Emily S. we tried to call you at the number given and no one knew who you were. The people in the office where we have our storage unit were no help and basically, told us that "its supply and demand". I asked if that meant they had so many people renting they didn't care about currently paying customers. She said yes. Additionally, the only way we can get our $60 refund is to take a credit on paying more money to them. They said their system is incapable of doing refunds. SO BUYER BEWARE!! Not sure what, EXACTLY is going on with these reviews but my review of 'Extra Space Storage" is so different I must conclude someone got their friends to post positive reviews. This is what happened to us. We rented a small unit for about $109 a month and 2 months later we get a notice by mail stating that the cost would double, DOUBLE. It seems the establishment waited until we got all our stuff moved in before making the announcement to bend us over. We spoke to this "Ann" person who said it was out of her hands. Pretty typical, right? The odd thing is that on their website the lower rate is still there. We're vacating the unit but I think this game is common among storage rental facilities. We live in a society where price gouging happens everywhere. Go to any grocery store or clothing store, heck, go to a thrift store and price gouging happens everywhere but a storage unit? Pretty ridiculous so don't get fooled by the positive reviews, they're probably all a scam too especially when every single one of them has a 5 star rating! I would hate to think out of all the people who visit this place that I'm the only one getting ganked! read more

Gate broken for a couple weeks, was not made aware and wasted a whole morning trying to access my storage as nobody was in the office during office hours. Had only been there a few months and then received a notice that my $129 monthly rent was increasing by $100. read more

I can't say enough great things about this ExtraSpace Storage location. Anne and Sherry are incredibly kind, professional, and consistently on top of everything. When I hit a rough patch financially, Anne went above and beyond to make sure I didn't lose my unit to auction -- and she did so with compassion and respect, never judgment. That level of care meant the world to me. I'm still a current renter and plan to continue storing here for as long as I need the extra space. Highly recommend this location -- 10/10 experience. read more

I called for information and Paige was very helpful and patent. Answered every question I had. Will defiantly get a space there.

This place is secured, affordable and easy to access. I got a small storage unit and was able to put a family of 3s things in it for less than 100$ a month. It is gated with a key code to get into the units and you have a key lock to access your stuff. Units also come with free insurance in case it floods or something happens to your stuff. Happy knowing my belongings are safe. read more

They overcharged me compared to what they advertised, and then when I asked why they had no answer for me. Then, they refused to renew my lease. I would look for a different place to store your stuff; you can get a better deal elsewhere. read more

I'm getting out of my storage unit soon after 14+ months of renting here and wanted to note it was a great experience start to finish! Extra space in Arvada Colorado is the best. My stuff is safe and dry and I can get too anytime I need to. I keep construction materials there that I would Otherwise have to throw away and hen repurchase. The woman that works there is awesome too. Her name is Staci and she is the best thing about using extra space. She is so nice, friendly and helpful. She is always there to help me is I need it. I've never been there when she wasn't busy doing work. A great manager. read more
