The Public Storage unit itself was fine. The easy access with a code or app on my phone was great. However, this particular location's property manager is a very rude woman. We had several problems starting from the very beginning when moving in. On day one, she came to me and told me that she could see everything I had in my truck on the camera and she didn't think that I was not going to be able to fit all of my items into the unit. Her attitude towards us was just terrible. I was moving into a new apartment, and not everything I had with me was going into the storage unit, which was none of her business anyways. Then one day while getting a few things out of my own storage unit and putting back holiday boxes, the same woman came out and yelled at me as if I was robbing the place, because apparently it was close to closing time. I was absolutely shocked in the manner in which she talked to me. She told me that if I was there even one minute after 9pm she would report me. They also raised the rates randomly one month without any notification. When I did complain about that, they allowed me to have a 3-month extension at my current price. Which was the only good thing about this situation. The last thing that happened that pushed me over the edge of no longer wanting to use this storage facility was just last month. I've had this storage unit for almost a year, and I was happily moving from an apartment back into a house. My husband and I had previously separated but were now getting back together, so there were several items I was moving out of the unit and then would be moving other items back into the unit from his other apartment. This same woman, the property manager, made the assumption that I was moving out of the storage unit for good I guess? She did not ask me, I received no written or verbal communication asking this of me... I only realized that I received an email saying "Thanks for moving out, here's your final bill". So she basically watched on camera us moving a bunch of stuff and made an assumption without even actually checking what was going on?? I ended up having to call Public Storage customer service, got transferred around a couple times, to get my account reactivated. I decided at that point I no longer wanted to be a Public Storage customer and would take my business elsewhere. read more

Needed a storage place where I could book a unit after hours on Saturday for Sunday loading of unit. All done online. I arrived at the unit which had been cleaned out and a lock with key placed in the unit so I could lock up when done. Access to the gate is by typing in a code or using phone app. The only negative was that the unit I had was on a fairly steep hill - so a little hard to get to with a large truck. Yikes - we rented a storage unit here 8 months ago and recently had issues with our door opening and closing. We provided Public Storage with our key to the unit so they can fix the door and all of the sudden someone stole our valuable items in our unit. The police are investigating but I've seen very lax security here with gates always open or broken and propped doors. Check out their security before you make a decision. Update: We toured the property with Public Storage and showed them the broken gate (no key code required), broken doors (no key code required), they were aware of these issues but were not planning to fix them. They refused to show us any the video of the robbery or and have no record of anyone entering to exiting the property with key codes during the break-in. I got a unit online, thinking this was easy and great! However, I never received a access code! I call and call and get no answer. I luckily found someone in the office on a Sunday but after realizing it was on the 2nd floor and she was obviously very irritated and rude, I cancelled my unit. They kept my admin fee of $29 when I never even got a code or able to get in. Technically, how was the service to get the unit fully completed?? read more

Just like another review. The hours it's actually open is not as advertised. Two days I've shown up and find that the office is closed I called after the first time and asked if he was going to have another dentist appointment he said no so I show up today and guess what. It's closed at 3:10 pm. And of course don't know if it will be 10 minutes or closed for the day because nobody answers. I would not recommend this place because of the lack of professionalism in keeping the office open read more

They have upped my monthly charge twice, and then when I tried to get it to stay at the price I originally agreed to they denied my request, then I went to look at available units at the same location and they have MANY units that were even larger than mine for considerably less than what they were trying to charge me. Almost $80 more for me than new units. Total rip off, I would not keep your stuff here. They will continue to raise the prices on you read more

This is a great place to be honest, I was staying at the hotel next door and I had a tough situation where I needed storage ASAP, so I was like" hey I'm next door to a storage place" and just like that I filled my stuff out online got the storage the same day, it was the right size, cheap, and the storage was easy to find, to be honest I was lucky because they had only one left of the storage I was looking for, I give this place 10 stars if I could! read more

I would give less than 1 star if that was a possibility. I would encourage you to think twice before renting storage space at this particular location and with this company in general. When I first rented with this company the property manager Grace was quite solicitous. Over the course of my stay her behavior became increasingly alarming. She has made rude, hateful, spiteful, vengeful, racist, and foul comments. I arrived today to vacate the space and she refused me entry by suspending my gate code stating that I could not vacate the property while my moving company was on the way. I had to call the national customer service line and was met with equally disappointing customer service. First I spoke with Nick who basically told me to deal with it as there was no one who could help me. Then I called back and spoke with Jessica; she read the notes from my call with Nick and told me I could leave a voicemail and someone would get back to me next week. The district manager only called me after I informed them that I would be calling gr police to have them assist me in retrieving my property. Do yourself a favor; rent elsewhere. read more

She put in a request to lower our rent since we had been a loyal customer. I thought that was great customer service and give us feed back that we are not treated just like a number on a list. I signed in to this storage area recently, On Briarwood, Centennial. I WOULD have given it a 5 star because of the excellent help I received from the employee named Meagan. She was kind, professional, so knowledgeable, so easy & fun to work with. I immediately signed up. This place is very clean, very easy access. But I must say that the employee Grace was very mean, condescending, & actually,corrected & talked down to Megan, right in front of me, for trying to help me see a unit. I was so embarrassed. A few weeks ago my storage unit was broken into. we calle dthe cops had the insurance look into it and everything but No cooperation from the Public Storage Manager or District manager, Actually we called to discuss possibly getting a discount (not because someone stole our things that isn't their fault, but because our lock was grinned/sawed off and then a new lock was put on with the "official" public storage sticker) The DM told us that they do not give discounts, and said that if we went a wrote 1000 bad reviews he would just removed them.
