The UPS Store

I cannot say enough good things about the service, sincerity and integrity of the staff at this…read morestore. We have exclusively used them for shipment of our items - in one case I saw the true genius of the Deepa and her husband- customizing a shipping box in a manner I've never seen before. The problem solving was so effective and creative it looked like an IQ test!!! Great place to business and great people!

If I could give zero stars, I would! This location provided excellent service in the past. However,…read moresince the marketing and ownership changed, both the service and quality have declined drastically. The younger staff members seem indifferent to your packaging and shipping needs. I went around 10 a.m. on a January Monday, 2025. When I got in the store, I saw the worker's facial/body language, and all it said was, "Argh, one of those annoying shipments," as it was clear that it was unpacked and big. Here's a detailed account of the interaction. First, I asked if UPS could do the packaging, and she said yes. Then, I asked that I would like to stick around when they did the packaging so I could ensure corners, sides, etc, were protected with enough bubble wrap. She answered that she didn't know what time the item was going to be packed, so I said I could hang out for 30 min and wait; then she gave a vast excuse that it could be for a while, 2 hrs, or more, blah, blah... not to mention that the other 2 girls on the back were standing, chatting and doing absolutely nothing. So then I asked, would you mind calling me when you guys are about to do the packaging, as I don't live far away? (I wanted to be present to ensure the equipment was correctly packed because it is over $2000 dlls). Again, excuses, excuses, as pretty much she didn't want to go out of her way and was just pure laziness. Facial expressions don't lie. I also asked her that I would like to add stickers around the box that said handle with care, fragile, and keep this side up. Answer: we don't have them. UPS doesn't provide Fragile, etc stickers? I want to ensure it arrives safe, I said. She goes... UPS doesn't guarantee it will arrive safely without damage because it is up to the UPS drivers. Once it leaves the store, we don't have control over it or know if it is being handled properly. Yeah, that is why the sticker will help, I said. Well, I can write it down with a marker. Her tone and face were like saying, " I couldn't care less." At this point, I started being sarcastic about her failure and the company's failure to deliver excellent service. So, I grabbed my equipment and said, "Thanks so much for your help. I am going to pass and try FeEx," she replied, "You will also run with the same issue... lol!" Well, I will find out myself, and guess what? The service, packaging, and delivery were outstanding! They exceeded my expectations. I also was able to watch them pack my ex-amplifiers, and I was even able to make suggestions on key point areas where more bubble wrap needed to be placed. The packaging was $25 bucks, and the shipping cost was better than UPS (Unwieldy Purge Shop). FedEx packaging cost was $25 bucks. So, from now on, I will be done with UPS! Never again! The staff is incompetent, unprofessional, and lazy, acting like they own the store. Customer Service completely sucks since they change their marketing and culture. I will find out this girl's name and update this review in case you guys end up in that location to avoid this useless employee. I dislike giving bad reviews, but I have to be honest and matter-of-fact in my reviews. It is never my intention to harm the business, but I don't think they will be losing a few bucks for a review. This is a multimillion-dollar company. Please see the photo of the customer being satisfied with the packaging. FedEx! Bravo!!

They contacted me personally. Once, using humans! ( David) and then Al (not Ai but Al as in Albert) guided me through the process making sure I knew everything up front. Moving day came and the team handled my stress and worries so well, being careful with packing my valuables and clothes, meeting me at my cross town destination putting everything away carefully, and shaking my hand at the end, making me feel relief that the whole process was done FAST and FAR cheaper than other services quoted me. I will be using them on my next move! a note: paying directly in cash will save you card fees.

They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!

While moving from Centennial to Co Springs we had rented a U-Haul and thought, psh.. we got this!…read more(just the 2 of us...). Then we came to our senses and realized it was going to take us forever and we are definitely not spring chickens! So we started calling around for quotes on moving our 2 bedroom condo to a home in the springs. We spoke to Sherry who provided all the hourly costs for 2 guys and for 3 guys on a Saturday with a $30 charge for gas since it was an out of town move. Not too bad. We weren't sure exactly how long it might take but we anticipated the move would be about $1500. On moving day the truck (giant truck) pulled up and 3 happy guys greeted me. Mike, Justin, and Pena. They took a look around and got right to work. They had us out of the old house in about 2 hours and handled everything with extreme care! As they were finishing securing everything in the truck we left ahead of them to head to the new house. Thinking they would take much longer than us we started unloading our cars and they pulled up behind us immediately! Moving in was much simpler since we just wanted all the boxes in the garage and all of the furniture in the living room. They cleaned up their truck, settled the final bill, and went on their way. Ended up being about $1400 and worth every penny to be all moved in with out the aches and pains and days it would have taken us!

They got off to a rough start but they completed the move with no lost items and no damage.read more

**MOVERS BEWARE** Scheduled American Master Movers for a…read moresimple move (apartment items to storage / leather sofa & love seat set to separate residence). Two men showed up on time and promptly began moving. When I made my reservation, I was told all the "services" that were included, with one being that all furniture would be wrapped in blankets for the move. I noticed right away that all furniture was only being wrapped in stretch wrap, not blankets as discussed. I asked why no blankets were being used, they informed me that since I did not elect to purchase the blankets that none would be used. They reassured me that the plastic they were using would be enough protection and I took their word and had them carry on with the loading. Their loading & stacking seemed aggressive (to the point it made me question how well I packed my boxes), but I attributed that to the fact I was being charged hourly and they wanted to move as fast as possible. Once we were complete with loading, they made the short drive to the storage unit. While unloading at the storage unit my headboard (which was not wrapped in a blanket OR plastic) fell in the truck. I was immediately notified and told that American Master Movers would have a "wood technician" come repair the damage in 6+ weeks as this guy is "in high demand". The damage sustained to this piece of furniture is not repairable (see photos) and I asked for the article to be replaced. The lead guy of the move talked with his manager and agreed the item would be replaced. They carried on with the move until all items were in the storage unit. Part of my move included having a power reclining leather sofa & loveseat set taken to a residence instead of in storage. This was no problem for the guys, so they continued to the second drop off location. They were quick with bringing in the loveseat, and after about 30 minutes of waiting for the sofa to come in, I went to the truck to see if they needed any help. They said they were "completing paperwork" but were both looking underneath my sofa which seemed odd. A few minutes later they came in with the sofa and seemed very rushed to leave. We processed the payment, and they were off in a flash. Approximately 2 hours after they leave, I decide to check the sofa & loveseat to confirm the power mechanisms are all correct & functioning. I find the power recline function on the sofa is not working and being to investigate. I check outlets and begin to trace the cords and that is when I found that they ripped the power cords and tried to cover it up and "fix" it with brown packing tape. I immediately called American Master Movers and tried every extension and was sent to voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail explaining the issues that would need resolution (headboard & sofa) but did not get a response back. The next day I sent an email to Cameron at American Master Movers and received a response from "John Hudson" identifying himself as the Assistant Operations Manager, saying that Cameron (who is the General Operations Manager) "is out of the office until further notice" but promised the items I needed resolution on would be resolved. I provided all items he requested (original receipt of the headboard, and my availability to have an electrician come repair the couch). After my prompt response I have not heard anything back from American Master Movers. It has been 45 days since my move, and I have sent 6 follow up emails and left over a dozen voicemails with no response. I am at the point where I must dispute the charges with my credit card due the lack of responsibility taken by American Master Movers.
