When we started to move in, we found that the unit is actually not quite 10' by just over 12' (a difference of nearly 42 s.f. total). We of course cannot store our longer construction materials in the unit, then, without wasting a tremendous amount of space. I contacted the facility several days ago asking for a solution, but have not received a call back yet today as promised. We will probably look for another unit elsewhere hoping for a more responsive staff and more accurate pricing/sizing of units.

"Why are you going in there alone?" "Why are you turning down that dark scary hallway?" The elevator is kind of scary and old and the flickering fluorescent lights are a bit unnerving, but all seems relatively well and safe here. Sure, I'm used to living in the suburbs. But I still feel like it's not terribly convenient to have a storage unit off a big busy street with meter parking (maybe you get a spot right out front, maybe not) when you're trying to pick up heavy boxes of stuff and get them to your car. They have dollys and all, but it's still odd to me to be wheeling personal items down Broadway to your car. Keep in mind they have standard biz hours so you can't make any late night stops!
