I would like to add that today is Mothers Day. this is the second review from the review below. per the review below, we both have called as we were told to in the response below. However all 6 times we called, we never received any help at all. My mother still can not walk. and lost her job. she has no means of income and we don't know if she will be able to walk ever again. this all happened in 3 mins. she was walking and then she lost use of her legs. so as I stated we did call again as they purposed they would help. again they did not help. but they did apparently think it was appropriate to call on Mothers Day to tell my mother that they put a lien on her unit. and then sent a print email after. Is that not the best Mothers Day present ! So kind. my mother called last month a few times. They refused to help her. all she asked for was the late fees to be taken off so she could afford to pay the rent. And on top of that, they almost doubled the rent. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I was overcharged $432 over a period of 3 years. I have been diligently trying to get this resolved. Ruben the manager refuses. Passed it on to Nick, the district manager who also refuses, in spite of all my documentation. They also have an obvious data breach, which Nick calls "just a little computer glitch". I have received 8 different emails with other peoples formation. Additionally, my credit card was hacked. I went in to give my new credit card information and asked to be on Autopay. She apparently didn't take care of that. I found out two months later after my bill had not been paid. And now I had late fees that they refused to reverse. I have emailed corporate now hoping they are more savvy than their minimum wage employees. I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Anybody else want to chime in? read more

Nice people work here but Storquest is run out of California, over my almost 5 yrs there they tried to nearly double my already expensive rent, in large increments, and without 30 days advance notice. You can expect that at least annually. They agreed a couple times to hold the rate where it was but recently they didn't honor that. After trying for four months, got a not quite 2wk notice they increased the amount a second time despite agreeing not to. Thankfully they only need 7 days notice on our end so I immediately moved out. I was on auto pay, never late. They just lost a good tenant, I will never rent from Storquest again. Also these units are not at all sealed so dirt and bugs cover everything, found 2 black widows in mine. I was there once when it was windy, whole building was moving like crazy, literal dust storm inside my unit, TALK ABOUT DIRTY AND DUSTY IN THERE! You really will need tightly sealed plastic bins there because all your stuff will be literally blanketed in dirt! read more

Rats rats rats. I advise anyone looking to rent here to run far away from this business. My stuff was in their storage for several months. When i went to start moving out i found that my unit had been ravaged by rats. They had crapped peed had babies and ate everything in the unit. When i brought it to the attention of the person running the place i was given rat sticky traps. The next morning I returned and found that 4 rats got stuck on the traps 2 on each one i was given amd they were still alive. I went back to get more and was told i had to wait till the pest control came back to get more. A week went by nothing another week nothing. I could not get my things out fast enough. I took pictures and filed an insurance claim only to find out that they only pay out $400 after they take a deductible out. I lost clothing, furniture, family heirlooms, photo albums, and much more. I went to a lawyer thinking i could sue for recovery but they had so many clauses in the contract there was no way to recover damages. The business knew that a tenant had rice in her unit and thats what brought the rats in and instead of notifying other tenants they did nothing. Beware of this property. We were out of state so we had to make our payments online. The local office claims that the corporate office did not inform them of our payments so they put our stuff up for auction. The local office did discover their mistake and attempted to recover most of our belongings, some things were not recovered. While we were still living out of state Megan called me to tell me that our unit was unlocked. She tried to blame us for leaving it unlocked. I reminded her that we had been out of state for years and the only people who had access to our unit was Storquest staff. I have found Megan to be rude, arrogant, condescending, and only interested in covering her butt. Her attitude did not change until I contacted her district manager. Before you put your stuff into the unit document, preferably with pictures and a StorQuest representative signing off on the inventory of everything is in the unit, Without proper documentation you will be unable to file a police report and/or insurance claim read more

I never thought that I would be so impressed with a storage unit rental! They run an impeccable business! Every staff member was a pleasure to work with and the owner is wonderful. Not only did they treat me with the upmost respect but they also treated my family and my boyfriend (who I referred to them) with the same kindness. They worked with me through every step of every process from unit selection, moving trucks and moving out. My unit was exactly what I had asked for and their prices are very reasonable. The entire lot is well kept (including the very clean unit) and I felt very comfortable and secure leaving my belongings there. Not happy with the manager here. It's a shame because the price is great and the workers are very nice. Was told I had ten days to pay before a late fee was applied. Manager "could not" reverse late fee applied on the 9th day when I called to pay. Life gets busy and it was a holiday weekend and he wouldn't help us out...after we were told we had ten days. Confusing billing, put my unit under the wrong name, and I did not have a great experience when I called to sort it out - office guy has a bit of attitude. They have tripled the late fee and lock you out almost immediately. I rented a large unit here for 5 or 6 years (many thousands of dollars), but I will be looking for a new place as soon as it's convenient. read more
