Each and every employee is very friendly and efficient. Chris has been exceptional to work with. Prices here are far better than the surrounding storage facilities (especially now under new management). Units stay pretty cool or warm because of the way these units are put together compared to all other storage facilities we looked at. Renting a Uhaul on site was an added bonus and again Chris was very friendly and again efficient renting that out to me.

"Why are you going in there alone?" "Why are you turning down that dark scary hallway?" The elevator is kind of scary and old and the flickering fluorescent lights are a bit unnerving, but all seems relatively well and safe here. Sure, I'm used to living in the suburbs. But I still feel like it's not terribly convenient to have a storage unit off a big busy street with meter parking (maybe you get a spot right out front, maybe not) when you're trying to pick up heavy boxes of stuff and get them to your car. They have dollys and all, but it's still odd to me to be wheeling personal items down Broadway to your car. Keep in mind they have standard biz hours so you can't make any late night stops!

Had a great experience getting set up with Denver RV Self Storage. The manager was super helpful in…read morenot only helping me select a spot, but she also saved me a bunch of money by recognizing when I'd need to give notice to my previous storage facility, suggesting I call immediately based on timing! I was able to then cancel just in time before month end, and seamlessly move into the new spot without being charged for an additional month. Now that's what I call great service! I like this location a LOT better, and my spot is easy to back in as well, making this a no brainer decision. Feels good to have faith in management, I'll likely stay for many years to come!

The contract that you sign states that you pay first and last months rent when you sign up. I guess some of the other reviewers are a bit challenged when it comes to reading even the most simple contracts. Anyway, I'm happy with this lot and will stay with them until I can figure out how to legally store my RV at home. Update - Downgrading to 3 stars over the dump station. There is no water available next to it, so you cannot flush your tanks, like at almost every campground in America. Secondly, they charge you 10 dollars to use it. At the most, this should be 5 bucks, and ideally free for people that are paying to store their RV there. This is common practice in the Denver area. The rent here is a little less than most of the other places around town, but they'll nickle and dime you. Also, the 'free firewood' they advertise is basically just a pile of tree stumps and waste wood from who knows where, but it's not what you'd think it should be, none of it is ready to burn.
