Sherrie is top notch!!! I rented a unit online this morning (which was easy enough), then realized I wanted a larger space! Called Sherrie, the property manager, who cordially handled my upgrade while my movers were loading the truck at my nearby apartment. By the time I arrived less than an hour later, I was able to send my movers directly to the new larger unit to start unloading, I walked into the office and she literally had my paperwork pulled up on the screen ready to sign. The registration/rental process was so smooth. Everything was done with the click of my phone and only took 5 mins to submit the application. They provided the lock for the unit and by the time I clicked submit they sent me the gate code and which storage unit was mine and I was good to go. I've been using this facility since 2014. Since Sheri had been there she has been nothing but nice. When there are discounts or changes of rates beyond her control, she let's me know. I rarely take time to write reviews for I am usually merely satisfied to somewhat slight disappointment with related service issues as a customer. When someone shows the effort to assist you and lets you know without saying, "Whatever it takes", my day gets better. I have the authority to praise great experiences and service coming from 36 years of restaurant & hospitality, but society as a whole is exactly that, we are all service industry barters, Sherri, not sure of the spelling, and Mike, (I only hope that's your name dude, sorry) assisted me from my 1st inquiry, throughout the day with phone follow ups and into sealing the deal before the days close. I have reserved a space but not used it yet but I noticed when visiting that about the 10 to 15' of the parking lot closest to the office is covered with snow and ice. I talked to the regional manager, Chris Goodwin, and he said that there was nothing they could or would do about it. Their callous disregard for the safety of their customers is very disappointing. One of their staff members had time to stand in the parking lot and visit with what I assume was family but he didn't have time to tend to the ice and snow. Don't tell me you don't have the tools or that it is not part of their job description as all your excuses add up to a callous disregard for the safety of your customers. read more

I moved in two and a half years at one of those great rates you see advertised, with one dollar the first month. At first it was a really good deal but I've been plagued with periodic rent increases (at least 3 or 4) since then, and my rent has gone up significantly. I have a 10 by 25 unit which currently advertises for $202 in Highlands Ranch, and I think when I moved in at the Englewood location it was even better. My new rent as of next month will be $320. I called the company headquarters when I received the first rent increase, but they were unsympathetic, and it does not seem to matter than I am a good customer and have rented from them in Washington state, too. To be fair, the staff here is very helpful, friendly, really nice, and professional and they get 5 stars. But the company they are saddled with treats long-term customers with disdain. Further, I don't recall these kind of rent increases when I lived in Washington, so my rating is two stars for "Meh. I've experienced better." TL;DNR -- Public Storage is great if you're renting short-term, but if not, look elsewhere. I can't say if all storage companies do this, but be forewarned your rent will go up *significantly* the longer you stay. read more

Great location, easy access to units. Drive up units are apparently at a premium these days, I talked to on site management to find out when they would have availability and she kept me posted on units about to vacate, allowing me to rent at the exact location I wanted. read more

Danny was professional, quick, efficient and honored the on line agreement without pushing any of the ancillary revenue centers, ie insurance, locks etc. He has a very pleasant and service oriented demeanor and he remembered I had leased there in the past as well as noticing one of the people given access to the unit had leased from him. Based on my previous experience with self storage this was a very pleasant surprise. His positive attitude will generate clients that become very sticky. Recommend you take this survey again at the conclusion of a clients lease. read more

I'm learning in this state you just shouldn't tell people anything your doing with your life, because they will judge you and also use it against you. So here today at this public storage I called them at about 2:30 PM and made sure that if I leave work early they will still be able to help me out with a face to face sale of the unit. When I arrive the young lady already seemed agitated, so I proceeded to let her know why I was going to be needing a unit and why I reserved two different units. As we were talking about the unit, she let me know that I will be needing insurance and asked what type of insurance I've been needing, so I proceeded to ask her why I was going to be needing any insurance if I didn't want any and she proceeded to let me know that it was mandatory, but wouldn't explain to me why it was mandatory when that was my main question before proceeding with payment. After her continuously repeating that I would need said insurance, she then stop speaking about the insurance and started to repeat to me while I was asking her if she wouldn't mind explaining what is the reason for her not wanting to sell me a unit, that "public storage might not be the best fit for me" and by continuously, she said it over 10 times and also told me she would not be providing me a unit today. I wrote inquiry hoping someone would get back to me before the end of the day today, that did not happen the authorities were just called on me while I was waiting for a callback in front of the location. I also called the district manager Gretchen Zepeda (excuse the misspelling of the last name.) And I am currently waiting for a response. Oh and I also recorded the conversation, so when she denied me service, I ask why and she proceeds to tell me that I can leave the store with my recording. The energy that most of these managers that have no present supervisor give out is out right disrespectful and insane to say the least. For people not liking me I'm continually denied of services, for being me, without disrespect and as my uncle would say, giving too much information, has put me in a situation just like this almost every week. Colorado needs to do better as a state. No I will not be posting the recording but will forward it to that district manager. Sherrie the store manager, does not deserve to be a manager! read more

The process was seamless -- the on-site staff was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and eager to help; the website where I made the reservation was clear, intuitive, and easy to use. Public Storage requires prospective clients to physically view the unit prior to making a commitment, and on the tour, I saw that the unit I had selected was easily accessible, sparkling clean, and in excellent condition. read more
