I have been a loyal customer, always paying my rent on time, but I'm extremely disappointed with Public Storage. Once again, my monthly rent was significantly increased by 21% without any notice. My account is set to autopay, and I only discovered the price hike when I check my monthly statement -- no email, no call, no warning. To make matters worse, I've been unable to reach anyone at the facility or get help from customer service to resolve this issue. When do you get ahold of customer service they are extremely rude and it's a dead end to the conversation. Public Storage claims "market rates," but if you want a fair price, they'll make you move all your belongings to a different unit within the same property -- even though they're charging much lower rates for the exact same unit you're already in. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for storage. Public Storage may dominate the industry, but they take advantage of loyal customers with unfair practices and poor communication. read more

We have found Public Storage to be the perfect place to store our home contents. The indoor climate controlled units have worked well for two years. Clean facilities and friendly helpful staff. We found excellent special online prices on their website and contactless reservation and move-in was a breeze. Highly recommend. read more

The contactless online rental process was simple, issue free and quite quick! Only took a few minutes to complete paperwork, get my rental confirmation, gate code (via text) and the written green light to proceed directly to the unit. Unit was clean with the lock waiting inside it. So much simpler and quicker than the old "in person" method!!! read more

As far as storage places go this facility is good. We are finishing our basement and needed a place to move into pretty quickly. I booked our unit on a Monday and moved into on Tuesday morning. Everything was pretty straight forward for getting intro the unit. The space is newer and our unit was clean and in a good location. The staff, although my time was limited with them, was friendly and helpful. If you're near this place the facility and units are going to meet you expectations. read more

Stay away! All I can say of the positive reviews is if you have a standard basic transaction, its easy to meet expectations. However if you expect to have authorized users access your unit or anything out of the ordinary, don't expect anything other than difficulties, rudeness, and inconvenience. They regularly confronted my users with authorized access for just being on the property. They were never out of line or rude or breaking rules. Then they would arbitrarily remove people from my account without telling me, further increasing frustration and necessitating us to find a storage unit further away from our business. Despite the increased distance, at least it is almost twice the size at half the cost. Another big drawback to this place, ungodly expensive! read more

This public storage facility made it very easy to rent a unit. It was clean and easy to access. The staff was friendly and helpful. Louis checked me out after I emptied my unit. He was quick, efficient, and friendly. I received my confirmation email immediately that the lease was canceled. I will definitely rent here again if needed. read more

We registered on line which was a snap after checking the pricing and deciding which facility was the most convinient. We were able to afford a larger unit there because of the intro pricing available at this beautiful new facility. The unbelieveable pricing and the one dollar move in special was something we couldn't pass up. Minutes after finishing the reservation process I received call from Rebecca to confirm my reservation and make an appointment to stop by and tour the facility. We stopped by this afternoon and worked with Scott to take a tour of the space. The location was perfect on the main floor. Scott was very informative and showed us how the lock system works as well as the keypads and the elevators which we won't be needing. The paperwork process was very smooth and Jennifer was helpful answering questions. read more

Diane was incredibly helpful even though she did not regularly work at this location. Even though she was having a hard day after a previous customer was incredibly rude to her over the phone, she did everything she could to make sure we had the right size storage unit and to make our move in to the storage unit as smoothly as possible. This place is a joke! LONG story short I made 5 trips and 3 phone calls trying to rent one storage and then wanted to transfer to a larger unit and they gave me conflicting information so when I made a 6th trip to upgrade storage sizes I was told that they would not apply the promotion that THEY applied to my reservation. We recently rented 2 units to hold our entire household items for a 4 month period between selling one home and waiting for our new home build to be completed. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient in getting us set up in units that fit our needs. The facility is exceptionally clean and secure. Easy access as well. I have had a nightmare of a moving experience and Trisha and Jennifer have been sooo helpful and friendly and competent. The storage part of my move was smooth and trouble free and they have helped work through a complicated business situation with another vendor, always courteous and willing to help me figure out what to do in order to keep my items safe. This place is fairly awesome. I haven't needed a storage unit within the last 30 years. They didn't look like this back then. This place is clean, secure, safe and neat and reasonably priced. Jennifer is a sweetheart and showed me where everything was and how to work the weird lock on my door and the code on the gate AND IT HAS AN ELEVATOR.. An elevator??? Be ready for major price increases only 3 months into the contract. PS allows this in their contract language. My rate increased over 20%, and Bryce was essentially "meh, nothing I can do, it's all corporate" when I asked about it. Of course, once you're in a unit, it's problematic logistically to simply move to another storage company. PS knows this and will jack rates almost as soon as you're in the unit. Be warned: Negotiate a 6- or 12-month price guarantee before signing with any storage company. Bryce's lack of empathy and transactional nature turned me from a delighted customer to a completely unsatisfied customer in less than two minutes. read more

We needed a storage unit very quickly. After getting online and pre-registering, we headed over to the Public Storage facility in Parker. Jennifer (on duty) was very polite and professional. She did a great job telling us she had to help another person first. What I mean by that is she thoroughly explained what she had to do and approximately how long it would take. As the only employee there, we were quite content to wait. When it was our turn, Jennifer gave us a tour of the unit, explained the process to us and made sure my husband could lock and unlock the unit and that the security code worked. This place is top notch for the service and as a storage facility goes.. IT IS THE BEST!!!, I recently moved into a new apartment and contacted Jennifer to tell her I would be vacating the unit . She then informed me she could pro-rate the rent for the month of July up to the 6th and after that date I would have to pay the full amount if I still occupied the unit, these where reasonable terms since I had plenty of time to hire movers and get out of the unit..Since it was near a holiday weekend I was only able to get movers there on the 6th.. I showed up for the time me and the movers had set and waited for them for and hour and a half b4 I realized they where not coming...This was a very frustrating situation.. Jennifer was not working at this time a nice gentlemen named Bryce was I explained the situation to him and prepared to pay them for the rest of the month, this would have been a tough pill to swallow because moving is pricey especially in the state of Colorado at the moment.. without a breath needed to be spoken Bryce and Jennifer took pity on me and my situation and helped me by getting a hold of there District Manager and asking them to help me out if possible which they did.. Service like this is almost impossible to get from any business. If you rent from here you will know that the team(Jennifer,Bryce,ect) have your best intentions in mind and will treat you like a human being and not a number.. THANK YOU!!! By far the worst storage rental experience ever! We rented 2 units from them for over a year, one for my Father and one for ourselves. First, they did not want to honor their promotional price of the first month for a dollar so we had to put one in our company name and one in my Father's name. Then, they charged us more for the second unit which was smaller. After renting the units they hounded us for several days to come back to their facility to sign paperwork they neglected to have us sign. Every time we tried to gain access to the facility it was not plowed. The facilities are run down and often times the doors are completely iced in. The isles are so narrow you have to reverse anything smaller than a compact car just to get out because they refuse to open up the access gates. Jennifer is literally the rudest customer service person I have encountered in many years. And when we ask for a manager to call us back we were told the Manager is too busy and we can call her if we have any problems. Now they have charged us half a months additional rent because we left the lock that we were forced to purchase on the unit after our move out. Absolutely save yourself.....the worst storage in Parker, and the most expensive! We have had really good luck at virtually ever other storage unit we have used in Parker.....all I can say is save yourself from the misery of these people. You don't have to take my word for it, just observe the facility before you rent from them. read more
