Customer service is definitely a top priority for Legacy Moving. David C was my crew lead and he was awesome. Super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Will S was also great; he worked with speed and efficiency. I even caught Will jogging up and down the hallway a few times! Great quote, fast job, and overall great experience! 04/28/2125 Horrible experience. My unit was $40 and within 3 months it was $80. People living out…read moreof these tiny units, eating their meals, housing their dogs with them too, constantly. No security. Neither of the employees gave a hoot. They charged me for insurance. I told them I had my own insurance and provided paperwork they said they needed. Then they told me there was nothing they could do about the charge. I had enough and emptied my unit. The guy would not give me the release paperwork and I literally had to call the police to get it as the guy locked me out of the office. I'm very sure they would have just kept charging my card. The police said they know all too well about these issues. The wonderful cop who brought me my paperwork told me they are slippery snakes. These people are crooks. I would like to give them -10 stars. This occured on 04/28/2025 which is and was my move out date. I never want to even look at that place again when I drive by. I am reading many reviews regarding them continuing to charge after the customer has vacated. My bill is paid and I have proof. If they try that, I will report them to the proper agencies and the city and I will pursue legal action. I will update this review also. In response to your reply to my review: I would rather eat ground glass than to speak to anyone else from this company. I called that number when I was charged for insurance. The woman told me to take my State Farm paperwork in to the location on West Colfax as she could do nothing on her end. I did that and that female employee (there are two employees there so she is easily recognizable as is the guy) told me there was nothing she could do. Even if she had refunded me the stupid $20 ish you charged me, I would never dream of wasting my time with a storefront establishment. This is a homeless shelter minus the supervision or security. Any future "tenants" should note the dog food strewn about the bay. Why would anyone need to feed a dog in that bay? Because they are living there. I watched many people eating their meals, placing doggy doors around their units so they could enjoy their meals and playtime, and spending the night there. Anytime I would tell these two about this, they would again look at their computers which is what they do when they intend to do nothing. Please eat my dust. I have changed my card for when you attempt to keep charging me for the rest of my life. I have left notes around my house that if anything happens to me; suffice to say that I have left instructions especially since the guy was physically aggressive. Since I arrived a little before the front office opened, I waited until the attendant showed up. Right when she arrived, Kayla said she would help us out once she finished setting up. Once we explained the issue and showed her my mistake, she looked through the other available units and was able to find one that would fit our needs. Throughout the process, she was very helpful in trying to make sure to check for the best value and prices for storing our items.

The manager, Megan, came by as I was clearing out the unit and stopped to talk to me. Megan pretended she was not the manager as she was watching watch I was pulling out of the unit which was thousands of dollars worth of tools. I told her I was going to need some more time, just a few hours, to clear everything out of unit. She said I would have to talk to the manager in the morning. When I arrived the next morning, the guy working there was not manager and told me Megan was the manager and she ordered me to be locked out and also said she had called someone to pick everything up. I was suppose to have 72 hours to clear everything out. I signed the papers with them 68 hours ago.
