Albeit the manager contacted me gave me a number for claims then in the same breath chastised me. once for being late 20 minutes, as everything was blocked off at the entrance and no one is available accept the computer generacted thing to call! My second offense was the night I was robbed!! I had to cut their lock put mine on.There was no concern zero. He could care less. He then denied me access to the gate FOR 4 DAYS! Like punishing a child (who pays a lot of rent)! I called the "regional manager" who didn't return my calls. No class no concern. Never would I use a public storage facility any where ever. Daniel was there and we had a conversation about my feelings speaking with him yesterday. He was very sorry I had misread some of his comments. I am in a tight spot with getting help with my move and I did not wish to be quoted one thing now and then have information and costs change later. He understood and was very helpful. There was a young lady there named Rebecca who was so gracious and professional. She explained every step in detail and gave me plenty of time to note what my codes and unit number was. Daniel also took the time to walk to the unit with me and explain how the door worked as it has some unique things to know about. All went very well and I am pleased that I chose to return here and will rely on Daniel to take care of any futur storage needs.

I asked them 3-4 times if they got it and they said yes and they submitted it. Over a month later on Jan 13th they finally told me they never sent in my insurance claim and they don't even have it so I had to resend it. They told me the claim finally got approved and the check will be here in 10-14 days. It's been 26 days and I still have nothing. My unit got broken into sometime in October and I still have not gotten my insurance payout because these people have no clue what they are doing, they pretended like they help but do nothing, and they honestly screw over the customers. I've talked to a lot of other renters and everyone I have talked to has been treated poorly by these people. Almost every conversation includes I'm looking for a new place. The gates and doors are broken all the time so I find homeless and other people who shouldn't be there. The amount of times I've seen someone trying to steal a bike out front or something is crazy. They've also messed up my card payments 3-5 times. I have auto pay and have always had money on my cards, yet somehow every few months I get an email saying thanks for finally paying and there was a late fee added. They even sent me emails that they cut off my own lock and put their lock on because "I missed a payment." Honestly it's taking everything in me not to go in and curse these awful individuals out. They still have not fixed their shit and they decide to throw more shit on me all of the time. I am so fucking over it. Once they finally give me my couple thousand, I'm probably going to find a new place too. Awful awful awful. Honestly they have seriously damaged my financial well being because of all this. They told me my claim was in in December so I bought my stuff back, it was over $6K stolen because they said they check would be there in a few weeks. Now it's been 3 months and still no check and my bank is still way lower than it should be because I used all my savings. I hate GreenBox. Not to mention, they also refused to let me use the truck when I moved in and they said that's free.

You can go in at any time with your code. After a while, they started locking down the garbage outside. I was going through my mom's things after she passed away, and I had to take everything I wanted to throw away home with me. It was frustrating that they didn't have a way to take care of that there. I started to get a little sketched out when I went on the weekends. It was pretty empty, but I would run into people who gave the impression of hanging out (sitting in the hall, charging their phones.... No idea if they actually were living there, but it just gave me a weird vibe). I tried to go into the office to take care of a problem that I had and no one was in there during regular business hours. That was frustrating when I drove all the way there to meet with someone. I could've dealt with all that, but my last straw was after I had been paying on time for years, there was some situation with my credit card, and they charged me a late fee. I took care of it as soon as I got the email about it, but they wouldn't reverse the fee and because it was the weekend, they also disabled my code, so I couldn't get in. So annoying that they would throw away a good customer relationship just to get a late fee. I then packed up my stuff and moved somewhere else.

I have called now 5 or 6 times and "He's away from the office. This is the call center and we cannot help you. Call back later". Yes, it was understandable the first or second times but by the 5th or 6th time, it's either a total scam that prevents you from getting your money back or the most inefficient, non-customer focused process in the history of storage centers. Do yourself a favor, go with another company that doesn't make it impossible to get a promised refund.
