we had to rent a second, smaller, unit as we had maxed out the large unit we first rented. The manager gave me a great deal as we were already tenants and it's perfect for what we need. As I was walking back to my car though, I saw that somehow I had gotten a flat tire! Don't worry, my tires weren't slashed! There was a piece of metal embedded in the tread. Anyway, the manager, upon seeing me jack the car up, came out and offered to help remove the tire. This is a level of service that goes above and beyond expectations. While I hope we don't need a storage unit on a regular monthly basis, we will definitely seek out a Greenbox location the next time we're in the market for storage. Highly impressed!! read more

No one is ever there even though hours are clearly posted at the door normal business hours. Entrance to building near the security gates have the capability to open further for larger items, but was recently told not to open them because "they were broken". No notice anywhere stating this, just being scolded like we were 5 yrs old and not to open doors wider. Closing acct very soon there and finding better facilities. read more

Mostly a great experience here and I agree with all positive points left by the other reviewers. The big caveat I wish I had known about before signing here, after one year of renting I have had 2 price increases, one at 6 months (+$10) and again at 1 year (+$10). Taken altogether this is a 30% increase of price in a year, more than 10x the rate of inflation. Not happy about this and may look elsewhere. read more

I spoke with Dave regarding my unit. The manager was very quick to respond. They sent text messages related to storage unit, covid-19 procedures and protocols in place. Outstanding 360-degree service, Dave the boss is much more than five stars, he worked with us for weeks until we were able to align many different variables, our house sale and move, storage items going to different locations at different times, location and size of storage unit. Very much appreciated his supportive, problem solving approach, with discussion of pros and cons, where stress can be high and timing can be tricky. Went to the huge national storage place first, all they had was a 10x10 on the third floor. The guy didn't have time to answer half my questions. Moving an entire house up an elevator through a hallway maze wasn't an option for me. Greenbox is different. Vivian got me a ground level 10x25 with the first month free and they loan you a huge box truck for the whole day of your choice. I can't recommend this place more, it's so casual, it's like if your buddy owned it and got you all the perks. read more

The Pros: The staff is wonderful at the Centennial location behind Ikea. The price is better than the Uhaul storage I was paying and I have longer access hours. Greenbox lets you utilize their moving truck for a set timeframe or reimburse up to a certain amount for using your own truck if their truck is not available. Very clean and great location for me. The Cons: They used every inch of space for storage units instead of making the pathways and corners large enough to handle their carts and the loads we put on the carts. The space to turn your carts to get in and out of the elevators is extremely tight, I have to wiggle back and forth to make it work. I suggested a couple months ago that they open the doors to units in front the the elevator to make turning easier, hasn't happened yet. :( The other annoying thing is having to type in a pin code once inside the gate every couple minutes as the door to access the building doesn't stay unlocked when moving in. You need to enter a gate code to leave instead of it sensing you are pulling up to leave. You can purchase a fob for an additional price instead of entering code. Either way still seems like a pain to me. read more

We spent a lot of time researching and looking for a new storage facility. This company and specifically Dave made the transition process so amazing that we prepaid for 2 years in advance. They were incredible help in every step of the process. Very accommodating and answered every question we had. The convenience of the facility along with the access to rent a truck anytime you need it. Very clean and secure building and a manager who cares. Don't bother with any other locations. Extremely clean and well lit. The staff was very helpful setting me up with the right unit for me instead of just pushing me towards a larger unit.
